I am testing the opengles 2.0 on the Froyo(SDK2.2) for the code thing and make it as normal. but it has been failed all the time. Always it says, "No configs match configSpec" what prablem is here? isn't opengl es 2.0 working on the android sdk 2.2?

Cant seem to get any apps to install to the SD card, even ones that are listed that support app2sd, google sky map for example. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app.Do I have to format / partition the SD card in order for the native froyo app2sd feature to work?When I plug the phone into my PC I get the following folders ".android_secure" but its empty. When go into manage applications, and click on the SD card tab, no apps are displayed. when I click on the downloads tab, and then google sky map the "move to SD card" is greyed out.

For these HTTPS connections with the HttpClient I am using a custom SSL socket factory implementation to make sure self-signed certificates are working. Basically, I accept everything and ignore every checking of any certificate.This has been working fine for some time now, but it no longer work for Android 2.2 FroYo.
Again, I don't understand why it suddenly stopped work, or even what the error 'Broken pipe' means. I have seen messages on Twitter that Seesmic and Twidroid fail with SSL enabled on FroYo as well, but am unsure if it's related.
I just updated to froyo and there are 2 issues. Video camera freezes after recording a clip, and the GPS wont work. It would normally detect my location in less than 15 seconds, but now takes forever. The only way to locate is using wifi or mobile network. it: Unmounted SD card, restarted device, took battery out for 30 secs and put it back. Everything works as it should now.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a droid x n have been trying to get hulu to play since I got the phone. I was told that 2.2 would have flash 10.1 support. When I got the update july worked flawlessly. A few hours later every video gave me a "this video is unavailable, if u continue to receive this message clear ur cache" so I did n nothing changed. I went check my flash n the flash player had uninstalled itself. I reinstalled n applied the update n got the same result. I tried other flash sites n they r not working(only flash games work, no videos).
I brought my phone to Verizon n they gave me a replacement saying it should b able to play. The new phone is doing the same thing. Is this a skimmed down version of flash or is the flash support crazy? Y will this not play after hours of flawless performance? It also freezes the browser everytime, full episode or clip, any show. Is there a Divx web player yet? I know u can use ur pc as a server to stream them through, but can I pull up movies from icefilms.info or alluc.org directly through the browser?
While I know you can use camera magic for your camera needs with a froyo rom..figured I'd share the good news. There is a CELB 1.9 rom (aka erislightning bolt froyo) that has WORKING cam...the gallery still goes funky when you try to view sideways but the cam DOES indeed have a working preview!

It can no longer kill another program after setting the countdown timer. I used to use it every night to listen to music and then have it shut everything down. My understanding after talking with the developer is that Froyo has removed the ability for developers to kill programs. Supposedly with root access there is workaround, but I am not rooted. Unfortunate, it's a great app and hopefully something that will be allowed in future Android versions.

Since i got froyo, when i plug it in, the red/orange light just blinks on and off and my screen turns on and off. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem but i have to be able to charge!

If I turn off USB debugging everything works fine, the phone charges and the DX applet launches like normal. Turning on USB debugging kills everything, phone doesn't charge, applet doesn't launch & ADB doesn't find my device. I'm running Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Any ideas?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed 2.2 the ligit way, searched for updates and asked if I wanted to download 2.2 so I did. Now HTC Sense will not even start when I switch on the phone. The phone starts and then says "loading..." and while it's loading it shows that lovely application error, normally you just click "force close" but application that's breaking is actually HTC Sense and the "force close" button is grayed out, then the phone restarts with the white screen and green HTC logo and then gets to the "loading..." part and then HTC Sense breaks again and the phone is stuck in an infinite loop.

I followed the instructions here and on the Internets and was successfully able to update my phone in the following order: Now I am unable to *228 and program with either a 1 or a 2. The message "programming in progress" does come up but after about 10 seconds, the voice tells me that I cannot update at this time and I should call customer service. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to troubleshoot. I assume its due to the upgrade and not a coincidence.

View 32 Replies View RelatedAnybody else having this problem in 2.2? I'm not sure if it ever worked or whether it stopped working since I did the update last night. I tried changing the pulse notification light setting and doing a reboot bit no luck. I googled the problem and a few other people have reported the same problem but no solutions.
I've only tested email notifications and app updates.
My camera is not working since the FROYO udate.

I'm just updating to the newest leak, but froyo is awesome. When i first installed (CW) i lost root... i did another android and it has worked fine. I love BB but this base ROM is so fast, stable and fantastic... Ive had 2 FC's in 3 days, and no issues. Ive updated to the new baseband and it helped my signal issues... I'm running team chaos theme and i LOVE the black and white combo. I'm Daniel and Froyo is working great for me.

after updating (the official update) my HTC Desire to Froyo 2.2 I cannot capture any Video (any resolution). It happens that I press the trackball and the timer (on the upper-right corner) disappears and nothing works anymore (menu, etc...), only the Home button allow me to go back to the home panel. After doing that, the battery die in a few minutes and the phone is very slow: i.e. some video camera service is still up and running and consuming battery.
