Mar 20, 2014Looking for a way to sync data between my galaxy note 3 and galaxy tab 3, like iCloud for the iPhone. When I had my iPhone it would sync all apps, notes, purchases etc between my iPad. Is there anyway to achieve this on the galaxy or with an app maybe?

Feb 10, 2013I just recently purchased a Galaxy Note 2 and have to say I absolutely love it! As I'm in the process of customizing it one thing I noticed is that there are no toggle widgets for independently turning on or off 3G or 4G as needed. I came from an HTC EVO 4G that had those widgets built into the Sense interface which worked great so that when I was traveling I could use 3G only if I was in that area or switch off 3G and goto 4G (WiMax), or switch off both when I was at home with an Airave.
I've looked throughout the Note 2 running android 4.1.1 and am unable to find any such widgets. I did download Power Widgets and Widgetoid but both seem inadequate by not effectively turning the radio on or off. Rather they take me to the screen to turn off the radio inside the android settings.
any good widgets that will turn the radios on/off with the simple press of the icon?
General :: Apps Not Loading - Data Resets After Restart (Galaxy Note 2)
Jan 4, 2013I download apps from play store, amazon appstore and other places..
When I restart my phone, Some apps (no matter where are they from (play, amazon, etc.)) They stop working.. they dont work anymore.. and I will have to re install the apps again and loss all data
And also some apps that still work, they start like its the first time I am starting them and all data in them are lost..
I tried multiple things to fix this like I factory reset my phone and also tried to flash new version of stock rom but I still have this problem.
My device: Galaxy Note 2, jelly bean 4.1.2, rooted (no custom rom indtslled)

Now I wanna flash CM10 on my my device and was wondering, if I create a Nandroid backup before flashing, can I restore my apps and data after I flash it? I mean, am l gonna still be able to retain previous messages, whatsapp conversations, game scores etc...

Sep 28, 2013A friend of mine set a password on his Galaxy Note and then he forgot it.Now, I know the solution is to access recovery and wipe data/factory reset.
BUT unfortunately he has lot of pictures and videos stored in the phone memory, not on SD, and he'd like not to lose all of it.
Is there a workaround for that? The Note is stock, but I can work on it, if there's a way to unlock the phone without losing data.

Jan 15, 2013I am running a cm10 based Rom on my note 2 and as such can't move apps to the sd card through the usual channels. I was able to get my play music cached songs to store on the external sd and any way to do the same for Google Play magazines as they take up more room.

I also want to have the game apps, music, and photos on my laptop without having to move the SD card around. I have changed the storage location when I take pictures to the SD card. Nov 20, 2010Is there anyway to allow data transfer over a wireless networ between the galaxy and a computer? I currently can't find my transfer cable and when I email myself songs and download them onto my phone, they are stored as a .mpx which play fine untill the phone is turned off or otherwise refreshes. After this, when trying to play the .mpx files an error message saying"No applications can perform this action" despite the songs playing fine only minutes before.However it would be damn useful just to connect my phone to the network, but while it connects, it doesn't appear in the devices connected to the network.

Feb 8, 2012Imagine the situation that Any data plan is not activated and as soon as u enable the data connection hundereds of thing in android want to connect to internet and when u disable the data connection again . Ur money is deducted.
Now u will ask me if i dont have a data plan why i enable the data connection.?
So here is the thing I want the data connection to be enabled so that i can open free site like facebook on Opera Mini.
So is there any way so that i can enable the data connection but my phone does not connect to internet to itself but i control which app connects. In my case opera mini.

Nov 19, 2013Never had any problems, but just today, my phone just shut off. When it shut off, it kept vibrating, just small pulses over and over until I took the battery out. When it shut off, it had 100% battery, so I put the battery back in hoping it would turn back on. The samsung logo/boot screen came up, then it just shut off. It does this repeatedly. I tried putting it into recovery so I can reset it, but it doesn't boot into recovery or download mode.
Strange things: Whenever I hold down the volume down key, it does the vibrating pulse thing until i take my finger off it. And when it's on the charger, it does the vibrating thing the whole time until I unplug it, even if the battery isn't in it.

Ever since i updated the software, two weeks ago, my phone keeps telling me that I have a new email (outlook) even though I don't! The phone vibrates as if I actually get a new email, but then it turns out that one of the already read emails suddenly is unread and "new". This happens every 10 minutes, so it's super frustrating. I am not using any specific app, just the one email-app that came with the phone.
