I've done a little research on this, with no luck. Basically Does anyone know if Google is planning on, or is already working on a music management app (like iTunes). I use iTunes to sync up my iPod and manage play lists. I would LOVE to be able to use a Google product to manage play lists and sync songs to my Hero. If Google is not planning on this, is there a third party app which can be used to sync my Hero to iTunes?

View 1 Replies View Relatedbeen using it for near a couple weeks now. loving it by the way, don't know why i hadn't switched long ago. i would like your input on how to transfer my music from itunes to my android device, along with the album art and all the id3 tags and all. i've spent long periods of time over the years organizing my music in itunes with album art, artist name, track/song name, additional info and wouldn't want to go through the whole process again. i tried transferring one album by airdroid, then opening it in poweramp, but it switched out artist and album names (album name was identified as artist and vice versa) and no album art.

I want to buy a season of a show from iTunes to watch on my Nexus and I won't be able to because of DRM. I don't want to pay $40+ for a crappy DRM-Remover app. Is there really no legal/easy way to watch iTunes-purchased videos on my Android device??

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have just got a Motorola Milestone 2 and have used MotoCast to transfer my iTunes music over. I listen to a lot of radio plays in mp3 format on my iPad and Mac, as well as my Android phone. If I tell iTunes that the plays are Audiobooks and to remember the position that's no problem, they can pick up where I left off across the iPad and Mac, but I can't seem to do this in Android.
I use Poweramp on Android to listen to the plays and have experimented but can't seem to get it to sync where I last played.
Is there anyway to get an itunes software onto an android and get it to front load as the main screen upon boot up?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI really like how iTunes is set up and keeps track of what podcasts are watched etc and how you can just plug in the iPod and everything is all synced. This is the main reason I've held on to my iPod. Do one of these syncing apps identically mimic how iTunes works with apple products? So basically i could plug my phone in, check off the podcasts and click sync? I was hesitant to pay for one of them without knowing for sure if it worked identical to iTunes without a bunch of extra steps.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI love the native music player that comes stock on android (via google music). I also use a mac, and I'm in Canada (so I can't take full advantage of the google music service, I.E. storing music in the cloud and managing it that way. In order to put music on my android phone i simply select the songs in my itunes and and drag them into the music folder in Android File Transfer. This works, however, there is one problem: the songs aren't organized into folders, which makes it extremely difficult to organize / delete music from my phone when I want to, as the songs are organized as 01 01 01 01 01 01 02 02 02 02 02 02 03 03 03 03 etc. I tried to right click the music folder and say new folder but it won't create that folder in the music folder. I tried moving the songs into that folder then dragging it into the music folder but that won't work.
I really don't want to use double twist, because I have in the past, and I don't really like it all that much. I just want my files to be organized into folders so that when I can delete them later when I want to.

These binaries are commonly checked for completeness and if need be, repair, by using a utility called QUICK PAR. It is made for Windows but can be used on Linux using Wine. I am wondering if there is a version or equivalent for use on my Droid X. A Google search turns up nothing.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am quite impressed by the workflow I follow when developing Android applications: Define a layout in an xml file and then write all the code in a code-behind style. Is there an equivalent style for the web? I mean, with a predefined list of widgets that can be defined using a markup language and then control them using code? I have come across Google's Web Toolkit that does something like this but I'd like to hear what other's think as well.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am new to the Droid world and was curious as to if there was a real competitive Voice Command app, similar to MS's? I came over from ATT using Win Mobile devices. While I disliked many things about WinMobile, I really liked the Voice Command. It wasnt perfect but I liked using it. I even thought it was great how it would read Text messages aloud to me through the speaker when I received them.Is there anything that can do that or more for Android phones yet? I know they have the basic Voice Calling thing but is there anything else? Maybe even something that will read text messages outloud when they arrive?

I know there is Calorie Counter, but from what I can tell it only counts calories of foods, it's not necessarily a diary of your calories, carbs, fats, fibers, etc. that you eat each and every day. For those who know about Lose It! and would like to see it on Android, you can send an email to them requesting it and hope for the best. I already have.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to transfer some iTunes music files over to my Galaxy S2. I've done this before but can't figure what I did to make it happen again.
I'm pretty sure that last time I did this I just connected the Galaxy to the iMac using a regular USB cable which then showed up on the background of the Mac as a media device. I then just clicked on the music I wanted to transfer in iTunes and dragged that over to the device. Simple as. Now however, when I connect the phone to the Mac it doesn't show up at all. On the phone itself it says "connected as a media device" but as I say, no sign of it on the Mac. I've tried several different cables and USB ports with same result.
I currently have the Galaxy S3 and I should receive my Galaxy S4 later this week. I would like to know the easiest way to transfer apps and my iTunes library to my new S4..
I have ~ 20 apps and, if necessary, I don't really mind re-installing them all when I get the S4. But is there an app that I can install on my current S3 that will back them up (like iTunes with the iPhone), and re-install them on any new Android phone?
Also, I will be getting a 64 gb card for my new S4. I have 55 gb in my iTunes library on my PC and I have never before imported them to an Android phone. Is there also an app that will let me do this, and keep my only playlist (3500 songs)?
