i had my phone sitting on my desk. they i noticed the phone was off with the battery caution exclemation point symbol on the screen. my phone a few hours before was fully charged. i plug it in and it is stuck at 13%.

I keep getting the email envelope with a exclamation point in my notify bar on the top of the phone. When I open it it says unable to send email even though I never sent one. It says check or verify account. I tried and it dosen't work. I was getting my mail fine and still am but I get that notification different times during the day. Is there a setting I need to adjust. I am using AOL has my default mail and have had no problem except for the notification I described.

View 1 Replies View Related i unrooted my DHD then attempted to reroot it using "Advanced Ace Hack Kit", it was going well untill it go to the 2nd reboot where it freezes at the htc logo.
i can get into the boot loader but when trying to go to recovery i get the exclamation point.
It comes up when sending text messages. Not in the messaging widget, but when you actually go into your text messages, and I think its some, not all. After the message is sent, on the right side of the screen/message, there is this red exclamation point.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been attempting to root my Eris, following the sticky at the top of the forum. It has proven to be impossible. I can not get by the USB driver portion of the tutorial. My phone is in debugging mode, but will not show up with an exclamation point no matter what I do, and Windows will not allow me to use the USB driver. I don't know if the tutorial is poorly explained or my phone is broken or corrupted but I've been having problems with it and was hoping the upgrade would fix said problems.

When 2.2 became available via OTA, I kept refusing the update, because I wasn't sure if I could update to it from a rooted phone. My wife was using the phone one day when the update notice popped up again, and she proceeded with the update. Sure enough, the update ended up failing, with a red triangle and exclamation point.
After I rebooted the device, I never received another OTA update request. So I tried to unroot the phone, but clockwork seems to stick around. Just an hour ago, I tried to install the official 2.2 ROM (PB31IMG.zip). After applying the image, I get a green triangle, then the same red triangle with an exclamation point. I restarted the device, but now it boots into the white hboot screen, with the following info:

My Ally was rooted. I saw that a new update was available, so I unrooted the phone for it. It restarts and then the screen gets an exclamation point with a little Android. I take the battery out to restart it, and it goes back to normal without the update.

But no matter what rom I try to install, I get the little triangle with an exclamation point with the phone below it. I am sure I am missing something. Help a newbie out? Each time the update downloads successfully but after the phone restarts and shows the progress bar unzipping the package it stops halfway and shows the phone with a triangle and a yellow exclamation point.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I reboot my phone, I first see the 3 androids on skateboards and then it goes to a pic of phone with the red exclamation point in a triangle (same as the failed recovery error). I can pull my battery but that does not help. My phone is useless for at least 30-45 minutes. I have pulled my battery up to 20 consecutive times to fix with no avail.
The variables: This is a refurb phone with 2.1 pre-installed. I have tried to root my phone with the whole timing trick, pull card, insert card. This was done a week or two ago. I do not have that file on my card, nor was my rooting successful. I am thinking that my problem is due to the refurb. My dialer lag is way worse than my previous phone. I can make one phone call every hour or so and I can forget calling someone right back if I missed their call. Does the red triangle/exclamation point show an attempt at rooting?
When I turn my tablet on, I get a battery symbol with a triangle around it and exclamation mark in middle.

I've noticed sometimes my Incredible battery indicator stops showing the charging symbol but the orange LED is still lit, and if I go to my About Battery, it says "Discharging" rather than "Charging." I tried charging it and the symbol doesn't change it either. Also, it does not seem to charge. I tried turning my phone on and off...and it doesn't do anything.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm having with my Matrix One tablet. I'm getting an exclamation mark inside of a triangle, inside of a battery icon. The issue started after I let the battery completely die out. I can't get past that screen. When pressing power the battery icon shows up and the tablet shuts down a second later. I tried all button combinations to get into recovery, nothing worked. I've also tried charging the tablet.
There was one thing I managed to do, that was get the tablet to show up on my computer. I held down the update button with a needle and then held the power button until a blue light indicating the tablet was on showed up. The screen was black but my computer detected a new device. My computer didn't find any drivers for the tablet, so I went in search of them myself and couldn't find any. My tablet is A10 compatible, but none of the A10 drivers I found seem to work on my tablet when I go to manually update it through device manager, neither does the PDAnet method I found online.
I was able to find a recovery that works on my device, one that will allow me to reset my tablet, if I'm able to boot into recovery after I get it on my tablet. Now in order to even test the other recovery I need drivers for my device so ADB can detect it and I can push the recovery. My device is already rooted with Superuser updated to the latest build.
I'll add that I've even taken the liberty of opening up the tablet to see if I can disconnect the battery from the board to cut all power, as I'm unable to do that because the batteries are connected by soldered red and black cables.
I use a HTC One. I recently updated it to 4.4.2 with Venom 5.0 But since then it shows ''GSM'' symbol in the Notification bar instead of the ''H''.
Now i'm not knowing if the data is being used or not. My drinks a lot of Data. So how do i get rid of that ''GSM'' symbol and get back ''H'' on the top???
Recently i saw a file [URL] ..... to enable WiFi tethering in nexus7 so rooted correctly and flashed the device with that file i think i made a mistake in this part and then i restarted the device from then it gets hanged in that X symbol.

For example change the symbol Java_com_example1_Method to Java_com_example2_method (dynamic symbol). But I don't have the source code of the native code.The change only replace 1 or 2 chars, so we don't need extra memory allocation.
I have been struggled for 3 days with no results. how to rename the dynamic symbols in elf .so file, and recaculate the .hash section.

I just realized the lack of this feature (or incompatibility) when I tried to call someone and kept getting "your call cannot be completed" message from Verizon.
If Google is trying to target business users they need to get their act straight. The problem is not putting semi column or comma or upside down questionmark to dial extensions, but the issue is the compatibility.
Outlook and most contact management/e-mail systems use X as a divider between main number and extension.
It also makes sense "x" "eXtension". Anyway, I was able to sync all my contact beautifully, only to find out that I cannot call my clients, friends or the companies where I have to dial extensions. I don't remember all their extensions, and I cannot change hundreds of them one by one.
Any way to replace the default "x" for extension in Outlook 2010. Otherwise Android is useless for those calls.
