I have an HTC Incredible and can't seem to find where my camcorder recordings have been saved. I want to move them to my computer but can't seem to find them when I look in each of the folders.

Just started playing around with the camcorder app today. Which is a better file format to get the best quality the camcorder app is currently capable of? Are there pluses and minuses to one or the other. This might be a separate issue, but when I tried playing .mpeg4 videos back on Windows Media Player I did not have any sound, I have not tried h.263?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI rooted using unrevoked 3, installed unrevoked forever & radio update as well as cyanogenmod. now when i go to use the camcorder it freezes the phone and reboots every time. i thought the radio update was to allow the use of the camcorder? any help would be very much appreciated as i am still VERY new to all of this. just been using guides set up on these forums as walkthroughs.
View 4 Replies View RelatedLet me start off by saying I've been searching Google at home/work/while sleeping trying to find answers to my problem and haven't come up with anything that worked for me. In short I am running Skyraider 2.5.2 Sense and the camcorder is not working. Everything else, GPS, Flash, wireless tether, camera work perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Below are the steps I took since I first took the plunge into root.
Wiped cache did factory reset
Rooted phone with unrevoked
Installed Skyraider 2.5.2 Sense to verify I liked the build.
Used Unrevoked forever to siwtch S - OFF
verified S - OFF
Flashed radio to 2.15.00.07.28
Verified that SDcard is/was formatted with FAT32
Confirmed everything worked but the camcorder
Wiped phone
reverted back to 1.00 radio
re-installed skyraider
Confirmed everything worked but the camcorder
upgraded kernel to 2.6.32.15-king-HAVS-Oc-Uverik@Ubuntu #3

Everytime I take a pic or record something, the screen goes blank and I'm forced to restart the phone before its useable again. Anyone run into this and is there a solution?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI updated officially to Froyo 2.2 today from the VZW notification. Now, whenever I select my camcorder, it goes back to the home screen and does not launch. I removed a flashlight app that I had installed from the market. I restarted several times. Tried removing the battery for 15 minutes. All no help. any suggestions. Everything else seems to work properly.

I've been trying to digest every possible piece of information I can on the Evo, and have been very anxious to get one on June 4th. But something I'm finding very little info or comments on is how terrible the audio quality is on video recordings. It's surprisingly very bad. The video quality is looking good, but that makes the bad audio just that much worse. I've noticed this on every sample video I've checked out on You Tube. It seems that it is slightly better on the Incredible, but still pretty sub-par. If you watch video recorded from the Motorola Droid or iPhone, you can hear what a difference it is. Is this just a HTC thing, or is it something that can be adjusted?
View 10 Replies View RelatedFor some time I have been trying to find an application that allows me to stream recordings from my mythtv 0.24 onto an android X10 2.1. I have tried going through mythweb and stream the recording via the built in flash file (flowplayer), but despite using a number different browsers have not managed to get it working.
Is anybody aware of an app being developed that allows you to watch these flash recording? or a just a better (and easier) way of watching my mythtv recordings.
I tried to download a different swype version and it said my memory is full! How can this be? even if it's only trying to save on the 2gb micro sd card.I'm pretty sure there's no way I have 2 gigs of stuff on it. I have NO music on my phone and maybe 2 minutes of video 1-2 pics.

According to the picture settings in the phone, they should be in /100MEDIA folder but from my computer I don't see them. Where are the pictures being saved in the sd card?

View 1 Replies View RelatedBought a nexus 5 and cut and pasted 6 lecture recordings from my old GS3 to my nexus 5. Rooted the nexus 5 and deleted (accidentally) all the recordings. Is there any data recovery program or tool that I can use to retrieve them?
So, ctrl+x from gs3 ext memory card to ctrl+p onto nexus 5 internal storage. Wiped nexus 5 and now can't be found anywhere.

They'll stay for a day or two, then the contact will just disappear (not in phone or Gmail online). I've tried re-saving numerous times, same result. The stock media player for the Incredible $ucks number one because it only brings up an image of the video and has no other identifying feature such as a name for the video and number two I downloaded a third party app that has a better video player that does allow an image of the video and also a name of it but how do I go about renaming videos that I have taken. I tried on the computer and every time I selet a video to rename it, it tells me that renaming the video may make it unusable or something which obviously will defeat the purpose of making the video in the first place.

I recently had my DI replaced due to a tech issue, but before I switched over I backed up everything using "My Backup Pro".
When it backed up my contacts, it backed up EVERYONE - including 550+ people I follow in Twitter. I did not have these as visible in my People (phonebook) list, just in Twitter. When I synced with my new DI, My Backup Pro installed every contact to my People list, as the app must have thought it was all part of my phonebook. I tried to make the list invisible like I had it on my original phone, but that did not work, so I deleted each Twitter contact manually from my People list. They no longer show in my People list (though are available to be made visible from Twitter).
This did not solve the problem. Any app that accesses my contact list (even Search People) displays the FULL list which includes my Twitter contacts. There is no long-press or menu options available to hide them.
I am willing to clear my contacts and upload the list again, as they are all backed up to my Google account, but I am afraid it would sync with the server and delete what is saved there.
Any advice on how to clear my contact list of my Twitter followers, or start over with my Google-saved contacts?
