Feb 9, 2014My Device was using L900SPTBMK4 and I want to do a restore. Kies doesn't recognize it when in Download mode, does it when is on the loopboot but never finished the connection, stuck a connecting.
In odin the device isn't recognized when in download mode either, as Kies, it recognize the device when stuck a the bootloop. I don't to if is safe to try a flashing in this mode.
Using ODIN v3.09
Autoreboot checked
F. reset Time checked
I don't remember what download mode I suppose to choose from BL/AP/CP
I also have this file L900VPUBMK4_L900SPTBMK4_HOME.tar.md5 to try the flashing if recommended.
General :: LG Optimus Hub Bricked / Stuck?
Apr 14, 2012I attempted to install transparent cm7.2 status bar and phone bricked (fastboot). I fixed it and installed other phone model's cwm with windows cmd command (stupid, I know). After this I'm always stuck at lg screen. Can't get into recovery either. Lg update tool does not find the phone, neither does cmd.exe. I sometimes get the ''colored snow screen'' or whatever I should call it. But it doesnt change the fact that the phone can't be recognized by anything.I can't turn the phone in any mode, it always starts with the lg screen.

Nov 30, 2013I SOFT BRICKED my lg e730 while trying to install HarshGinger v3.
I tried to root my phone, and everything was ok until I tried to install the rom. I saw in recovery how the rom was installing, and when all was completed the phone entered into a boot loop. I think that I should install first a stable cyanogen mod and then harshginger.. I think this is what I done wrong. The phone it`s soft bricked because I can reach to the emergency mode screen.
Question: I can do a reboot from ADB or I have to use KDZ? KDZ looks like the type of program used by the smart people and I`m not really that smart. I am looking for a simpler solution, like a combination of buttons or something.
General :: Bricked Rooted LG Optimus F6 - Setup Wizard Deleted?
Jan 8, 2014Ok so I rooted my LG Optimus F6 yesterday, I used root uninstaller to get rid of stock apps but by accident or careless I must have deleted LG setup wizard.. I later on that day Master Reset the phone and Now I can't get my phone to load up.. It turns on and brings me to LG setup wizard but says it unexpectedly stopped, I've tried hard resetting and I've went into safe mode and it brings up the message at the home screen, Home screen has unexpectedly stopped. Is there anything I can do to restore my phone back or somehow download setup wizard and install on to my phone from the PC. Also my PC isn't recognizing my phone so I can't even get into the files from the PC..

Nov 26, 2012my device is galaxy ace s5830i..i have already rooted my device and used CW Recovery and taken a copy of my original system.i wanted to set up a custom rom i restarted and reset and deleted the cash then installed the rom.i think it was Retribution beta then i wanted to update to that custom rom (MindCR ICS) all i did i restarted my phone of course went into R mode and reset and deleted the cash then installed that next custom rom .
after installing completed when i rebooted it only gave me (samsung galaxy ace s5830i) logo and doesn't open the system when i restart it doesn't go into recovery or download mode it only gives me again the same logo.i used odin v 1.81 and the latest version it doesn't recognize the phone and i can't go into download mode.

Jan 9, 2013So I was having a problem with my Optimus V (Virginmobile) and I couldn't send or receive texts. I did a factory restart thinking it would work but then found myself at the recovery menu. When I try to flash xionia_cwma_12518.6.zip it says E:cant find update script. When I try and flash CM7.2RC1_VM670-BobZhome-052012 it installs and when I reboot i get taken back to the recovery menu.
In short; My Virgin Mobile Optimus V is stuck in a recovery loop that I am unable to get out of due to an error while trying to flash ROMs/ Custom Recovery.
The error reads at the end of all attempts: E: Can't find update script.

Aug 31, 2010I did the gscript way on rooting the phone and that was a success but when I'm trying to flash the Plain Jane rom it would work but then when needing to be restarted it would just go into bootloop like have the ERIS screen then appear with the Plain Jane over the top of it and just repeat itself forever. Oct 2, 2010I have tried flashing several kernals with different ROMs, but more often than not, my phone just ends up restarting over and over. after i boot it, when i flash the kernal, I would be playing with it then all of a sudden it would freeze up on me and start boot looping. I have cleared the dalvik and cache before flashing ROMs and kernal. I rooted via 3.21 unrevoked and it says on the top of hboot s-off. The only kernal that has worked is netarchy-toastmod 4.1.8 bfs. any idea what i could be doing wrong?

Apr 5, 2014I had motorola defy before my xperia z. Defy had something called bootmenu which let me switch on adb while booting a ROM. Now i have xperia z, its bootloader unlocked, a rom cooked by my own which is in bootloop. It doesnt have bootmenu to do like i did for defy. How do i switch on adb from the phone's side? I have setup adb perfectly on my computer.
My ROM goes into bootanimation but adb doesnt seem to be switched on in the phone' side.
when i type "adb logcat log" it is stuck at "waiting for device " while the bootanimation goes on into bootloop

Jul 27, 2012I installed an RUU with an update utility which fixed a WiFi problem I was having. Everything looked good so I immediately tried rooting with zergrush which seemed to work until my first re-boot. Now the phone is stuck in a boot-loop.
I have two utilities for RUU versions. I've flashed both of them at least three times each but its the result is the same every time. The phone boots normally the first time, then goes into loop on the next restart.
One issue that I noticed that when I re-lock the bootloader in fastboot, I get an error message. It goes something like...
(BOOTLOADER) Lock Successfully....
FAILED (unknown error)
However, when I go back to bootloader, it says **** RELOCKED **** at the top. Maybe whatever is causing the "unknown error" is also interfering with the re-lock procedure. It may not be truly re-locked.
I really just want to get this phone back to stock condition so that it works like it should.

Nov 12, 2012my phone is stuck in a bootloop. and its Not rooted. all i can do is go to the boot menu. I want to use ADB to see if i can read the phone data (like sms...). Is there any chance that the device will be recognized when i connect it to the PC by usb with ADB?? or is it impossible? maybe ADB needs the phone to be operating normally to be recognized.

I only ask because I am currently stuck in a boot animation loop. I am able to communicate with my phone via adb during the animation loop and while in the bootloader recovery. Wiping the data and and factory resetting doesn't solve the problem.
I am thinking about pulling those two files from my wife's phone which is the same phone (Samsung Proclaim) and pushing them to mine.

May 18, 2014So my galaxy note 2 is continously bootlooping. As soon as I insert the battery into the phone, it shows the galaxy note 2 screen and a couple seconds later the same. I can't enter download mode because when I click the Volume+ button to enter it, it starts from the galaxy note 2 screen.
I had flashed cyanogen mod 11 to my phone a couple months back, but it was working fine. Today morning some water got on it, but I dried it of and it was working fine.

Took the next step and tried to install CWM recovery, and use it to run miniCM6.After the white sony ericsson logo disappeared, the blue android with the spinning light appeared, but now it seems get stuck here.
I tried using PC companion to restore my phone, but when my phone go into flashmode, there's a windows pop-up saying the USB driver failed to install and USB device cannot be recognized. Tried using flashtool but it doesnt work either. When i tried charging the phone with the charger, the green LED light did not light up too. I was wondering whether its hardware or software problem.

Jan 21, 2013I was playing around with the Ubislate 7ci tablet, which is basically a generic Android tablet with stock ICS. Since it is not supported well, I went thru multiple documents and rooted it, After a lot of tries installed ClockWorkMod 4 too and took a backup. But after that I went one too far and installed ClockWorkMod touch 6, which pushed my system in to a bootloop. I am not able to go to recovery, adb / fastboot is not recognizing my tablet.
I tried writing the boot.img and recovery.img to SD card using win32diskimager, but the tablet is not booting from the SD card.
I have the backup files from ClockWorkMod and a tablet which bootloops (not able to go in to recovery or adb/fastboot). Is there a chance of reviving the tablet?
