Recently i saw a file [URL] ..... to enable WiFi tethering in nexus7 so rooted correctly and flashed the device with that file i think i made a mistake in this part and then i restarted the device from then it gets hanged in that X symbol.

Trying to figure this out switched to Google voice after clearing out my voice mail for T-Mobile. It says that there are no messages but the icon wont go away. I've tried clearing from the task bar but it gets rid of everything except the voicemail icon any tips?
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy N1 was sitting on my desk 5 bars 3G and WiFi on. I went to send a text and it failed. Tried a different number and it failed. Tried making phone calls and nothing happened. Turned off the WiFi and noticed I had 5 bars but no 3G or E symbol. I just got a network error when trying to access web pages. I rebooted the phone and it was fine. If this happens I will not know it and miss important calls, sms etc Still got data on the wifi. If this happens again I am going to have to switch back to my trusty iPhone. As much as I want to love the radio software/reception has some serious issues. Based on research on the forums I don't think it is my unit thats faulty esp since a reboot fixed it. I realy hope HTC/Google releases a better radio FW for this device or its going back within the 30 days.

I am thinking it might had hit "un-allocated" memory area, I did have to change the ramdisk_offset from 0x01300000 to 0x02000000 make the kernel fit. what could I do to check to see if it is un-allocated space I am dealing with

I have a samsung galaxy young s6312. My phone has stock android 4.1.2 jellybean. I rooted it with framaroot using gandalf exploit. Its been 2 days since I rooted my phone, and it has freezes four times in these two days. By freezing, I mean that when I am playing a game, it suddenly stops responding and the screen goes black. I have to take the battery out and reinsert it. This never happened to me with my non rooted phone.

Samsung Galaxy 7.0 plus (gt-p6210) will not boot. It hangs at the Samsung banner. The banner is still glowing but it goes nowhere.
I have tried everything.
a. Delete cache (dalvik and otherwise)
b. System wipe.
c. Removed add on sim and repeated above.
I have a rooted ICS (original install via Kies).

If Google is trying to target business users they need to get their act straight. The problem is not putting semi column or comma or upside down questionmark to dial extensions, but the issue is the compatibility.
Outlook and most contact management/e-mail systems use X as a divider between main number and extension.
It also makes sense "x" "eXtension". Anyway, I was able to sync all my contact beautifully, only to find out that I cannot call my clients, friends or the companies where I have to dial extensions. I don't remember all their extensions, and I cannot change hundreds of them one by one.
Any way to replace the default "x" for extension in Outlook 2010. Otherwise Android is useless for those calls.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAt my desk, my 5th gen Ipod Nano's scan function finds 24 perfectly clear stations. The Evo's scan finds NO stations. If I manually tune the stations found by the ipod on the Evo, I can find 9 out of the 24 with acceptable reception. And, the radio app occasionally hangs up while tuning, and must be restarted before it works again. Do I have a defective unit with respect to FM radio, or are they all like this? (not a big deal, since I didn't even know it had FM when I bought it, and I still have the ipod for this purpose.

So I decided to have scrollview and table into it. I set the view using setcontentview which shows loading dialog. then in aysnc task's "doInBackground" method i fetch all articles into the object and then in "onPostExecute" I run a for loop on the object and in each loop i make table row insert article and then insert row into table. and then dismiss loading dialog box.
As i have tabular view in my app and If i remove loading dialog box. While the UI is rendered if someone clicks on other tab. UI is hanged up, After loading all table rows It goes to other tab.
Even after using asynctask why this happens ?

View 1 Replies View Relatedim not sure why or what ive done but when i try and shut the phone down it just hangs at the "shutting down" screen for hours. it went 4 hours lastnight without shutting off. the only way to get it to stop is to pull the batt or it sometimes works to plug it into the computer with the usb cable. ive also noticed that mixzing wont read the sd card, keeps saying memory card is unavailible. could it be the same thing in both cases? the memory card is having issues? ive only had the phone for 2 weeks. i can save to and read from the card when mounted as a disc drive and i can shoot and save pics and videos as well as double twist reading from the card just fine. is there something im missing? this is driving me nuts im on telus, android 2.1, not rooted or modified in any way.

This is only to check the call, but it didtn work.
the subscribe method works, when i comment out the line with the inputstream, the server show me all is correct. I can try the same with the Firefox and it works and i can see the request. i also put the keystore into the TrustManager.
