Apr 15, 2010I kind of accidently formated my 4gb micro SD, which came with the phone. There was something on in that I shouldn't ? I believe something for sync, but what?

Apr 17, 2013Most of the specs for tablets which have a micro SD media slot do not give any details about it. I'm generally wondering if a slot labelled "microSD" will accept a micro SDHC card (as opposed to a micro SD card). I know, for example, that some older memory card readers won't read the SDHC cards, even if they have an SD slot. I'm not sure about the tablets however.
Example of some of the tablets that I'd be interested in knowing this about are: Acer Iconia A700 or A210, and Toshiba Excite.

I've had it on for the last 16 hours and although the light goes orange and the little battery animates as though it's charging it hasn't budged since I put it on... I haven't tried it with the official cable yet but does anyone know of any reason why a non-HTC USB cable wouldn't do the same as a HTC branded one?

HTC Desire : Way To Transfer Music Onto Micro SD?
Jun 27, 2010I'm just wondering what people find is the best way to transfer music/files onto the Micro SD? I've tried connecting the phone via USB and also placing the Micro SD into a card reader and connecting directly to the PC that way. However, with both methods I get the same fault. When I place the card back into the phone, or disconnect the USB I get the 'Preparing SD Card' message, followed by 'The SD Card is damaged' with my only option to format the card and start all over again.

I bought a mini to micro USB adapter so that I could use the kit with the new Desire HD, but when I plug the new phone to the micro USB adapter the Desire HD just shuts down and I have to remove and replace the battery to get it working again.

Jul 4, 2010As I had a Nokia N85 laying around, containing a 8GB micro SDHC class 6 memory card, I was planning on using this on my desire, since that only came with a 4gb card. However, I formatted the 8GB card in windows, (to fat 32). (I've might have formatted the partitions and everything as well). But either the Desire or PC cant find my SD card at this point. When I put the 8gb card into my N85 and then connect the N85 to my PC, the computer finds it. My N85 has no problem locating the SD card either. What to I have to do to the SD card to be able to use it with my Desire?

What id do is take the no-contract pre-paid data plan of the iPad 3G, most likely the 200MB/month for $15 and use Google Voice and other various VoIP clients to use as phone and GV for texts. I pretty much have WiFi where ever I go and pretty decent AT&T 3G in my area. Yes I know, it's just not that simple. Id have to change the APN on the device to att's broadband.
