HTC Incredible :: How To Increase Slow Charging?
May 3, 2010I noticed today that it is taking FOREVER to charge my phone. Has anyone else seen really slow charging? I'm connected usb to my computer but "Charge only" in settings.

HTC Incredible :: Need ROM To Increase Charging
Sep 29, 2010So I made the mistake of trying to drive 80 mints using my DInc as a GPS unit. Drained about 25% of my battery. On the way back I didn't use GPS, but had BT turned on. In 80 mints it charged my battery 5%. With 2.1 and this same charger I didn't have this problem. My problem there was that the battery got really hot and stopped charging. I fixed this by simply mounting the thing in front of an A/C vent. Problem solved. Now Froyo has "fixed" this overheating issue by making the phone not charge so fast so it's now basically useless as a GPS unit IMO. Is there a ROM out there that fixes this charging issue?

Sep 3, 2010My phone charges very slowly if I plug in the charger while the phone is on, but if I turn it off for a minute with the charger plugged in and then turn my phone back on, the charge rate reverts to what I experienced under 2.1 which will fully charge the battery from 20% in about 1.5 to 2 hours. Much better than the 15-20% per hour I was experiencing after updating to 2.2. It seems to charge almost as fast as if i had turned the phone off and left it off.

Mar 25, 2010Can anyone use Google Voice on their Moment? When I get an incoming call, it takes so long for the call to come through that by the time I try to press 1 to accept the call, its going to voicemail.
I've tried it several times and its physically impossible to answer the phone, listen to who's calling, get the number pad to come up (after waiting for the screen to wake up) and press 1 before it sends the caller to voicemail.
I really like this phone, but its lag is wearing on me (and I'm running one of Joeykrim's speedy kernals). I hope it speeds up with the upgrade to 2.1. If not I might have to switch to a Blackberry (blasphemy!! ) until Sprint comes out with a faster Android phone.
General :: Samsung Chargers Slow Charging
May 20, 2014I just got my Samsung ETA-U90EWE charger (US plug) from eBay and when I use it to charge my Note 2 it shows that it delivers 1698mAh of current into the phone. However, when I use the ETA-U90UWE (UK plug) that comes with the phone, it also displays the same input current, but with the UK one, it charges much faster.
Note: In both cases, I use the same USB cable which came with the phone and both charger delivers the same 2A current at 5V.
General :: Charging Very Slow Good Or Bad For Battery Life?
Dec 20, 2012before too charge my galaxy note 2 takes just 2 and half hours, but yesterday I changed to new charger cable that is longer and maybe the material made its now good, the phone took 5 hour to charge, now I want to know charging phone very slow is good for the battery life?

Mar 16, 2014I updated my phone 2 days ago. Ever since then, I noticed that my phone takes a ridiculous amount of time to charge. 8 hours to get it to 85%??? Even all night it it didn't manage to get to 100%. It's only been 3 hours since I unplugged the phone and I'm at 35% battery.
I've tried a restart, reboot (battery pull) and even factory reset! Nothing is working.
I have another issue too that may or may not be related to this issue regarding hidden photos..

Jun 16, 2010I downloaded "Android System Info" and it shows my RAM is at 8%. How do I increase that short of turning the phone off and then back on? I would assume this is why my phone slows down as the day goes on...?

I don't feel like I have that many apps installed, and I don't feel like HTC gives enough space for apps on the phone, when there is 8 gigs on board space. This, and the ability to connect to Ad-Hoc wifi connections would be the only reason why I would root.

May 20, 2010The EVO looks like a sweet phone, and if they ever bring it to Verizon with some LTE love, I'll probably buy one, but does anyone wish that they increased the resolution of the screen just a little to take advantage of that big 4.3" display? Sep 20, 2010My Incredible has appropriate volume for phone calls, but when I plug in my earbuds, to listen to podcasts, etc., the volume is much too low. Does anybody know of any way to increase the volume when using earbuds? I do have the volume key set all the way to high, but for music and podcasts it doesn't make it.

It seems kinda pointless to notify for only 5 minutes especially if you are away from your phone or did not hear any notifiers. After 5 minutes you will still need to unlock the phone to check for something. I have just moved from the Motorola Droid to the Incredible and noticed that the Droid's LED notification blinked until the message was open regardless of that duration. Any ideas?

May 10, 2010Here is a little trick I discovered recently. If you have a later model BMW with the USB port that you would either plug in the iPod connector or a USB stick, if you plug your Incredible in you will be able to charge that phone through the port, negating the need for a separate cigarette lighter charger. This may work on other cars with a USB port, but your mileage may vary.Additionally, you could set up your music folder and playlists directory on the Incredible's internal storage to use it for music playback. Unfortunately on my 2008 X5 with the "single button" iDrive, it only reads the internal storage memory, and not the SD card.

Jul 30, 2010I found that my Dinc is working slower than before. For example, it takes 2 seconds to load "people". I have only 400 contacts there. When I press call, it takes 1 second to go to the dialing mode.
I have only 40 MB memory left on my phone.
Is it normal? It is supposed to have a fast processor. If not, how can I address this issue?
