Whenever I try to visit a https address, all the browser shows is a white blank page, eg. when I try to launch the Mobile version of Gmail in the browser, the only thing I get is a blank page.

I have a problem on my Asus ME301T tablet with the Play Books app (I'm running android 4.2). Regular text based books work just fine, however, comic books show as blank pages. Sometimes it will load a few pages if I rotate the screen a few times.
I've tried to reinstall the app and redownload the comics without luck. It works fine on my Samsung i9000 running android 4.3.
In the Facebook app for Android and on the mobile website, my liked pages aren't show correctly. I think it only shows likes from a huge while back, as any pages I've recently liked just don't show up. The weird part is that my newesty liked pages shows up on the button for likes on my profile, but once you click it, it's nowhere to be found. Another werid thing is that after pressing that, it says that I have "Other Likes: 11", but once I click that, it only shows 9.
Here is what I want you to try:
-Go to the facebook app, slide out the menu and click your own name to go to your profile.
-Slide to the side in the area where you have About, Photos, Friends and Places and slide until you see the Likes button.
-Check the pictures on that button and see if you can find them in after clicking the button
-See if the number of Other Likes match with the amount it shows.
I'm wondering if its just a bug for everyone or if I'm the only one having the problem. Maybe there is even another way to get to your liked pages??
I'm trying to connect to connect to my T-Mobile G1 to test a simple android app I an creating. I cannot get it to show up in the list of connected android devices. Here are the details: 32-bit Windows XP I have enabled USB Debugging on my device I am not prompted with the New Hardware Wizard when I plug my device in, it is merely seen as a new removable drive. It does not appear under any other categories in Device Manager, nor is there a new "Unknown Device" entry anywhere to be found I have tried "Update Driver" and select the driver that Google provides for their official developer devices, but it says "this driver does not match your device" or something to that effect. Probably because it is expected a device type other than "Disk Drive"I have tried uninstalling the device under "Disk Drives" and plugging it in again but it always gets reinstalled automatically as a "Disk Drive" have tried uninstalling the device, manually installing the Google driver from the INF file and plugging in the device and it is still only recognized as a "Disk Drive" Most importantly, I get a blank device list when I run "adb devices" from the Android SDK tools directory before and after each step I tried After hours of scouring the web I get the distinct impression that a new device category should be popping up in Device Manager if the driver is installed correctly, but I have not been able to get the device to come up as anything other than a new "Disk Drive"

View 9 Replies View RelatedI got an Eris today. I am happy with the phone in general, but I did not realize how much I may want a keyboard with a smart phone. I may go back and get the Motorola version tomorrow.
My only concern is I do not know how to turn off getting the mobile versions of web pages as the default on the Motorola Droid. There is an option to turn off getting mobile versions of web pages as the default on the Eris, but I could not find it on the Motorola version. If I am getting a fast phone with a good browser, I want the full version of web pages-not scaled down mobile versions. Can I change that option on the Motorola?
My screen all the sudden would not show any widgets or shortcuts.I think it started happening when sliding open the keyboard and the screens rotating.When i would get out of an app each 3 of the screens was just blank with my wallpaper the only thing there and the the menu slider button.

View 1 Replies View Relatedtoday I put my sd card into my sd card reader to throw some photos on to my computer. After I was done i put the sd card back into my droid and booted it up. After booting I get a notification saying my SD card is blank, so I turn off the phone and pull the battery out. When I grabbed my SD card it burnt my hand "literally" it was that hot... Wtf?!?! I put the SD card back in the reader and the computer doesnt even see the card. Idk if anyone has heard of a similar problem b4 and knows a fix...Thanks in advance! Side Note; I work at a cell phone repair store, so I put the sd card in two other blackberry's and they say "your sd card needs to be formated or it is corrupt". I would like to be able to press one button that will bring up my contacts. Contacts meaning people that I call. When I get to the the "All" part of my contacts it is listing like 900 contacts. ALL the people I have EVER emailed from my gmail account. I really only need about 50 contacts in here that I call on a regular basis. Do I have to erase every contact in there and start over?

* Samsung Galaxy S II (GT-I9100) running CyanogenMod 9 (Android 4.0.4).
* On the phone the Google Chrome Beta for Android.
* I have 2 Windows 7 Ultimate running Google Chrome dev channel. In both computers I'm loggin to Google Chrome (not only Gmail, the sync feature of the software).
The thing is this:
I only see the "Mobile bookmarks" on the Google Chrome Beta (on the phone) and also in only one of the Windows 7 computers.
I want to see the "Mobile bookmarks" in the 3 devices: 2 Windows 7 and 1 Android phone.
For about a month or so I bought an SonyEricsson X10 Mini. I was very satisfied with it, untill I discovered an major problem with the included webbrowser. As some webpages run smooth and well, most pages shows up as an pink box with an error message from the browser itself. The message is about the rendering of the page, and that some lines in the html-code have an error. Now most of the webpages on the web do have some minor errors, but it shouldn't prevent the browser to display the page. (for instance, browsing this forum with Internet Explorer it says in the downleft-corner "Finished, but with errors on the page", if I translate directly from Norwegian)
The box even appears at Sony Ericssons Update page for Wisepilot Navigation system. I got an message from the app, telling me to upgrade to a newer version. Clicking the upgrade-button opens the webbrowser, and this time I can only see raw HTML-code as the document. So what is it with my phone. I know more people have the same problem, as I work for an telecom-store that sells this phone here in Norway. Another customer called me, telling me about the same problem.
Does anybody know what that could be wrong with it? I have tried to Factory-reset it many times, even do the "Forced restart" method to ensure a clean start-up.

When using my sms app, I am looking for a way to display which phone number of my contact is used (mobile, work, home, ...)
The only thing showed is the contact name and his phone number.
With all the sms apps I've tried (stock, hangouts, hello sms, 8sms, evolvesms, chomp, handcent), I didn't find a way to display this information. I always have to do an extra action (clik on contact photo, or title bar) to check if the phone number concerned is 'work' or 'mobile'.
Any tip or a new app to show this info ?
