General :: SMS App Showing Mobile / Work Contact Number Information

When using my sms app, I am looking for a way to display which phone number of my contact is used (mobile, work, home, ...)
The only thing showed is the contact name and his phone number.
With all the sms apps I've tried (stock, hangouts, hello sms, 8sms, evolvesms, chomp, handcent), I didn't find a way to display this information. I always have to do an extra action (clik on contact photo, or title bar) to check if the phone number concerned is 'work' or 'mobile'.
Any tip or a new app to show this info ?

Is there a way of showing contact information on the first unlock screen (in case the phone gets lost). I've tried Contact Owner but it adds the information to the 2nd unlock screen - the one with the unlock pattern. Anyone know of an app that can do this? Or is it possible to change the wallpaper for the lock screen ONLY so that I could add it the wallpaper file using an image editor.

I searched on forums - net & got some guidelines to read the contacts & the phone number of a person. But could not find any way to retrieve the email-id from phone book. Does anyone know how to add a 2nd mobile # under a contact that has a mobile # saved .. i know a few people with 2 cell phone and would like to save both number under mobile 1 and mobile 2 or something of that nature?

Some contacts have different phone numbers. And when I send group SMS, the message is sent to the first number of the contact. So is there a software that can reorganize the position of the phone numbers? So that the mobile numbers are the first in the list.

My phone strips the area code from only one of my contacts preventing the text from going through. I have changed the contact name, deleted and readded, but anytime I try to text this particular number from the contact menu, it doesn't work.

My HTC weather app is showing me information for Chicago, but I live 140 miles south of Chicago. If I tap the weather info icon, I can do a search and it finds my local weather, but the desktop doesn't update, it stays on Chicago. I searched the menu information but can't seem to find any information on updating the information on the desktop

I have:
* Samsung Galaxy S II (GT-I9100) running CyanogenMod 9 (Android 4.0.4).
* On the phone the Google Chrome Beta for Android.
* I have 2 Windows 7 Ultimate running Google Chrome dev channel. In both computers I'm loggin to Google Chrome (not only Gmail, the sync feature of the software).
The thing is this:
I only see the "Mobile bookmarks" on the Google Chrome Beta (on the phone) and also in only one of the Windows 7 computers.
I want to see the "Mobile bookmarks" in the 3 devices: 2 Windows 7 and 1 Android phone.

Only the full website does. So I cannot see the pics from friend and no info.

I have been able in the past to get a contact to the top of the list by putting a number before their last name.
eg: 1 Smith John
This would bring them to the top of the list. I would do this with people I want to call, etc. the most.
I have been trying to get a contact to the top of the list by putting a 1 before the last name of a contact in my contact list on my S5 and it is not bringing them to the top.

In Android I can assign a preferred phone number for a contact.I would like to set a preferred contact for a phone number. If I get called and the number was added to multiple contacts (which is correct for my case), I would like to set another contact as the preferred contact when the number calls again.

I have recently got my samsung galaxy android phone. Today i downloaded some applications like power saver, no lock, etc. suddenly it started blinking system process information at right top of the screen. I have uninstalled all downloaded applications but system information keeps on blinking. Sometime it is occupying entire right side portion and i am unable to see screen content. System process information like "3.56/5.67/3.84 system_server akmd2 android.process.core" is displaying in low size text. It seems as it is showing information for debug purposes.
I have stopped all services, all application, etc. forcefully even then it keeps on displaying. Can anyone help me how to disable showing such information ?

I have a friend call David with phone number 11223344. I cannot see his phone from contact list. But when i dial his number, I can see his name when i type 1122. But when David calls me, as it is not in contact list, the phone only display 11223344 as incoming call, rather than his name. My phone is LG P990.

Anyone have any ideas? I can't imagine Pandora needs to know my co-workers email addresses to determine what songs I like. If there isn't another logical explanation I have to assume they're collecting contact data.

Just received my first HTC device (HTC Tattoo) and I have tryed several times to pared that for my old Nokia device for sending contact (Vcard) to my new and superb phone. Unfortunately I have no success on that. It will always inform me paired but not connected. In the Gmail app on my Incredible, when composing a message, i start by addressing the email in the "To" field. If I want to send an email to "Jonathon Blackburn" i start typing "jonat" and a list of emails comes up like: Jonathon Blackburn <jonblack@ Jonathon Blackburn <jonathon@ But the rest of the contact info is cut off, so I do not know which email I am selecting and whether it is office of home, etc. Is there a way to change the font/setting so that it includes the entire email address and whether it is a work or home address?

Sorry if this has been solved and is common knowledge now, but I haven't really been able to keep up with the forums over the past several months. Is there any way to sync birthdates entered in the information for a contact with the calendar on your phone? I've got the full page calendar widget, but none of the birthdates I enter for any of my contacts sync over to that calendar. Is there a way to do this and/or another app I could download that would solve this?

Alright, a couple very minor issues I'm having that I can't get figured out. One, how do you edit someone's contact information who is synced with Facebook? It says that I cannot do this (seems odd that the phone would be set up this way) to a facebook synced contact. The second is, how do I manually sync my contacts to add new FB friends to my Droid contact list? Third (I know I said I had two), how do you create a separate Family/Frienda/Coworkers list within the contacts program?

Facebook app will not work over mobile data on my GS3. It works fine over WiFi, but on mobile data its slow. I flashed the 4.1.2 leak i wonder if that has anything to do with it.

Will be going on a trip soon and roaming is expensive so data will be off most of the time. I'm thinking of using location history to keep a record of the trip route.
Does location history works without internet access? Will it store the location and sync when theres internet access or flat out don't work at all?
