When the charger gets connected... sometimes.. the charge led glows.. and charging icon is displayed on top.. but the battery is still discharging as after an hour.. when i saw.. the battery was down by 5%.. even when it was charging..
some times when i connect the charger.. the led glows ... but after few seconds it becomes off.. and the screen keeps on waking up all by itself... and during this part... the charge level neither moves up... nor moves down... i have to reboot the phone to get the real charge level... but in the first problem... rebooting doesn't work ....
I am using Genuine Micromax Charger and it is 100% fine as i have tested it on other phones too...
Cant enter recovery as that reboot loops the cyanogenmod image, can I maybe use a custom flasher and flash the euro open BIN?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Micromax Canvas 4 ( Android 4.2.1 ) . I have installed some pirated games on my device and right after 1 week all the signal bars goes down. Now there is no signal on my device from last month. Sometimes they come after 7-10 days and went away the same day.
I have tried these following steps :
1. Rebooting several times.
2. Factory Reset.
3. Changing SIM Card.
4. Changing automatic network selection settings to manual and then to automatic.
P.S. : Whenever I change my SIM card it says " Your phone date is inaccurate". < - - May be this is the reason.
I did the gscript way on rooting the phone and that was a success but when I'm trying to flash the Plain Jane rom it would work but then when needing to be restarted it would just go into bootloop like have the ERIS screen then appear with the Plain Jane over the top of it and just repeat itself forever. What am i doing wrong?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have tried flashing several kernals with different ROMs, but more often than not, my phone just ends up restarting over and over. after i boot it, when i flash the kernal, I would be playing with it then all of a sudden it would freeze up on me and start boot looping. I have cleared the dalvik and cache before flashing ROMs and kernal. I rooted via 3.21 unrevoked and it says on the top of hboot s-off. The only kernal that has worked is netarchy-toastmod 4.1.8 bfs. any idea what i could be doing wrong?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI installed Quantum Radicle v1.0 and all the provided bug fixes which were provided in this site.
But after installing the ROM the inbuilt music player, Gallery, Video Player (Walkman, Album, Movies) are not fetching the respective files from both internal SD Card (Phone Storage 2.08GB) and External SD Card that I have inserted.
Then I tried other apps that are available in the market for the same purposes (Fusion, Photo Gallery, MX Player). But it was in vain. They too didn't fetch the files.
Everything else is working good except the automatic file fetching in such apps.
I am trying to make my first custom ROM, but I have a problem with permissions.. this is my updater-script:

But when I press on reboot on recovery, it says that the ROOT may have been lost, then it says, repair root? I press on 'no', the device restarts but it gets a black screen right after the device logo..
So I got my own rom. Its a lightly edited version of the stock rom. But while I try to flash it it gives me back a error. I found out through a flash app that the ZIP file is not valid. (and not giving a explanation why not..)

View 9 Replies View RelatedI followed the effen manual to flash a new ROM for my HCT Desire HD on Monday, December 12th with absolute success. However, I have lost the start up sound file and when I boot my android, it boots in quiet mode. I searched for a solution and found many threads explaining how to disable it, but very little on how to enable it.
The problem is when I open my SDcard and look in the media/audio/notifications all I have is a facebook.mp3 file, I do not have any other files that would allow for the start up sound to open on boot.
My loadMap() method generate a canvas.throwIfRecycled exception when i try to load a new map.
When i start the game, the initial map loads and work fine though,
its only when i try to load a new map that i get the exception ..
How can i "reset" canvas and the bitmap i use to draw into, so i can startover fresh with them ?

So basicaly once i created and used picDest and canvas, i cannot figure how to reset it all for when i want to load a new map..
I am trying to go from 2.1 back to 2.0.1 to root but When I go into bootloader mode, the screen doesn't change from "bootloader 2.2C" to anything. And the flashing always fails at 100% and nothing is changed when I restart my phone.
