How do you uninstall unwanted apps that were there when i got my optimus v. They use up unnecessary space on my phone and some of them run in the background so i just want to get rid of them but you cant uninstall them in the applications menu?

My cell phone is a LG Optimus Hub E510... i have instaled the Cyanogen 7.0 to substitute my Android 2.3.4 that was in my cell phone... but after i've instaled the Cyanogem the apps and games have disappear... facebook, whatsapp and other... i tried to install the apps again but my cell sends a message that they're already instaled... what can i do to my apps appear again?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I load a new ROM and need to reinstall my apps there are usually a couple I don't want to install. Is there anyway to remove them from the "Not Installed" under "My Apps"? It seems like since I once downloaded and installed an app, it will always be there.
If I can't remove them, then I can't use the bulk install option and have to manually start all the installs.
Is there a way to remove the apps that you previously installed?

According to the manual you keep your finger on it until you get a red ring around it and then drag it to the bottom of the screen to the delete bin. Have tried this and it doesnt work? I flashed the phone but thereafter it would only turn on, pull up the MotoBlur sign in and have a date of 12/31/1969 at 7PM. I can't sign in to MotoBlur at that point and have to basically reinstall the most recent update and start from scratch again. All I want to do is remove those pre-installed apps that I never use.

What struck me was the amount of apps or widgets for things I'll never use cluttering the screens. Can these be removed or is this all linked to the OS? Is this what people are talking about in reference to installing ROMS? I understand that this is not yet possible on the Ds because of eFuse. I also understand it is being worked on.

we can clean some apps that we dont use going to playstore/myapss/all.
but if you try remove an app from the list (not the 1st app preferably), and install again that app you will notice the position on the list is the same. So its impossible delete apps history, google always remember what apps you have ever installed with your account?
