View 6 RepliesI'm doing it by going to chrome>google>images>wallpaper>save image>gallery>set as. But problem is it always seems to be low quality when I do it that way. The wallpapers aren't low quality it's 1920x1200. When I open them in images it always appears small, so I think I'm actually saving that small image.

View 6 Replies View RelatedIf both people had the same app and of course had android... Like where I could upload something and they could download it like a mms, or would I have to use cloud sharing? Also which is the best cloud sharing and easiest for both pc and phone? Skybox/Cloud whatever microsoft calls it, dropbox or? I'd like one where I could upload everything from a pc with no transfer/UPLOADING required, just drag ad drop.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI spent a considerable time and effort attaching photos to all my 100+ contacts. These photos were crops from larger photos so, stupidly in hindsight, I did not preserve any of them. I would like to copy all my contacts, complete with photos, to another phone. Copying the simple contact info is easy via the Gmail export/import procedure, but that does not copy the attached photos. Is there a simple way of copying contacts complete with photos?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm an old Apple veteran who was rocking iPhone for about 6 years, starting with the original. However I wasn't due for an upgrade until December, so I couldn't get an iPhone 5 as soon as it was released... as fortune would have it, I found an ad on Craigslist where a fella was trading his Galaxy S3 straight up for a "iPhone 4 or 5". So we met at the Verizon store and I gave him my iPhone 4 32gb and he gave me his Galaxy S3 16gb with a 32gb SD card. Talk about a SCORE!
Anyway, I've been learning the Android ropes for about two weeks now. Here is my question/dilemma: at the end of the month we are taking a vacation to Las Vegas and Disneyland. I anticipate recording lots of video and shooting lots of photos at Disneyland.
I would like to be able to edit my videos using iMovie on the iPad, but I'm not quite sure how I can get the video moved over. I'd rather not have to lug my MacBook Pro across the country with me.
Can I use the SD card adapter for the iPad to pull video off of my S3's Micro SD? Or will it see the correct folder?
I thought about Dropbox, but can't find a way to move the video from Dropbox into iMovie. (grr iOS)
I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 - very nice looking device - to replace my old and clunky Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. And I want to transfer all my phone contacts across. On my Xperia, I've got "Phone contacts", and gmail contacts. I tried to import all my phone contacts by first exporting them to a simgle file, and transferring that file to the Samsung. And now I've got this vast list containing, it seems, everybody who I've ever called or emailed, including various names who I don't recognize at all. Is there any way (maybe a specialized app) of keeping my phone contacts and gmail contacts separate? And how do I manage my vast list of contacts?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a samsung galaxy xcover 2 2 weeks ago, and i realized that theres nothing to do to transfer/download straight to sd card. I called to Samsung support in finland and they said that i have to format the sd card and after that you can transfer some very few applicatoins to sd card but however i have not managed to transfer even one application. I have tried app2sd and searched around the internet in order to find some way to transfer apps to sd card. I found from youtube some kind of way, but there was like downloading some program to computer and then connecting the sd card and phone separately to computer and then giving some commands to computer and copy and cut and clicking thousands folders and some more stuff i didnt really understand the whole thing was really complicated. I am starting to be really frustrated for this problem or whatever it is, its just stupid to even put this kind of faulty "function" to any kind of smart phone. In every other way samsung galaxy xcover 2 is very excellent and easy to use, but i think transfering apps to sd is very important function/tool. How to transfer apps to sd in Samsung galaxy xcover 2.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S II X (Telus version in Canada) running their stock firmware, based on Android 2.3.5.
I've set it up to not sync my contacts with Gmail, and my contacts lists displays only the people I've added. However, if I create a text message and add recipients, it lists all my contacts in addition to every single person to whom I've ever sent an email from my Gmail account, and it's bloody annoying. I've been through the phone settings and can't find any way to disable this..? If this is a "feature" of the firmware, would I be better off rooting it and installing a different ROM?
