Feb 6, 2013 i unrooted my DHD then attempted to reroot it using "Advanced Ace Hack Kit", it was going well untill it go to the 2nd reboot where it freezes at the htc logo.
i can get into the boot loader but when trying to go to recovery i get the exclamation point.

Apr 13, 2013I recently rooted my Xperia Pro and after I finally did it, I have a problem now. The mobile internet isn't working. I can activate it, but the E- H- or 3G-symbol isn't shown and the internet doesn't work. I read in another forum, that my APN-Settings may be wrong, so I tried going to "Settings > More... > Mobile Networks > Accespoints", but this menu is empty. I only see the headline "APNs", that's it...
I deleted some apps, perhaps that's the problem, but I did a backup of the system/app folder. If that's the problem, perhaps you can tell me the app I need to reinstall...

Apr 23, 2012I just bought a unlocked galaxy note and I had to to get my access point names right so I could use my data form AT&T. I'm ready to rooted my phone and flash a ics firmware (rom) on my samsung galaxy note N-7000. when I flash, will my access point names be ok. I've already went ahead and copy on paper the way they are now so I wont lose them.
P.S. Your access point names are how you get your data from your cell phone provider such as at&t, sprint, boost mobile, etc etc. It has nothing to do with your wi-fi.

So far every view I set up worked fine, but now I am trying to create a ListView (including single_choice_mode) within a child view of the ViewFlipper, but my attempt only let to a NullPointerException. As I only discovered ViewFlipper today, I am not yet familiar with it and may not have understood it completely. if someone could give me a hand and help me find out what I have done wrong, that would be great. Jan 16, 2014Yesterday I've upgraded my Alcatel OT-997, ICS 4.0.4. with Kuano's TWRP and now it's:
Alcatel OT-997D, JB 4.1.1. - (details in this thread, 5th post) [URL] D means I can now use two SIM cards, which is cool.
The problem is the damn thing doesn't charge when it's turned on. It shows the lightning bolt over the battery icon, but in settings shows that charger is not connected. However, when it's turned off it charges, normally. I tried different settings in USB menu: Mass storage, MTP, Camera mode and Charge. Tried with and without Debugging mode. All of those work when connected to a computer in the sense that I can use internal storage, access both SD cards, and so on. But it doesn't charge.
I have tried 3 different cables, 3 wall outlets, and 2 PCs so it's not that. I suppose it's not a hardware problem otherwise it wouldn't charge properly when it's turned off.
So now I use schedule to turn it off before I go to sleep, and to turn on before I wake up, so it would charge while I'm sleeping.

I mostly charge it by plugging it into my laptop via the usb cable and very few times via wall socket. I was wondering does slow charging via "usb on laptop" damages/degrades battery life? May 25, 2012I have had the issue of plugging the phone it at around 9pm when going to bed and it charging to 100% the next morning at around 7:30-8am but as soon as i unplug the charger it drops from 100% to 99 to 97%? Im using the battery circle app to monitor my battery %. I have "calibrated" the battery by using the phone until it shuts it self off then charging it to 100% while its off then unplug it and turn it on and then plugging it back in.
Usually i will get between 15-19+ hours on normal use if i unplug it and plug it back up when it drops suddenly to 9-% in the mornings but if i dont ill get somewhere around 13 hours of life. is there something wrong with the phone, battery or charger?

Oct 22, 2013N9500 . It is recognized by the PC ONLY if i deselect DEBUG USB and re-select again. It will never charge. If i connect to pc when turned off, it will get stuck in the first image (the one with Battery and Lightning, but won't go through the second image (animation of battery "filled up" and battery percentage) At beginning i thought about an hardware problem, but these 2 strange behaviours give me the idea of something software inside the phone that's not working in the right way.
