View 6 RepliesLast week, I flashed my LG Nexus 4 (16GB) phone with stock Android 4.4 (Official Image), before that I was on CyanogenMod 10.1.3 Stable.
Now, for some reason I didn't like the stock 4.4 and tried to Flash back my CyanogenMod 10.1.3 from CWM "Install ZIP" but the problem I'm facing is that it CyanogenMod doesn't boot, hangs on "Spiral Splash Screen". Then I tried Flashing CM 10.0 stable, still loops into boot forever and at times boots (after 15-20 minutes of booting on spiral splash screen) and doesn't recognise SIM card, Camera, Storage, WIFI or anything.
Then after getting fed up with this I tried flashing MIUI V5. This also takes a 15-20 to boot and fails to recognise - SIM, WiFi, Camera etc.
So lastly like a loser I flashed back my Android 4.4 it works fine.
I've my boot-loader in unlocked state.
and Yes before flashing CM or MIUI, I did - wipe data/factory, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache from CWM Recovery.
So I want to get back into CyanogenMod 10.1 stable.
Cant enter recovery as that reboot loops the cyanogenmod image, can I maybe use a custom flasher and flash the euro open BIN?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have LK bootloader source code which I need to build and flash to a Nexus 5 device.
* I got the source code from the Code Aurora website
* I made a guess which branch is the stable branch I need, because I found no mention of it anywhere (I took "kk_2.7-stable", where kk means kitkat)
* On a Debian 7 stable machine, I installed a GCC cross compiler from Deb packages built using Emdebian tools
* I made a guess which target to compile, because the exact chip name didn't have its own: I use msm8960
* I created some symlinks to the cross-building tools because the makefile and the debian cross-building tool names are different
* I ran 'make msm8960' and the build was successful (I also tried earlier with NDK prebuilt GCC but it failed)
* I got a bunch of files with no idea what to do with them
* I attached the device to the computer and re-flashed the stock bootloader to make sure it works
* I checked the fastboot screen: Bootloader unlocked, secure boot is on
* I tried flashing the 'lk' binary file I got from the build process, but fastboot says:
sending 'bootloader' (1702 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.239s]
writing 'bootloader'...
FAILED (remote: invalid bootloader image
)
The size of the file is much smaller than the size of the stock bootloader, but I don't know if it matters or what exactly I need to flash. I did a lot of web search, including here on XDA, but found no evidence of struggling with flashing the bootloader.
How do I flash the bootloader after I build it?
flash stock rom on micromax bolt A67. Where i can find flashing tools and driver that supports on windows 8. How could i flash the stock rom.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI had access to a Nexus Q, during the time i was using it, i flashed gapps on the Q's stock rom. My question is if i flashed gapps on the LG L9 (LP769) would gapps install properly? Is there a possibility of bricking my device (which i wouldn't mind because i have a backup)? Although the Nexus Q's bootloader was unlocked, I'm sure that would't have changed the outcome. The only thing that's truly bothering me is since the Q is a Nexus, and since gapps seems to be heavily based of of vanilla android, wouldn't that mean flashing gapps on the L9 more prone to failing? My phone's bootloader is locked but the apps are deodexed.
View 2 Replies View Relatedso i just find a new way to reboot to stock recovery on samsung galaxy ace plus GT-S7500 without flashing another custom recoveru like cwm or something like that
many people say that we cant access the stock recovery on galaxy ace plus because it have some bugs or something else.. now i found the way how to do that
just follow the simple guide how to do that :
1. reboot it using volume + and volume - ~> home button ~> power button
2. click and hold both volume button then the home button then the power button..
3. if the phone gets turned on so u need to keep hold that button until the recovery showed up (when it showed up and its get turned off again so u need to hold all the button again until it get rebooted to recovery)
4.if u get rebooted all time its not a big problem again .. all u need is just hold all that button until the phone gets turned on and release the power off button and hold it again until u boot it on recovery mode.. and done u booted up on recovery mode (im not responsible if ur phone gets bootloop or something else)
i want to flash the kernel on my super stock p500 to fix the touchscreen lag bug cuz it's really bugging me and junk. i'm going to use "flash image gui" to flash the kernel cuz it sounds pretty safe.
remember, i have a super stock, lg p500 (optimus one) running froyo 2.2.
How can I recover my applications from my tablet after I have rooted it. since the stock/original applications takes up 8 gigs of space of my internal memory. I just cannot seem to access/delete those 8 gigs??
I flashed cyanogen 9 to my SGT2.10.1 and it was successful, although I am stuck on trying to recover my applications from the partition internal memory. Of course I have done a variety of steps to recover them and some of the steps I took are:
1. I tried using the spk tool - I really do not know how to use it and I am having a hard time figuring it out .
2. Trying to delete and reformat the internal memory - was not successful since it only erased of what I currently had on the rooted and partitioned memory, thus my original/stock application are still within the internal memory.
3. I tried using applications such PC36IMG-AmonRA-3.07-gnm.zip - I changed the name to PC36IMG but flashing it lead to installation fail/aborted.
4. I tried recovering them with titanium back up - but the application couldn't see my original/stock applications.
5. Also tried using Astro File manager - Same results as TBU .
6. Deleting the files from my pc via usb- it does not give me an option to reformat it.
I flashed with "CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.zip" and the the rooting as per this [URL] and it was successful.
But I installed font installer and gave access via superuser and after reboot, it dint turned on ( stuck on bootloader "Samsung")..
So I flashed SGG with stock rom via Odin and the phone got on, and again tried to flash "CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.zip" but this time , i dint got the CWM. I am getting android system recovery instead on CWM... I cant root again!!
I tried flashing "CWM-touch_i9082_chotu.tar.zip" 3 time but only bin counter is rising.. i am getting android system recovery 3 <e> only...
i'm using lg l3 e400 ! actually my went in boot loop ,so it ws unable to start then i flashed kdz V10L(as i'm from india ). then my phone sarted normally!but the main problem is that now i tired to root my phone so many times but always and error comes link failed permission denied !!so i think that after flashing orginal kdz flash (stock rom )kdz V10L we are unable to root !!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI finally updated my nexus after seeing it in my notification column. All seemed okay so let it get on with it.But when I thought it was ready I cannot get further than the four moving coloured circles. I have tried to factory reset and delete cache but has made no changes. I have been in contact with google play who now say there is no more actions that can be done so will need replacement.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a rooted Nexus S with Cyanogen 7.1.0.1 and I'm trying to get it back to stock. but the problem is that my phone won't recognize that it's being plugged into my PC. I have tried reinstalling the drivers and I have tried different USB ports and USB cables. Nothing seems to work. I have also tried restoring to an old backup I did months ago when there was nothing on the phone and it still won't recognize it.
Sometimes, very randomly, the PC will recognize that I've plugged in a device but it will automatically say that the drivers could not be installed.
I have seen the nexus 4 unroot toolkit, I have a Nexus 4 running 4.2.2, TWRP, and Franco.Kernel. i want to upgrade the Nexus 4 to 4.4 KitKat, i never had the chance to upgrade to 4.3 because i was rooted. I do not mind loosing my root, franco.kernel or twrp, i just want to be able to get the new updates that are being released from google, and OTA if possible. it is super important to me that i don't loose my apps and data.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRunning a Galaxy Nexus on Stock 4.1.1 (rooted).Last week, Play Store randomly started giving me the DF-BPA-09 Error when I wanted to download new apps. Old apps would update fine. I searched XDA and found that turning Google Sync Off and restarting the phone solved it. It worked once or twice, but the problem kept coming back.
Then read another thread that said go to All Apps > Play Store >Uninstall Updates and Clear Data. I did this, and now when I start Play Store, it permenantly gives me 'Server Error', with a Retry Button below it.I have Titanium Backup Pro, so tried restoring an older version, tried Freezing and Unfreezing the App, still not working.
DF-BPA-09 Error used to come, Cleared Play Store Data and now stuck at Server Error.
Any Touchwiz Xposed modules that allow me to get my TW notification shade to more closely resemble the Nexus/stock experience? And if not, at least make everything smaller so I can fit more in the screen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm experimenting with SIP/VOIP on my Android device (Galaxy Nexus). I'm using the SIP account settings in the stock dialer app, this works fine for dialing/voice.
The issue is there are no similar SIP settings for the stock SMS client... is this simply a feature that was not added for some reason? is there a technical reason why this is not possible? (other third party clients support it) or can the stock SMS client use SIP and I just can't figure it out?
