I am using Fotmob on my phone but can't use the Fotmob Fixture Enabler, as it says I can't download it in the UK.All internet links I can find are for the Market.
I was wondering if any of the genius's on here had an Fotmob Fixture Enabler .apk I could bluetooth over and install?I have even tried Market Enabler but that did not work!

I use google calendar, I organise a little football team, where it is common for games to be changed for various reasons. I made a Calender with the fixture list and used the public URL to share it with the team, most of whom then imported it to the calendars on their smart phones. I then tested to see if I changed information on my calendar if their calendars would update. I found that the IPhone users calendars did but not the android users.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis issue has been sorta "asked and answered" but the information I have found information has been on phones OTHER than the EVO. I just wanted to CONFIRM everything for the EVO (which I just rooted last night and NEW to the root modifications and options) before I got into any trouble! I have the stock 8GB card and want to update to a larger card. I rooted my phone last night and the only "rooty" things I have done has been: (1) full clockworkmod backup to the SD card; (2) Titanium backup; and (3) moving some apps to the SD via Move2SD Enabler.
From what I've read I can just copy the contents of my original card to the new card and put the card in the phone. I was wondering if this IS the case with the EVO? Since I am rooted with various backups saved to the SD card, are their any concerns with those files going forward? And do I have any concerns with the apps that I have moved to the SD card...will they continue to function with copy-paste to the new card inserted into teh phone?? And lastly...also probably asked and answered a thousand times but I didn't check ...can anyone recommend a class/speed/brand of SD card, most likely a 16GB card but perhaps a 32GB?? Yes for those who are running CyanogenMOD 5.0.5.7 ONLY right now. Just type JIT in the market and it'll pop up. I've been running it with the heat turned down and so far it's behaving. I'm sure it'll explode tomorrow. All these apps have made my adb skills waste away. The best thing about it is you can turn it off without having to pull and editing the build file yourself which is sort of a pita Jit App In Market - CyanogenMod Forum Not supporting Jit by any means just forwarding the news.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been reading how to get more memory thread where is suggested to run clearapps.sh script in order to remove unnecesarry applications on a great Galaxo ROM. I was wondering, is it possible that MarketEnabler depends on some of those apps, because after running the script, it fails to either restore settings from backup or set different provider. There is no force-close or freeze. It just pops up "working" box for indefinite time period without progres bar filling (I waited several minutes). The infobox can be easily discarded with the back button.

If I were within the main application, I know I could just place the file in the assets directory and use getResources().getAssets().open(sourceFile).However, this API appears to be unavailable from the ActivityInstrumentationTestCase2 class.Is there an easy way to copy a file over from the testing PC, or should I just keep a fresh copy of a test fixture on the device and copy it over a temporary file?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIt seems there is a general voice search / voice recognition issue with non-english languages. The problem is basically that punctuation is written in plain and not recognized. It seems to affect a number of devices (if not all?) running ICS / JB.
So period will write "period" and not "." .
Same for comma that will end in writing "comma" and not ",".
(this of course in each different Language)
This basically makes the voice recognition totally unusable and useless for anything but English. So far, this issue has been reported with the following languages:
French
German
Spanish
Italian

I am trying to get in to the General Settings page in Gmail on my Hudl to change the "swipe to delete" value, but I cannot find the page. When I go into settings there is a General link but it only shows
- Auto advance
- Message text size
- Ask to show pictures
I have tried different contexts, inbox, recycle bin, unread email, read email, but cannot find this setting, in fact according to the Google support page I am missing a whole range of settings.
Recently I bought new General mobile discovery, but I don't know how to root it because I havn't got any tutorial bout rooting general mobile discovery.

I have been working on an issue that involves opening the zip file and then edit and replace certain files. I have seen a few posts in the past where it says to replace certain files in a rom, but everytime that I do I get an error after flashing. After flashing and boots to the main screen that asks you to touch the android, I get an error that says "Sorry, the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" and the only option is to click on Force Close, but it just keeps coming back. Something is definitely not right with replacing files in a rom, but Im not sure if there's even a correct way. Im using winrar as everyone has mentioned. I have tried using the Fix Permissions option in the Clockwork Recovery also, but no luck. Only option is to reflash. Does the whole rom need to be recompiled?

What i am asking, could restoring these apps for each rom slow the rom down in general? Or will restoring the data not effect it at all. Its just some roms feeling a bit sluggish after restoring them.

Ok that means i dont care about the language my apps will be displayed in as long as it is english "which should be in every rom.."
But i do care about the region they are set in... means when i start MIUI News/Weather (geniewidget.apk) I want to see News from Germany and temperature in Celsius..
When I play "who-becomes-rich" I want Euro for currency! and so on ...

View 4 Replies View RelatedI really like how iTunes is set up and keeps track of what podcasts are watched etc and how you can just plug in the iPod and everything is all synced. This is the main reason I've held on to my iPod. Do one of these syncing apps identically mimic how iTunes works with apple products? So basically i could plug my phone in, check off the podcasts and click sync? I was hesitant to pay for one of them without knowing for sure if it worked identical to iTunes without a bunch of extra steps.

About a month ago, while in my back yard, I noticed that my Note2 was indicating 4G LTE. Problem is that as soon as I walk in my house, the signal switches to 3g. I wish that there was a way to force my phone to stay on 4g because even when the signal is very weak it's still 10 times faster than my home internet or 3g. Or is there a way to boost a 4g lte signal?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI woke up and my phone wouldn't turn on. So the screen would not turn on, but the green indicator light would flash. Now in not my most brightest of moments, I plugged it into my charger. When I later checked, I felt that the back was warm, so I unplugged it. The phone would still not turn on so I put It in rice. I then ordered a repair kit to open the back to open and apply rice (it came very late), and once this was done it still did not turn. Now the water damage indicator in the sim slot changed color, but I am not actually sure how to proceed. Can I do anything to salvage this phone or should I just get a new one?
