Motorola Droid :: Flash Even Sucks With WiFi And Good Service
Aug 5, 2010So I wrote a thread earlier that flash 10.1 sucks with little to no internet sucks. Which is normal but with wifi turned on at home, I couldn't watch my anime on my phone. Which was really disappointing. Are you guys having problems with the flash player or is it just me? Video was choppy or took forever to load. Plays a few seconds then loads again. So I couldn't get halfway through the episode.

HTC Droid Eris : Good SMS / MMS Apps?
May 7, 2010If this has already been posted i looked at the search windows to see if there where some related ones and didn't find any. i was wounding if there was any good SMS/MMS apps out there that don't make your phone laggy and is there a way to make it so like Chomp or Handcent comes up in Advanced Task Killer instead of stock messaging. in other words can i make it so my stock messaging app donesnt even start up and my Market app is there. also is there a good keyboard app that is better than the stock one and again doesn't make my phone laggy.

Dec 21, 2009im privileged to be one of the few people in my circle of friends that own a droid and i blow them away in many feature comparisons as they all have iphones or blackberries but i noticed through the apple app store there were many cool apps where you can just shake the phone for certain features like wake-ups notifications and even being used in popular games just wondering what Android has that has that kinda cool "shake" feature i think it would be sweet.

Mar 18, 2010Go ahead and download opera mini 5 beta. It has the best facebook app on its homepage and IMO it is way superior to any out there.The browsing is super fast and you have the ability to download videos from your favorite sites to your sd card. Probably my favorite app side from personal assistant.

1) What's On...(it took me a while to find a good app on my Eris, Tv Guide for the US
2) Wikipedia...I searched for this and never found anything
3) Dictionary....it was a simple dictionary and thesaurus app. Any suggestions for a replacement?
4) AllRecipes...I could not find one decent recipe app out there...PLEASE are there any I might have missed?

Aug 16, 2010So my EVO was damaged..well the back-light does not come on anymore(I think due to moisture).I've tried RICE and other Drying technique...no fix So 'm gonna put in a claim.Knowing I will probably not have a phone for a little bit, I bought a used Hero for a backup phone.(It will do for now, got it cheap).It came with the latest .6 Patched rom.I downgraded to .5 and rooted it.What's a good flash rom to try with 2.1 fixes wifi and mostly everything working? As most I wanted my phone a little bit faster/cleaner and more control(why I rooted). I still do like some HTC things but not all of it, can I install some of it back when I flash to a new Rom? I'm sorta new to this and first time Rooting. I'm still not sure how you flash new Rom.

Nov 21, 2010Ok, there is literally no way that I'm the only one who has asked this question but I can't find the answer by searching. Here's my problem, after I flash my rom and restart my phone the market begins auto-downloading all the apps I previously had installed. I do not want this bc I use titanium backup for all of that.
I know I can avoid it temporarily if I skip entering my email address, but there has to be a setting for me to un check that will make it not try to auto download anything once I do add my account.
I'm sure you guys have all run into this by now, so can someone please tell me what setting will resolve this issue?

Nov 2, 2010After publishing a free app to Android Market I have received numerous solicitations from 3rd party app stores to publish my app such as handster.com and mobango.com. To date, I have not pursued that and my app is only available on Android Market.
I would love to hear some developer opinions about this: Is it better to stick to Android Market only, or does it make sense to publish your free apps in as many stores as you can? What do you think are the pros and cons to each approach?
