is there an easy way to send a batch of photos to my PC by bluetooth? I've just done some through the album app, but I had to do them one at a time which was painful. Ideally I'm looking for an interface where you can select the pics by thumbnail and then tell the phone to transfer all the selected ones.

When I take a pic that I want to share, I'll tap "Share".
There, I will access the field to enter an email address that I want to send the photo to. If I have multiple people to send it to, do I have to type in each individual address, or is there a way to access my contact list somewhere so I can simply go through and select/click recipients?
Anybody have any thoughts why handcent will not send out a pic? I tried with the pre-installed messaging app and it went through fine. Is there any setting I may be missing with handcent.I checked the settings option and found nothing. It tells me it is resizing and everything, and it has worked in the past. I'd really prefer to use handcent, but will switch to the other if need be I guess.

My wife and I used to communicate primarily through BBM frequently sending pictures. Now that we've switched to Android/GTalk we're really missing the ability to send pictures in the chat. I'd like to avoid using any text/picture messages since she's the only one I message on a regular basis and I can't justify spending an additional 5/10/20 dollars just for the convenience of sending pictures using the built in message app.My only real requirement is that the app have the ability to send pictures in the chat. Pictures can be viewed outside of the app, but should be downloadable from the app. It can use any existing IM network out there, that's not a concern. Push is not a feature I care about either.I already did a bit of searching on this forum and the internet. A few push style apps showed up but their quality seems marginal at best. I found it surprising that nothing fit my requirements, but maybe I missed something. I also tried both Meebo and eBuddy without success, though I limited my testing to AIM and GTalk.

But I dont txt much if ever..I dont really care about photos or vids all I need is a phone to use for phoneing people and it would be nice to be able to check my email and get on the web alittle. I also carry a Blackberry PDA that I use alot. I would love to be able to buy an all in one PDA and phone/web serfing thing. The main things it must do is have what my PDA calls a To Do list. I can make a note there like (order 25 cases of white wine for joes restaurant) and it will record the not with the day and time I wrote it. Then laster once i have placed the order i can go back and change the not to read (ordered 25 cases white wone for joes restaurant) and it will update the time and date. Then once the order arives I can move the note to a Done box where it will let me know I have done this task and it will record when I completed it. So does anyone know of a app for Driod that does this?

View 13 Replies View RelatedSending pics and videos to a site for sharing is pretty easy. Now this is considering you have Photobucket and You Tube. Couldn't tell you about others. Basically after setting up your accounts with them, the camera software will send the pics to them thru the "share" option. Videos require a Wi-Fi connection. The new You Tube now does HD video, so they show up in high-quality 720p. Pretty much easy as can be. Sent a 15mb video in about a minute or so. Thought that was darn good.
View 8 Replies View RelatedEvery time I try to send a picture in a text message, it tries to convert it to a slideshow. Is there any way to turn this off? Whenever I try sending one picture as a slideshow, the recipient (even if they have a similar Verizon phone, like the Droid) can't see it. It never used to do that, but I don't see a setting that will allow me to just send the picture without making it a slideshow.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI love my sprint hero, but am on the fence about sprint itself tons of people have told me how they hated sprints service, customer service, etc..my wife and I thought the ability to send pics via messaging is a cool feature however it doesn't appear to work all that well.have tried the built in and also handcent messaging. am connected currently via my wifi at home and that doesn't help either. i realize there are probably size restrictions ( size anyone) but it should work sometimes.also the voice record feature on handsentend feature doesn't work either.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI am having a problem sending pictures with the gmail widget on my eris. I take the picture and attach it to an email composed with the gmail widget. However, when the recipient (and my own gmail account to test) receives the email, the pictures are not viewable. They just appear as a red "x". I can send the same email from the phone to my hotmail account and the pictures show up fine. I have tried different resolution sizes, but with the same result. I have accessed gmail through the phone's browser to try to send the attachments that way, but cannot see that there is an option to include attachments. It is pretty frustrating to use a gmail widget to have the pictures not appear when sent to my own gmail account. Then to check my hotmail account and see that the pictures appear fine.

On my messenger app it reads the time stamp after it 'digests' it, but on the other three phones the pics don't show up (sometimes they do, but more often they do not). I'm testing against 2 ATT Go Phones (and verified texting works b/c they charge me for each tex) and 1 iphone. What gives?I notice (so far) reliability is much improved if I turn WiFi off
View 7 Replies View RelatedI did the 2.1 upgrade and camera seems to have same lagginess. Does anyone have any pointers for how to set camera for responsive pics (I have a 2 year old)? I remember seeing some tips when I first got the phone last year and it helped...I'm having no luck my own. Also, when I go to send a pic with text, it is compressing the pics very small and the quality goes to crap. Went into text setting and set the file size to the largest, but it doesn't seem to help.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am developing a microblogging platform in which I need to populate the page with Post (user defined class with fields) obtained from the Django server using HttpGet.In the client side(Android) I am using GSON to parse the responses from server to the type Post. So I require that server should send Post's one by one so as to add each of them to a list of Posts after parsing and then finally notifying the list adapter of changes in the data set after all Post's have been added.But the problem coming when intially loading the application, the page has to be populated with 10 latest Post's from the server. So I thought of a rather dirty way of sending 10 httpget requests to the server one after the other to the server. The code looks like this.I was thinking of executing it 10 times in a loop to get the 10 Post's I require. But in Django as far I know (correct me if I am wrong) there's no way to keep an index of the last sent Post to the client and so no way to send the 'next' Post on the next HttpGet request. So I am out of ideas.I feel there's a better way to do this efficiently.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOn my old phone (HTC Imagio) you would select "Share" and then it would pop back to the album where you could touch the thumbs for the pics you wanted to upload. When you touched it, the corner of the pic would fold over showing that it was selected, and you could then keep touching other thumbs to select as many as you would like and finish by hitting the soft key titled "Upload".On the Fascinate it appears that you have to select the pic in the album, hit share, hit Photobucket and then you have to scroll to the next and do it again and again until you have uploaded all your photos one at a time. Am I missing something, or is this just how the Fascinate and Photobucket app work together?

I have a ContentProvider that I use to send a file via Intent.createChooser(). If I pick eMail or GMail as the app to send vith, it's working fine, but if I pick Bluetooth, it fails with "Unknown file, Failure reason: Storage issue" Sending an image from the Camera app via Bluetooth works fine. I'm using Go SMS as my default message app on my Droid 2. When I send a picture to more than one contact, everyone I sent it to gets any response any one does to the message. This is obviously not cool.
I can't find an option to turn that off, I'd never even heard of such a feature before. Not sure if that is an Android thing or just my app. I want to continue using this app but I'm not going to send a picture to umpteen different people 1 at a time.
How do you Bluetooth pics from one phone to another. Turn both on paired them nut can't figure out transfers.

I downloaded the Handcent App and even it does the same thing as the stock app. It appears there's an option to split the message up as described when sent to a group. But it still creates the new thread whenever sending to individual names.
I try to send an image over bluetooth to another device. This works mostly fine, but sometimes, I get a StreamCorruptedException: Wrong format: 0x27 on the receiving device. Anybody knows what this means? And how can I avoid that?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using Handcent since I've had my Desire, but since the last few updates it seems to have developed a fault when sending the same sms message to multiple contacts. If I send a message to say 3 people, it either force closes, or comes up with the error message not sent. If it comes up with the latter, the messages are queued & sent 1 after the other. I was able to do this no problem before, so has anyone else experienced this in Handcent?
