BH_Man's ROMs are great and everything, but I'm a little disturbed that choices get made for me like which Home screen app to use and there's no way to even switch back - the default home screen app is gone. How can I get the default Home app back? I just want the stock system, I thought these ROMs were supposed to be lightweight stock ROMs

Ive had open home downloaded for over a month and i only used it for a short period of time before switching back to the default homepage setting. Now, because of the new features added to Open Home i want to switch back, and every time i open 'Open Home' it only opens until i hit the home key. Then it does not ask me what i want to use as my default as it used to. I went to settings>applications>manage applications>open home to clear all defaults but it is not highlighted for me to select it. How can i set Open Home to my default again?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI think I hit something while I was asleep and deactivating my alarm clock. My phone has this stupid blue screen with shortcuts on the bottom. I want to return to the standard home screen. In addition, whenever I try to make a call the phone makes the call with my speakerphone activated. It's a Galaxy SII Skyrocket.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen i use Home Switcher to switch homes (htc Sense and Launcher Pro) when i go to the app and click use sense as default when i press the home key it still goes back to launcher pro..so when i use sense i need to try to not press home which is annoying! Also i have hand cent sms and i get a double notification. for some reason when i go to messages>menu>settings n go to unchecked received notifications i still for some reason get notifications from the stock. I even went to make sure its unchecked and it is!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Behold 2 (duh) and I was looking threw the Application Manager and found that there is a HOME UI app that's there but not active. Now I have GDE installed on my phone but even if I clear the default settings the HOME app isn't mentioned in the list when I press the home button.
Is there a way to activate this Home app over Twlauncher without root or loading other ROMs? or is that app another thing or is it just for libraries and formality that its placed there?
Is there a why to get the YouTube app to always be in high quality?

So I pulled the PandaHome .apk, renamed it TwLauncher.apk, and replaced the Home++ TwLauncher. So far everything has been running fine. Just wondering if it is possible for anything bad to happen as a result of this.

Since I'm still waiting on the Update myself, I've had a brief chat with my Source at Samsung & he confirmed there isn't nothing life chaning in the kernel regarding problems. All fixes was addressed mainly to the OS it's self.
The Faster I can get the System Dump of the Update, the Faster I roll out updates to the system.img for everyone..
Just found this one on the market last night, its called PandaHero-Hero Style, by Honeybee apps. It is an actual full app that makes the phone almost exactly like a HTC-Hero. I love it so far, so easy to use and looks really good, it is pretty intuitive.

View 2 Replies View Relateda few days ago I was flashing my phone and had a power outage when I was almost done. Now I get can't it to show up on RSL or ADB. It's lagging like crazy. I did resets, I've been searching for 3 days for a way how to just put this phone (behold 2) back to stock, and I can't find a damn thing. I always hate to ask for help but I really need it. This thing freezes and randomly reboots by itself all day long. It's pretty useless. Does anyone have or know of a file I can download and flash or use in some other way to take my phone back to stock condition?
View 13 Replies View RelatedOk I first just want to say that this phone is so nice, and I was so scared to get it from everybody on this thread complaining but I don't see why.
-I had no mounting problems.
-Memory is awesome compared to the g1
-I don't see no lag. I think people say this because of the vibrate when touch method samsung has on it.
-I actually like the touchwiz interface over the boring silver android. Messaging is awesome with the picture of the friend you messaging.
-The cube is pointless though, but friends love it.
-It's plastic but it really don't feel cheap at all.
-Battery life isn't too good, but what smartphone battery is? What else do you expect from a phone with that nice of a display screen.
-No reboots
-I haven't had a force close yet, but when I had the g1 i had at least 10 a day.
-Has to be the nicest camera phone since my old n95.
-There was complaints about overlapping objects on the home screen. I love that it can do that.
-My only complaint is the 4 buttons on the home screen. They are just simply pointless.
I feel alot are just being too picky. This has to be the best android phone behind the nexus one. Some questions though...
1.Can the home screen go into landscape mode?
2. Anyway to lower the brightness of the camera flash. It's blinding lol
3.Im trying to install some apps from my g1. (cracked) Most install but some don't. Is this problem because the apps are only for android 1.6 + ?
4. Anyone have any super thin case's? Where did you find them?
5. On the commercial about this phone with the comic artist. He changed the color of the picture with some app. What app is that? Is it pre-installed?
6.Does the phone lag any with a new keyboard installed? I was going to install swype or better keyboard.
7.Is there not any light's to show that the phone is charging, or when you have notifications?
8.This might sound ******ed, but is the screen glass?
I was in love with this phone, and I had no sort of problem at all. THEN, I see the red and blue arrows so I had to update, which I knew wasn't going to do alot, but should help the phone out. It didn't. After it was done, my phone had the slowest lag I've ever saw, and when I would unlock the phone it gave me a static white screen sometimes before going to my home screen. I just want to go back to how it was, I had no mounting problems ect. Anyway to do this? Would it be the ODIN program?

Get rid of that mombojumbo and back to normal stock android .
1) If your phone is waking up repeatedly upon pressing lock, and you don't want to restart: HOLD LOCK & PRESS THE ROUND MIDDLE BUTTON!
2) Home++ Menu Restarting on each press, MANAGE APPLICATIONS+FORCEKILL. If you are feeling lazy and don't want to go into the Manage Apps Menu, simply bring up and 'return button' the menu 5 times, it'll lock up, and kill it from there.

I saw a lot of people having better performance running GDE, so, I uninstalled open home and that was when all hell broke loose. TWLauncher keeps crashing the phone and I cannot get the phone to a home screen. I tried the recovery mode, but nothing is working. I can't bring it up in adb because I can't get to the settings of the phone to set it up to be seen.

View 17 Replies View RelatedThis is really pissing me off. I turned my phone off and now when I turned it back on it stays in the bootload android screen. If I press the cube button it goes to cube and then I'm able to navigate around to internet and other media features but it refuses to load up the home screen. Is there anything I can do without having to do a hard reset. I don't want to reload all my apps over again.
