General :: Samsung Chargers Slow Charging

May 20, 2014

I just got my Samsung ETA-U90EWE charger (US plug) from eBay and when I use it to charge my Note 2 it shows that it delivers 1698mAh of current into the phone. However, when I use the ETA-U90UWE (UK plug) that comes with the phone, it also displays the same input current, but with the UK one, it charges much faster.

Note: In both cases, I use the same USB cable which came with the phone and both charger delivers the same 2A current at 5V.

Sprint HTC Hero :: Slow Phone Done - Freeze All Time

I am just wondering if it is possible to put live wall papers without custom rom? I am rooted, I have tried the new fresh and older versions, they slow my phone done, and it freezes all the time. I am on a rooted/stock version on 2.1 and would like to use live wall papers still? Do I have a chance? I don't want to just flash one of the lwp updates from the rom section without asking here.

General :: Phone Charging SLOW And Draining QUICK?

Mar 16, 2014

I updated my phone 2 days ago. Ever since then, I noticed that my phone takes a ridiculous amount of time to charge. 8 hours to get it to 85%??? Even all night it it didn't manage to get to 100%. It's only been 3 hours since I unplugged the phone and I'm at 35% battery.

I've tried a restart, reboot (battery pull) and even factory reset! Nothing is working.

I have another issue too that may or may not be related to this issue regarding hidden photos..

HTC Incredible :: Need Solution For 2.2 Slow Charging

Sep 3, 2010

My phone charges very slowly if I plug in the charger while the phone is on, but if I turn it off for a minute with the charger plugged in and then turn my phone back on, the charge rate reverts to what I experienced under 2.1 which will fully charge the battery from 20% in about 1.5 to 2 hours. Much better than the 15-20% per hour I was experiencing after updating to 2.2. It seems to charge almost as fast as if i had turned the phone off and left it off.

Motorola Droid X :: Charging Time And USB 2.0

Nov 26, 2010

I had the original droid and now a droid X. Normally when charging either of them it takes like 2+ hours to fully charge from a low charge. Tonight I was at a friends house and I took out this new cord I bought at walmart that came with a universal usb car charger. My droid was on 20% and within 20-30 minutes it charged to full! I'm almost positive the computer was charging it via usb 2.0. Now I have usb 2.0 on my home computers but it always takes 2-3 hours to charge. I went home and went from a 70% charge to 100% in minutes via this "new" cord and not using the cord that came with the droid. Is it possible the cord with the droid only will charge at a certain rate and this new cord is charging much much faster or enabling usb 2.0 instead of 1.0 or 1.1? It would be great to not have to charge my droid all night long all the time. Also is there a way to know if your droid is charging via usb 1.0, 1.1, or 2.0 or even usb 3.0? Does this make a difference with charging times?

Android :: Emulator Is Very Slow And Consuming CPU Time?

Oct 10, 2009

few weeks ago I encountered a problem. My Android SDK 1.5 emulator became very slow and CPU consuming. This happened earlier, but was irregular just removing AVDs usually helped. Few weeks ago I installed Android SDK 1.6, tried to move my dev environment there and noticed that emulator runs very slowly. I rolled back to 1.5 and noticed that the same problem is there. What's going on: - emulator startup is pretty slow; - sometimes emulator hangs on startup; - sometimes after startup is complete I see Force close/Wait dialog for some Android applications/services (Alarm clock, messaging) - applications inside the emulator run MUCH slower than they ran before, I see delays in response even in launcher, when I just switching between icons with arrow keys (at this time CPU usage according to the task manager is from 35 to 50%, i.e. one core is completely busy). - now, when I'm typing this message, emulator (clean, newly created AVD, I haven't installed nothing there, just out of the box) occupied 50% of my CPU (and 140MB of RAM). Hardware: Intel Core2Duo T7500 (2.2GHz) + 2GB RAM. OS: Vista I don't have any problems with 1.6 on Linux (Kubuntu 7.10), emulator starts quickly, responds in a flash, and seldom consumes more than 20% of CPU time (usually in case my application is working with DB).

HTC EVO 4G :: Phone Running Slow / Everything Has Loading Time

Oct 22, 2010

Ive had my evo since day one.Absolutely love it.It's just that within the last month it's been taking awhile to open anything.If I click on mail it seems as though it stalls for awhile, then "loading" screen then it opens.Same thing with the messenger to check my text.Again with the loading screen which stays open longer than it use to. Ive tried to reboot here and there but it doesn't seem to make any difference.I just miss the way my phone use to run and open everything up so quickly.Im not complaining, if this is normal than o.k.I can wait a few more seconds.Is it that I have too many apps.Ive used up most of my space on my sd card, is that it?I have my phone stock.Is it time to root and will this solve my problem?

I am a little turned off because if the GPS is turned on this problem should not occur. When I try an set the time to my home location instead of current location, it does not allow me to click it.

Samsung EPIC 4G :: Poor Battery Charging Time

Sep 23, 2010

I am coming to the conclusion that the poor battery charge time is a result of the batteries and not the phone. The reason I believe this to be true is: I purchased the charger that comes with a spare battery and it takes a good 3-4 hours to charge in that, with no phone attached. Batteries in my previous phones would take an hour to fully charge in a dedicated charger. I bet when Seidio comes out with batteries for this phone, we will see much better charge times and possibly better battery life.

HTC Hero : Wi-Fi Connecting Very Slow

I seem to have a problem when trying to connect the Hero to the Internet via Wi-Fi.

It seems to take an age to connect sometimes up to a minute to make connection. Wheras if connect via 3G etc it connects via automatically.

I am using the Wi-Fi widget to connect & disconnect if that makes any difference.

This is also NOT just happening at home but at other locations where I have connected via Wi-Fi before.

These are all secured connections that I am trying to make.

In contrast my wife has an N1 & this connects to the Wi-Fi at home virtually instantly.

General :: Determine Current Time Is Between Two Other Time Objects?

Dec 28, 2012

How can I determine if the current time is between two other time objects?

For example: current: 15:23, startTime: 22:00, endTime: 06:00. So the current time is not between this two other times, but this "23:47" is.

*I don't care about the date, only the time

I tried to do it like this:

Code:

Time startTime = getStartTime();
Time endTime = getEndTime();
Calendar c = Calendar.getInstance();
Time now = new Time(c.getTimeInMillis());

[Code]...

but it dosen't work well. their aren't any errors but it just dosen't work.

To be more precise the problem is that 15:35.after(22:00) return true... and I don't know why. I think that the problem is something with the dates but I don't know what
