All of a sudden I got a very annoying application dock showing on my screen (it's to the left in the screenshots).
I have never seen/heard about it before and I dislike it very much.
Can I turn it off?

BUT now I want the bluetooth to automatically turn on when it's docked.
I did a search here and the only thing I found was to buy Locale - and as of late the reviews are less than stellar for a $10 app.

For a project we are working at in school, we will need to find a way to turn OFF/ON the USB port of a tablet (running 4.1) from an application that we have to develop. Our thema is to control OFF/ON the 5V DC power (output) by a predefined schedule.

View 3 Replies View Relatedi have an HTC Incredible. when i was using a Moto Droid i was using GDE with it. one thing i really liked from GDE was the scrolling application dock widgets. i would simply use GDE on my Inc but i do also like sense and all of the sense widgets. it would be great if somebody, or even the maker of GDE would make an app that is just like the application dock from GDE that would work on any launcher including sense.i've looked at Ultimate Faves and it's nothing like it. there was something kinda similar that i had tried but it wasn't close enough. it had buttons instead of just dragging and scrolling.
View 4 Replies View RelatedInteresting thing is that I was playing around with the Car Dock app and decided to add some Favorite Tel Numbers to that screen you see after hitting the Call Button. I added one favorite and it was fine, however I added a second favorite and the screen closed and now when I click on the Calling button in the Car Dock app it does nothing. I am not even sure if this is something I can reinstall as I can't find it in the Market. With Android can you delete an app such as this and reinstall it? I am guessing that would be my fix. I definitely don't want to do a factory reset. Can I somehow delete the data file associated with that app to clean things up. Sorry I have experience with OS but I am new to Android. Just picked up the Droids when it came out and am really loving it up to this point. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
View 2 Replies View RelatedI finally bought the Motorola car dock and car charger for when I'm traveling this thanksgiving. The only problem is that the "Car Home" app sucks big time. I can't change the navigation app to Aura, I can't change the music player, I can't move or change the default apps on the home screen, and I can't even change the wallpaper. Sucks Big Time. Is there a better app for when the phone is docked in the car?? All I want to do is change the default GPS app, add and remove apps, move icons, and change the wallpaper....lol, is that to much to ask? I don't know if it matters but I'm running ApeX V1.0, NexTheme, and LaucherPro Plus. Please say there is a better alternative.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Link to screenshot. The M in the white circle is my default icon. If you view the screenshot, you'll see it appears twice. I turned off the notifcation for the gmail app but cant seem to find where i can unistall it or turn it off in a sense. Basically my emails are being sent both to k9 and gmail app.

I have the phone in the cradle, in the back of the cradle they have a battery, and then the cord is plugged into a wall adaptor (the ones shown on ebay) that is holding a spare battery.It took awfully long to charge and not end up fully charged.I know the Innodock Jr from Seidio which I had would have been fully charged, hours earlier..when I asked which one of two cradles to get, it was pointed out that any cradles advertised to do the same things, i.e. case compatible and dual purpose, will be the same quality, just get the cheaper one.
Or could it be due to the device dividing power up three ways (excuse my lack of Electrical knowledge) charging the wall charger, the battery back of the cradle, and the phone itself?
I just got this app called Android Taskbar which is a widget that adds a taskbar type window for your homescreen. Its pretty nifty so far, but honestly, it'd look so much better if I could add this widget button that opens the taskbar/start menu onto my dock. I'm running LauncherPro Plus, and it doesn't allow widget buttons on the dock.

View 6 Replies View Relatedwhen i goto manage applications, i select the dock mode, and its offers to clear the cache, etc... but there is no option to delete it or uninstall it, or disable it.
my phone constantly goes into the docking screen, constantly, i dont want the mode at all.
Every time I put my S3 on the Samsung dock and it goes into dock mode, it shows the temp in my area of 47 degrees no matter if that's true or not. It says it pulls its data from AccuWeather, and when I check there the temp is correct. But no matter what is ALWAYS says 47 degrees when in dock mode.
Does there something I need to do for the correct temp to pass through?
there is a way to customize your Android dock device with minimalistic text such as the picture shown at the GooglePlay store.
