Dec 21, 2013is it possible to have a lock screen where you slide the screen itself rather than have a slide bar? similar to windows phone?

Android :: Able To Unlock My Incredible Using WidgetLocker
Jul 23, 2010Am I supposed to be able to unlock my Incredible using WidgetLocker simply by pressing the Home button? Mine unlocks without needing to swipe when I press home. It kind of defeats the purpose if I can unlock it while it is in my pocket.

Aug 1, 2010I just learned about this app in THIS THREAD, and I really like the concept.The problem is that I can't get another slider to save to WidgetLocker custom unlock screen.I long-press the screen, tap on Widgets, tap Custom Slider, adjust the settings and tap on Save.But then the new slider never appears.I can add any other widget, no problem just not a custom slider.PLEASE do not hijack this thread with the pros and cons of using a lock-pattern.I've had a cell phone since 1992, and have never lost a cell phone.I'm not about to lose my precious DROID.

May 7, 2013I recently downloaded the application Widgetlocker so I could modify my lockscreen. After installing the application and setting up my home screen, I noticed that whenever I quick access my camera from the lockscreen it prompts me for my password. With the stock lockscreen on my HTC One, it would normally just launch the camera without asking for my password.
know if there is a setting in widgetlocker to allow this?
General :: WidgetLocker Not Replacing Default Lockscreen
Feb 8, 2011I like using WidgetLocker and it's been working generally well until I realized it does not replace the default lockscreen. After my 3 minute screen timeout for my Droid 2 to lock up, I have to unlock using WidgetLocker and then the default lockscreen. Is there a way so that I do not see the default lockscreen itself? BTW, I am using a pattern lock.

The couple such as brightness and sound that are built in can just be changed in the theme but with making extra working toggle icon.
For instance, widget locker doesn't have a wifi action, I can use a Tasker Shortcut to switch the wifi on and off, just need a way for the icon to change with it.
HTC Incredible :: Dinc Camera Bezel
May 12, 2010just wonder if you all could take a quick look at your camera bezels around the lens for me. when i look at mine, in the top leftish part there is a small gap between the lens and the bezel. almost like the bezel it self is not completly round. seems like enough space for dust or foreign matter to get in. is it just mine? are all your glass flush on the bezel? just don't seem right. if i take the battery cover off, and press down on the bezel it makes it flush.. but is the bezel supposed to float like that? you think htc would just mail me a new bezel to stick on there? it only seems to be held on with glue of some sort. does any of this make sense at all?i have now put a small dent in the bezel from putting slight pressure on it with my finger nail.

Jul 18, 2010This O ring glued to the phones battery cover will stop broken lens' for good! The reason why the glass cracks is direct pressure to the red bezel. With this O ring it can not happen all the shock force is now on the battery cover not the lens.

Nov 12, 2010Does anyone use chompSMS with widgetlocker?I have it so the quickreply sms popup lights up my phone and appears on my lock screen, but after about 4 seconds the screen goes blank again so i dont always spot it.Is there a way to get it to stay lit up for longer? Ive looked in settings for everything i can think of and the only scrren timeout ove got is 1min but think im missing something.. I guess the best thing would be for it to stay lit with the popup on screen for 30-secs or so, but also locked so i dont reply when its in my pocket.i also use launcher but this is sto to not override any screen timeouts.

Jan 30, 2014I want to have the dashclock to show collapsed view on my lockscreen, the one with the clock/date on the left and three notifications (battery, weather, missed calls/sms/etc) on the right. but when I add it to the lockscreen it always goes into expanded view. seems like it's a widgetlocker problem because dashclock collapsed works just fine on homescreen.

Aug 15, 2010Today I rebooted my phone and LauncherPro got stuck starting, only displaying a window in the top left corner, like it couldn't finish rendering the preview screen, and it never starts on that anyway. I was totally stuck without access to the menu buttons but still had the notification for WidgetLocker, so I was able to get to that, unlock it, restart the Moto launcher, and disable WidgetLocker. Now that it's disabled, I seem to be able to make LauncherPro my home again, but it looks like I'll have to disable WidgetLocker, which I really liked.Not sure what else could be causing the problem - probably something to do with WidgetLocker's home launcher sub-app.

Nov 24, 2010I just installed widgetlocker and am having a play round with it. I've set up the widgets no probs.i'm enjoying customising.
1. If I have pattern lock enabled in the settings, when I unlock from widgetlocker, the next screen is the stock lock screen then the pattern lock screen. If i disable the pattern lock, when I unlock widgetlocker the phone is unlocked and there is no stock lock screen.I want to have widgetlocker then pattern lock - NO stock lock please.
2. When I click on a widget on widgetlocker that opens up an app (example audio manager), the next screen is the stock lock screen then the app.Again i don't want to see the stock lock. I was hoping it would open the app, then once closed go back to widgetlocker lock screen.
3. When a call has ended, the phone goes to the stock lock screen. Again same problem.I thought the whole point of widget locker would replace the stock lock screen. But it pops up all over. Of tried my best with the settings,
The main one is with the pattern lock, vital for phone security. But i dont want to have two lock screens and a pattern lock.

I searched about nexus since it is similar and saw a few things about the app LOCKBOT, i recommend you atleast try the free version and see, it gives you unlock with the trackpad button and the ability to do custom lockscreen with different styles like Iphone, and different android locks. THis was one grip i didnt like about sense. Stock Android has the ability to swipe to unlock or swipe the other way to mute sounds, which is a nice feature, although i prefer my iphones switch the best
The bad...Ive read stuff about it crashing and being laggy, now i havnt experiended this on the INC, it runs super smooth. But i have been having a few times where the front button will not unlock the phone, maybe an update will fix this or something, but its worth a shot to look at.

General :: Unlock To Last App Used
Jun 23, 2013On my iOS devices, when I unlock my screen it opens to the last app I had open. When I unlock my Nexus4 (version 4.2.2), it just launches to home screen. I have widget locker running as my lock, but there's no option within that to open to last app open, what's going on? And how can I get it to behave so that unlocking keeps me n the same place I left off?
