I had adw launcher ex as the default home on my EVO 3d. I did a soft restart and sense came back as my home. I opened adw and it retained the old settings but when I touched the home button it went back to sense. I tried home switched and set adw as the default but sense keeps coming back. Is there a way I can get the home screen to default to adw?

Is it possible to add app shortcuts to the homescreen so they show when android loads up for the first time? It would be ideal if I could somehow edit the ROM zip file so I can flash this to many devices.

I want to return to the standard home screen. In addition, whenever I try to make a call the phone makes the call with my speakerphone activated. It's a Galaxy SII Skyrocket.

Now, because of the new features added to Open Home i want to switch back, and every time i open 'Open Home' it only opens until i hit the home key. Then it does not ask me what i want to use as my default as it used to. I went to settings>applications>manage applications>open home to clear all defaults but it is not highlighted for me to select it. How can i set Open Home to my default again?

When I go to settings > wallpaper > select from gallery, it's blank because there's no pictures in that directory and I can't use any of my other gallery apps to choose (I tried clearing defaults already). View 3 Replies View RelatedWotcher all, I've had my HTC "Hero" (daft name) for about a week now and since the first few days after I'd installed a few apps, when I long-press the Home screen button, the list of last-run apps appears as expected, however the TouchFlo app (or the Home app if I'm experimenting with stock android) also appear in this list. The next time I use the Home button it gives me the choice of using Home or TouchFlo and setting one of them as the default. I hit the "use as default" button and hit TouchFlo and all is well again. However as soon as I use a long-press of the Home button again, the phone forgets the default setting and reverts to asking me which one of Home or TouchFlo I want to use as the default action for Home button presses.Does anyone know a fix for this? I've gone into App Manager and unset all the defaults, but that's had no effect. I am living with it by just not using the long-press of the Home key, as long as I avoid that the phone remembers to use TouchFlow as the default action for Home presses. I've also tried switching to using the stock Android Home app instead of HTC's but still get the phone forgetting the default when I use the long-press of Home.
View 13 Replies View RelatedWhen I first Bought My Droid X. I installed GDE which I Love and also Lockbot Pro which I also enjoy the Versatility of. During my 2nd day of use my screen went blank and no matter what I did the factory screen would not return, so I did a Hard reset back to factory settings. Now my problem is, that my original factory home Screen is no Longer Available through the home Button even if I uninstall Lockbot pro and/or GDE.
AND when I press the home Button it always asks me If I want to go to GDE or Lockbot (but as everyone knows, U never pick the lock screen). Should I just give up the Apps I like. I have the desire to got back to the factory home screen. That's why I ask, I can't without doing a Hard reset everytime. By the way, My 1st Droid (with The hard keyboard) always gives me the option of GDE, Home, or Lockbot When I press the home Button.

When I push the home button it asks me which program I want to use to complete the action (either andriod Home or HTC Sense), I always click the box indicating I want to use this option as default every time I push home but 10 minutes later when I push the home button again it asks me again which program I want to use. I have double checked in my settings and it shows HTC Sense is set as my default home setting but something just isnt right.

Every now and then, maybe once every other day?, when I press Home, it asks me which home screen app to use. I always click on the one I want (dxTop) and check the box that says use as default.
