Is it possible to share my video or my photo from my application on the web in android?If possible how to do this? I made a application and now i want to share some my feature on the web so how i can do it?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI took the video of my grandson swearing in to the U. S. Air Force on my Droid Bionic phone using COLOR and thinking I was broadcasting it live, but evidentally I was not. SO now I have it on my phone only and cannot find a way to share the video. I am deathly afraid it will get damaged or lost. His mom died in a homicide and needless to say this is a valuable piece of family memory to me to risk losing if the phone gets lost or damaged.
View 4 Replies View RelatedYesterday I took a picture and wanted to send it to my brother. I wanted to send him a URL to an uploaded file so I could then share that URL with others in the future. I did not want to email a picture because, frankly, it's not as easy as pasting a URL in a GTalk window.
I spent about 10 minutes thinking of all the ways I could do this using Google services and couldn't find any way to do it on my phone. Here are the options I considered:
Option 1) Upload to Google Plus - but viewing the photo in G+ app doesn't provide a public link. SHaring option only presents your standard email, mms, etc. options. Option 2) Upload to Picasa - but I get the same sharing options as G+ - no option to grab a link. Option 3) Google Drive. This was the last option, but of course it only presents the same options as before. Now, I can create a public link when I'm at a computer, but not on my Android device.
So I ended up having to upload via the imgur app and just sending that link. I'm okay with that for now, but I'm already uploading to G+ automatically; why can't I just get a public url through the app?
That whole process was very disappointing. I wish Google would give us some way, any way, to share a file via URL through a Google App - specifically, Drive.
the stock one on the droid stinks. i'm currently using nswviewer but i'm not in love with it either. i would like something with customizable folders and possibly flick to the next pic...not click.

Found this topic on the Droid forum. I find it pretty interesting and pretty interesting that the Eris can keep up with the Droid and that no flash isn't as big of an issue as you would think.
Might change some minds if the flash feature is something you thing is big when deciding between Eris and Droid.
Does anyone know if there is a way to change the default storage locations for video or photos taken with the Moto Droid?

For example: I am in a train and I have a movie in my android phone and I want to see it but also share it with my friend on his tablet. I would like to see it in both devices at the same time. Is this possible? Do I need to download an app for this, to sync the reproduction of the video or music?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with a video that I am trying to upload or share.I can share via facebook or gmail, but am stuck right now because it says that the file is too large.It's about 2 min of video, so I don't know how big that is since I cant find the actual size anywhere.Any idea how I can get it off the phone if I don't have an sd card reader?I guess I could mount the phone to my laptop and copy to my regular comp, but I was hoping there was an easier way to do it?

After reading the terms and conditions, unless I mis-read, it seems like the host (server) can do whatever they want with the files.
I thought the point was to keep them safe. Say you have a slutty girlfriend who takes pictures and sends them to you (just an example, of course...) - hiding these pictures in the gallery and/or locking them seems like a no-brainer - but what's the point if the people who run the server that you upload/"backup" the photos to can do whatever they want (reproduce, etc)?
Anyone know if there is a an app (paid or free) that guarantees safe keeping/privacy?

When in photo albums, instead of a thumbnail of the video in question, the phone created a thumbnail of a video I have recorded previously and then deleted. Does anyone know how to make the phone recreate all thumbnails for the media files? I am leaning towards deleting all the files in /sdcard/DCIM/.thumbnails/ but not sure this is the way to do it?

If I pull up a photo I just took, I have the option of sending it to Facebook, as well as tagging it. I can't figure out how to do this on my Moment.

Has anyone else experienced a strange problem with the Milestone (running 2.1) camera - in every photo, the right edge shows a thin vertical strip of the next photo! Shows in both Gallery & Media Gallery.. but don't have a similar issue in a video.

I can do this using the stock "Files" application by going to Shared Folders Add Server. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it with Root Explorer.The device I want to connect to (ReadyNAS Duo) supports CIFS and NFS, and I don't care which one of those I use if that helps.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAm trying to drag/drop files from my Droid to my PC and back but cannot figure this out to save my life. I want to do it via wifi,not bluetooth. I DL es file explore but I cannot get my PC to recognize my Droid like it would if I connected via USB and mounted. How in the world do I get it so I can swap files back and forth? ES keeps asking for a password and I have no clue what password it wants. I did my initial logon password and it got me in but past that it's a no go. Not to mention the biggest prob is trying to get the PC to recognize it has the Droid connected and looking at files on its network. I'm using Vista and am rooted using Droidmod.

Not bad for a cell phone camera, imo. Sorry, but I didn't have time to do some other examples, Canon T1I, 18-55mm lens, set to 8MP, full auto On the left HTC Evo 4g, 8MP, full auto On the right.
