General :: Sending MMS To Multiple Friends?

I'm using Go SMS as my default message app on my Droid 2. When I send a picture to more than one contact, everyone I sent it to gets any response any one does to the message. This is obviously not cool.
I can't find an option to turn that off, I'd never even heard of such a feature before. Not sure if that is an Android thing or just my app. I want to continue using this app but I'm not going to send a picture to umpteen different people 1 at a time.

Frustrated! I am receiving all my texts from different people under one thread. Then, when I reply to the last person who texted me under that thread, it goes to the first person on the thread and not the person intended. Went to the Sprint store the first time this happened, they did a hard reset and that worked for a couple of days but having same problem again. Tried disabling my task manager but that didn't help this problem either. I downloaded Handcent and disabled Hero's text messaging but no luck with that. Please help....ready to throw this phone against the wall. Has anyone else had this problem? Anybody know how to fix this problem?

Is there a way for sending a single message to multiple recipients for the message to be placed inside the conversation for each individual instead of creating a new thread for that one message?
I downloaded the Handcent App and even it does the same thing as the stock app. It appears there's an option to split the message up as described when sent to a group. But it still creates the new thread whenever sending to individual names.

What I need is i have pre-defined list of 10 people and I need to send text message (sms only not mms) to them from time to time. There is no Chat needed, no MMS, no threading. Only sending sms to a list. I tried GoSMS, Handcet.. but couldnt achieved.

I have a question if you type multiple people from your contacts list will each person see that it is going to multiple people or do they just think they are the only one getting it?My old phone, Env2, everyone could see who I was sending it to like the actual phone numbers, and I hated that.I use ChompSMS also but my questions is really about the stock app.

is there an easy way to send a batch of photos to my PC by bluetooth? I've just done some through the album app, but I had to do them one at a time which was painful. Ideally I'm looking for an interface where you can select the pics by thumbnail and then tell the phone to transfer all the selected ones.

I did a search on the forum and a search on google and failed. I want to send two pictures to a friend of mine via texting. I can only select one picture through handcent. Is there an app out there that can help? I thought I read about one, but I can't seem to find it again. Or am I just failing at finding the right commands to do it?

I am basically trying to send more then one image at once through text message is that possible? I know of slideshows but how do i go about creating one and sending it through text message.
I also tried using the search engine on this forum and not a great one in my opinion compare to other search engines i have used in car forums. So if there is already a thread just like the one i have create please redirect me and close my thread Mods.

I spent a while searching for the answer but had no luck...
When I take a pic that I want to share, I'll tap "Share".
There, I will access the field to enter an email address that I want to send the photo to. If I have multiple people to send it to, do I have to type in each individual address, or is there a way to access my contact list somewhere so I can simply go through and select/click recipients?

I am developing a microblogging platform in which I need to populate the page with Post (user defined class with fields) obtained from the Django server using HttpGet.In the client side(Android) I am using GSON to parse the responses from server to the type Post. So I require that server should send Post's one by one so as to add each of them to a list of Posts after parsing and then finally notifying the list adapter of changes in the data set after all Post's have been added.But the problem coming when intially loading the application, the page has to be populated with 10 latest Post's from the server. So I thought of a rather dirty way of sending 10 httpget requests to the server one after the other to the server. The code looks like this.I was thinking of executing it 10 times in a loop to get the 10 Post's I require. But in Django as far I know (correct me if I am wrong) there's no way to keep an index of the last sent Post to the client and so no way to send the 'next' Post on the next HttpGet request. So I am out of ideas.I feel there's a better way to do this efficiently.

I've been sending SMS messages just fine, however recently I tried sending a text message to two contacts, and one of them never received anything. However when trying to send a message to that same person only, it worked fine.

I've been using Handcent since I've had my Desire, but since the last few updates it seems to have developed a fault when sending the same sms message to multiple contacts. If I send a message to say 3 people, it either force closes, or comes up with the error message not sent. If it comes up with the latter, the messages are queued & sent 1 after the other. I was able to do this no problem before, so has anyone else experienced this in Handcent?

I'm unable to tag friends while using the Facebook app for Android, whether it's in Check-Ins, statuses, comments, or any of that stuff.
When I try doing it by using the "+" icon, it says "Unable to load friends list" (something like that) and then when I try using the "@" symbol, nothing shows up. It used to work perfectly fine, even with this version of the app. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling... Wiping cache, and even different ROMs. Could this be a gingerbread bug? I'm using a T-Mobile G2x, with the latest CM7.3 nightly build.

I recently made the switch from windows phone 8 to the HTC One and I am really missing the people hub or groups feature of windows phone. It allowed me to put some of my contacts into groups. For example, I had 2 groups, 1 for family and 1 for friends. In these groups, it collected all the facebook, twitter, and other social feeds of those people and put them all together.
I really liked this feature because I could easily look at filtered social feeds for certain people without having to flip through each app separately. I often saw posts/tweets that I would have otherwise missed.
Is there a similar app or feature on Android that would give me this functionality? I have yet to find it.

New to Android and trying figure hangouts little. I am already setup in it, am I required to "add" my friends/family to it before I can do texting and such?
On my phone, I know with the Kitkat update it wants to use Google hangouts. I have not set it to use it as it keeps saying I need to add everyone in people to hangouts.
I want to make sure I am going to spam my friends and family to join hangouts as they are not on it and do not want too.

I have a sprint galaxy s3 and I'm having issues with words with friends. anytime i have a move to play, it displays it as an ongoing notification in the drop down box. i have never had issues until i updated to jellybean. it is getting annoying because i cant clear it and i notice a huge drain on my battery.
the weird thing about this is that my wife has the same phone with the same version of WWF and updated to jellybean the same way, but her notifications are not ongoing and can be cleared. there is no way to change this in the application manager in device settings or physical settings with WWF. all i can do is turn the notifications on or off. i have cleared data, force stopped it, uninstalled it, installed previous versions, and even rooted my s3 and am running synergy rom, but still no luck.

I have a friend who is added to my Desire's contact list.
1. He is on my Facebook contact. (His facebook pic appears in my Desire contact list)
2. He is my Gmail contact as well.
3. He is added as a 'Phone Contact' as well.
I sent him a text few days ago but don't remember if it was using facebook or my phone (network provider sms) but now when I go in to 'Messages' and send him a message, I just can't figure out if I am sending him a message via Facebook or to his mobile number.

I have an HTC Incredible and it worked fine, but I accidentally took facebook off the sync list, I put it back on and logged on. When I use the facebook app everything is fine, but the people apt thinks I have no facebook friends and so I can't sync any of them to my contact list!

I have the HTC Incredible and use the Facebook app. Yesterday I added a new friend and she doesn't show up on my friend list in the Facebook app and I can't link her phone number with her profile because it doesn't show up. Any ideas? I've tried resyncing and restarting the phone. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

When I create a contact on the phone and assign a group, there are TWO 'friends' and TWO 'family' groups. All the contacts I setup from my GMail account show up in one 'friends' or one 'family' group. The duplicate groups are both empty. I went to an area where I can delete groups but the empty 'friends' and 'family' groups cannot be deleted. However, it looks like the groups I setup at GMail (where all my contacts are in) CAN be deleted. I'd rather not delete those groups because then those contacts will probably no longer be in a group, and the GMail/GContacts distinction will probably be lost. The reason this is annoying is because when I create a new friend contact from the phone I don't know which 'friends' group to add it to. Has anyone else noticed this? Checking my GContacts only shows one 'friends' group and one 'family 'group', but the way.

I have an HTC EVO and I'm having trouble downloading photos sent by friends via SMS.I'm not too electronic savvy so I'm assuming when pictures are sent it's SMS, but they won't download. I get a notification in my pull down menu that says "download failed" or something along those lines.

How do I distribute my app to some friends who have G1s (yea, I'm looking at you, Scott!) for QA testing and feedback? My app certainly isn't ready to be put into any of the marketplaces. I don't have a problem giving out the source code, but I'd prefer to give him a nice binary file to install. Besides, I can see problems with keystore.debug and compiling and the like.
