I have a Micromax A90s phone and I have installed Zhao touch custom rom in it. There are pre-installed applications in it and those I want to uninstall. Is there any way to do it?

U mainly wanted to root to remove the unwanted apps preinstalled on my phone because I was tired of running out of space. I rooted successfully via Odin. downloaded root installer and removed the unwanted apps. Then I started playing around with other apps. But now when I try to use any of them I get "app was denied super user permission" and telling me I need to be rooted. I tried factory reset but that didn't work. In fact, I now can't even use app uninstaller to remove those apps.

The thing is i can't remove them from the phone.Apps that i've installed myself are no problem at all to remove but these that came with the phone just won't be deleted.If i can't delete them can i just hide the icons somehow? thay just take up space in the phone.

I just got my Sprint HTC Hero Android phone and I noticed that it comes preloaded with FACEBOOK. While I know that most people would consider that great, I don't. Awesome phone and this forum has already been a huge help, so I figured I'd join and ask my first question.The phone of course came with some apps already installed. I went to uninstall them, but it doesn't show up. Is there a way to do it with out getting all into moving files and all that stuff? I basically want to get rid of Friend Stream and the Desk Clock (since the other app, Clock, has the desk clock and is the same thing, just a different default setting when you open it).I'd like to maybe ditch the GMail app too, because the Mail app is set up to my gmail and does everything I want it to do.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have bought a new Xperia X8 but when i tested it at the shop I couldn't find 2 features that should be bloody basic standard for nearly EVERY OS out there. These features are:
1. A standard File-Explorer (for fast cross access of Photos, Sound, Music etc.nearly every mobile phone since 2000 had this feature)
2. A App-Manager to uninstall these tons of preinstalled apps I personaly will never use (like Doodle-Jump, Crazy Penguins etc.)
I am a PC User for aprox. 20 Years now and these features are exteme important for me. However I never really was in a situation where an Operating System came without a file-explorer even Windows 3.11 in the good old days had this feature directly implemented.The Man who sold me the phone said, I should test it at home and when I'm not compfortable with it, I could bring it back but I hope someone here can show me these features.

If I can't remove them, then I can't use the bulk install option and have to manually start all the installs.
