i developed application with map service and webservices when i run application its became very slow and continuosly it is showing activity not responding force close or wait.

View 3 Replies View RelatedGot my SGS this week and only real annoying problem is I find the accelerometer to be slow on times.....when I want to text and switch to the qwerty board by rotating the phone it sometimes just sits there and does not respond, can wait for a while, (smae when I want to view my photos) or I will just move it back vertical and then horizontal again.....really annoying, anyone get same prob? is there any fixes/causes for this?

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo with the last few ROMs I've had installed, I've tried moving apps to the sdcard. I figured it would be a good thing, even if I wasn't running out of room. Every time I move more than just a few apps to the sdcard, my whole phone starts getting laggy. I just moved all of my apps back to phone and the "lagginess" is gone. I currently have UD8.0 installed, but it has behaved this way with LFY and Pete's BB ROMs as well. So it doesn't seem to be a ROM related.

For the last few days I have disabled task killer, and since then haven't killed a single app. First day the phone got leggy and I had to reboot, but since then no issues. Ive installed a memory meter and it got right down to 10% available memory before it got leggy. now it averages about 35% free memory (92mb) Ive read that frequently killing background apps is not really good for the operation of the phone? Should I Install a Task Manager/Killer on My Android Device? This sounds true, or am I being suckered into the media, Should I rather leave all the apps running in the background? When I did have Task panel running most of the apps where on the auto kill list, but when ever I open task panel, all these apps are listed under active apps, but are all highlighted in red. Any idea as to why? Are these apps actually being killed or is this whole app killer a farce?

This is why I always seem to regret trying out any villain ROMs. Always some errors that creep up & folks say they are stable. Is their a way to correct this? Maybe I should try sence build 5. Cause sence 2.2 was good but I wanted to try the new villain.

Is this correct, should I not see a 3G with two arrows? I am with O2UK.
My aunt gave me a Samsung Galaxy S2 and everything was fine, except that it didn't let me register to the network. The next day it told me that it had to do an update so I did the update. After the update the home screen turned black and pressing the buttons didn't do anything. After a while an error pops up saying "application is not responding" and then the screen just stays black. The top bar works just fine and I can even go on the internet, play games, practically do everything. I did a factory reset by pressing Volume up + Home + Power 3 times already, but the only thing that changed is that the language turned into German.. the screen stays black. It had nothing to do with Rooting or Flashing, because I don't even know what that is.

i'm having the above problem when switching my activity. In the first activity i have a GalleryView showing all my images and an ImageView show the selected image from the gallery. Now i want to switch to the next activity and keep the same image from the ImageView on screen in the second activity. I checked to see what has been using all my memory and was surprised to see the TV Guide app running. I closed it and my phone ran great again. Checked the battery usage to see it used almost 5% of my battery. The one problem? I NEVER EVEN USED IT YET. Anyone else have a similar issue with this app on the Droid?

The HTC Gallery is great by the way it organized photos and is easier to use, but isn't an option for an AOSP ROM [afaik]. Does anyone have a recommendation as to what my other options could be? My question was in regards to the camera's use. The above article makes use of a canvas to preview the image, if one didn't want to preview the image before taking it could that be done? Is it necessary to use a preview of the camera image or can I just call takepicture to take the picture and catch the resulting callback to save it to a file?

But I just discovered that whenever I try to add another call when I am in a call, it promps me to complete the action using. 1. my app 2. The normal phone And when I click on my app, it just opens my app. I do not understand what is causing this and do not want my app to be shown in that list.

Whenever I try to view my location, zoom in or out, or drag the map around, all I get is the white pixilated screen. Sometimes it will load, sometimes it won't.
