View 2 RepliesSo I got doubleTwist hoping for a nice easy sync to get all of my music from iTunes onto my phone. The problem is that I haven't purchased songs on itunes in over a year and I guess now they have something called iTunesPlus, which costs $0.30/song to upgrade to (and remove DRM) and doubleTwist can't convert my iTunes purchases to a playable format due to DRM protection. Is there another music sync service for Android that you guys would recommend that can help me actually put the music that I already paid for once on my phone? I'm not interested in giving Jobs another $182 just to listen to music I already paid for.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI know I could download the ones I want using itunes and then drag and drop them into my sd card. However I really like the way Google Listen is setup, it took a bit of getting used to thou. Theres a few podcasts that wont show up on Listen but I can easily find on Itunes. Is there a link I can grab from the Itunes site and copy it into Listen?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm new to Android and am coming from an iPhone. I would love to put music on my phone and just use that as a music player, however all of my music is on iTunes. Is there any way or a program that can put music from iTunes on to the Captivate?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble transferring songs AND playlists from iTunes to my Samsung Captivate. I've tried a lot of things and every one of them just transfers over the songs from the playlist and not the actual playlist. I really like the Music Player Samsung has and I want to use that one, but nothing seems to transfer playlists to it. I've tried doubletwist (only transfers the music, not the playlists), iTunes agent, (same) dazzboard (doesn't work at all), and songbird (so buggy and slow, impossible to use... gave up) There has to be some way to get that player to work with iTunes or to import everything from iTunes and use it with the Samsung Music Player.
View 3 Replies View RelatedTalk crap if you want but I am tired of going to different sites or apps to get all of my media content. Is there an itunes like app where I can download podcasts, movies, music, tv shows, etc from ONE CENTRALIZED PLACE. I know about doubletwist and the others but in my opinion this is one thing that will help shoot android past apple. Say what you will but the fact is that most people who have an android phone don't know how to use it, and want a simple go to place that they can get their media from. As much as I love my phone, I have come to realize that 99% of the people that I know or have met with an android phone only bought it for the trend factor. From my point of view I think that this specific group is willing to spend money and voraciously consume media. The easier things like this are made, the easier it will be for android to thrive.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThis guide is an easier, edited version of a article I read online. The source can be found at the bottom.
For those of you coming from iPhones/iPods and have massive clean & organized music with iTunes, there is indeed a way to sync your music for free to your android phone. If you like it, support the project, the software I'm about to talk about is free.
iTunes Agent - Windows based software that reads iTunes, keeps organization and brings the files to your Android Phone.
iTuneMyWalkman - Mac users that are smart enough to know that there are other Mp3 players other than iPods, install this software instead of iTunes Agent.
1.) Download iTunes Agent,
2.) ---> Once Installed, the software will run in the system tray.
3.) Plug in your Android (EVO 4G in this guide.) and mount it as a hard drive. The software is going to write files to your SD Card.
4.) ---> Create a folder on your SD Card titled Music. I will explain why below.
I tried to use sailing sync-er but for some reason it didn't copy all of my songs it was weird it only copied over about 25% of my songs.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis has probably been asked before, but I can't find it. So I have a folder of MP3s on my laptop, and the same MP3s on my Vibrant. If I want something that would sync the two -- delete from laptop and it delete from phone, add to laptop and it adds to phone, etc. -- what's the best app for that?

View 9 Replies View Relatedbeen using it for near a couple weeks now. loving it by the way, don't know why i hadn't switched long ago. i would like your input on how to transfer my music from itunes to my android device, along with the album art and all the id3 tags and all. i've spent long periods of time over the years organizing my music in itunes with album art, artist name, track/song name, additional info and wouldn't want to go through the whole process again. i tried transferring one album by airdroid, then opening it in poweramp, but it switched out artist and album names (album name was identified as artist and vice versa) and no album art.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSo I'm on twitter and someone sent me this link to a new web based client called Dazzboard. It lets you sync media to your Android device as well as browse the contents of the marketplace via this client (like the app store on iTunes). It's currently in BETA and only supports Windows and the Internet Explorer or Firefox browser. I haven't used it yet but I have played around with the demo and it looks nice...How do you feel about having a web based client instead of a download like iTunes? Would this be useful to you?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am looking to sync up all of my devices (go android for phone and tablet, or apple for phone and tablet).
The thing I like most about the apple stuff is the Itunes movie/book store.
Basically I can buy movies and put them on my tablet/pc/iphone (with the future cloud streaming) from the Itunes store...Granted the stupid Ipad doesnt have a way to do TV out so I heard.
I want to stick with Android since I like the OS and I like the open nature of the software. However, there is no one place that I can go to get all my Media like the Itunes store. This is especially true for Movies/TV shows. It would be nice to have all of my movies on either a cloud or on my tablet so that when I travel, I can watch them or link them to a TV.
I know right now I can rip my DVDs to MP4 format, but I like just downloading a movie when I want to. I dont want to have to go to 5 different places to find what I wanted to see.
Basically does anyone know if Google is planning on making some sort of integrated market that has TVshows/Movies/Movie Rentals/Ebooks?
i need an application that will let me sync my music along with my iTunes playlists to the droid

View 3 Replies View RelatedWe still haven't figured this out? Apple still slaps DRM all over their video content? I want to buy a season of a show from iTunes to watch on my Nexus and I won't be able to because of DRM. I don't want to pay $40+ for a crappy DRM-Remover app. Is there really no legal/easy way to watch iTunes-purchased videos on my Android device??
