View 4 RepliesI'm having a hard time finding an app that functions as a Voice Recorder, but it also attempts to convert your recording into text. This would be very help imfho.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat would y'all recommend? I see tons of them on AppBrain, but it doesn't seem that any of them do both things, and the few that do have ridiculous time limits o the records like 2-4 minutes.
View 7 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone else get poor quality out of their voice recordings? Audio on calls and on recorded video are perfect but voice memos have static.
View 2 Replies View RelatedVoice playback is basically shot. It plays back completely broken up and muffled with mostly static and crackling. It's to the point that it has to be broken, it's so bad, you can't even make a single word out. I have tried every which way of speaking into it and it is not a poor quality issue, I believe it is just not functioning properly. Phone calls and music playback are excellent and voice recognition is fine but voice playback is broken. I am wondering if it's the SD card since that is where it saves.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recorded some stuff with me on the drums on the native Voice Recorder App. 1 I can't find the file on my SD card, and 2 If I email it to myself it is in the format .amr which i don't recognize.3. Is there a better voice recorder? Better quality, different format files, editing, or easier to export?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've searched high and low, but I can't seem to find a voice recorder app with BOTH these features.
1) The app must have a home screen widget that allows me to start and stop recording without launching the app itself.
2) The app should let me dictate into a long single dictation every time I click record, rather than creating a separate voice file each time. The closest app I've found is voice recorder, but it insists on making each recording a separate file, rather than just appending a new recording to the end of the old one. Anyone know of a good app that can do these things?
Could someone tell me where the voice recorder is ? I cant find it anywhere !
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have searched these forums and can't find this answer. If I am missing it, please let me know and I apologize.I am trying to get some files I recorded on my Eris using the stock Voice Recorder app that came with the phone. When I look at the list of Voice Recorder files on the phone, at the top of the list, it says a file path:/sdcard/.voicerecorder/voices However, when I plug in the phone and mount the SD Card on my macbook running OSX 10.5, that path does not appear. Can anyone help please? I'd really like to get these files off the card.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am using the default voice recorder. Is it possible to configure that app so, from now on, it will automatically name new files "HelloWorld###" instead of the default file name "AUD###"?
View 1 Replies View RelatedDoes the Eris have a voice recorder or do you need to download an app? I'd like to be able to record class lectures if possible but if it does have a recorder is it limited to short memos?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI tried searching for this answer but didn't find quite what I was looking for. I have a file that I recorded with Voice Recorder app. It is saved as a .AMR file. I'd like to use this as a ringtone and send it to my wife to use on her PRE as a ringtone as well. I assume that I have to get it to a more usable format, like .MP3. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to do this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWe are a new company that is focused on Android development. We have completed and uploaded our Fusion Recorder application into the Android Market. We've worked hard to make sure that it is a reliable product and that it contains a solid set of features for version one (v.1). We are currently working on the designs for our our Website, facebook, and Twitter pages since posting our application. We look forward to adding features as we move forward.
We are interested in feedback from users and want to make sure our product(s) are as defect free as possible. So, if you do run into an issue, big or small, please shoot us an email at our support email.
Here are a some screen shots that show off the Fusion Recorder User Interface.
Also, if you don't see a feature you like please email that to us so we can add it to our Feature Request database. It may not be the next week we add it (we take testing seriously, which takes time). But we definitely will review such requests, which we understand are valuable.
Also, we were able to test this on a few Android Smartphones, but we are looking forward to seeing if there are any issues on phones we have not tested on. So, if you run into an issue please include, at the least, the Android Smartphone manufacturer, product name, Android OS version number (e.g. Android 2.2).
I'm looking for a solution to connect one android phone to another over bluetooth to share voice and maybe data service. What I want to do is use my old Dell Streak as a GPS/media player in my car without having service to it. I would like it to connect to my current phone so I can make call through it, like a headunit with hands free bluetooth calling. I'm not so much worried about data, though it would be a plus but I don't think Android supports connecting to ad-hoc networks. I can't seem to find any app that supports this, and I'm not seeing anywhere on the Android system where this is possible. I haven't owned a car stereo that supports bluetooth calling so I'm not sure what to look for.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got my Epic a few hours ago, and my girlfriend noticed that there seems to be no stock Voice Recorder application. Unfortunately thats something that very important because she records her nursing lectures. Am I missing it, or is there not one there. Also, if it is missing one, is there one in the market that works well, and that will work on the Epic?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an app that creates a new data entry in a sqlite db with several columns. I would like to have a simple share button on the final activity so they can share the results (or even a simple text field) with apps that accept it (email, mms, twitter, etc..). I did some reading on ContentProviders but the more I read, the more I'm thinking i'm heading down the wrong path.
View 2 Replies View RelatedYou know with Facebook, how you can share video on your sites and Facebook embeds the videos via flash.Well on computers and laptop the embeded video will play on Facebook since they have Flash installed. But for iPhone and Android users will just be redirected to the site, I want to stop this and add an alt text stated something like "Flash is needed to view", is this possible?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a meeting coming up at work next week that I think is in my best interests to record. Going through the Market I saw that some of the audio recorders are buggy, especially with the Droid. Can anyone recommend a stable, decent audio recorder that I can use? Also, before anyone asks, I am from a state where only one party needs to consent to recording, so there are no legal issues here. To be honest, I plan on asking everyone there if they mind if I record it anyway. Should any of them say no, I still won't have any problems recording it.
View 49 Replies View RelatedYou get the number from Google voice and obviously you can make calls. Why can't you just cancel your voice and text plan and just keep your data package and use it like that? Will T-Mobile allow that?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThere is a description about a product or event that people would like to share among them. This can be a simple text or rich text too.
They are looking into which format is the best for this purpose. They would like to see compatible with as many phones as possible. We are talking about phones that have Bluetooth.
Also the text is longer than the length of an SMS, so the SMS format is not suitable
What would you recommend?
And what do you think what would be the best way to share that between phones?
seems like a good idea to me. would it work?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC Incredible and can't seem to find where my camcorder recordings have been saved. I want to move them to my computer but can't seem to find them when I look in each of the folders.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to digest every possible piece of information I can on the Evo, and have been very anxious to get one on June 4th. But something I'm finding very little info or comments on is how terrible the audio quality is on video recordings. It's surprisingly very bad. The video quality is looking good, but that makes the bad audio just that much worse. I've noticed this on every sample video I've checked out on You Tube. It seems that it is slightly better on the Incredible, but still pretty sub-par. If you watch video recorded from the Motorola Droid or iPhone, you can hear what a difference it is. Is this just a HTC thing, or is it something that can be adjusted?
View 10 Replies View RelatedFor some time I have been trying to find an application that allows me to stream recordings from my mythtv 0.24 onto an android X10 2.1. I have tried going through mythweb and stream the recording via the built in flash file (flowplayer), but despite using a number different browsers have not managed to get it working.
Is anybody aware of an app being developed that allows you to watch these flash recording? or a just a better (and easier) way of watching my mythtv recordings.
I am just wondering if anyone would like to share pics of how you have you 7 screens setup.
