I swear, sometimes I feel like my phone's vibration is louder than its ringer. When I'm in class or something, I am afraid to leave it on vibrate because its vibrations are very loud. Same thing as in the library.Anyway to soften the vibration?

It downloads the ringer but I can't access it. When I try to open it after I send it it says "no app can be found to open the file". What am I doing wrong???

I know that you can make it so there is NO vibration while you are typing text messages. I had it turned off, but I wiped and now I cannot find where to go in order to turn it off again. So my question is, does anyone know how to turn the vibration off for the dial pad? I got it turned off for texting and I have the noise off for the dial pad just can't seem to get the vibration off. The reason I ask is because my dial pad is realllllllyy laggy. Like it takes 2-3+ seconds for a number that you press to show up and I feel like the vibration is the reason for the lag.
Had Locale and used a basic setting to turn my ringer off during work based on time of day...put it back on after work.
Is there anything in the marketplace that would work for me? I've read many bad reviews on Locale and don't want to risk it for $10. Not averse to paying for a good app that someone can vouch for!

anyone know how to turn it off? after the update to 2.1, this feature seems to be gone. seems the only way to turn off vibration when receiving an incoming text message is to put the phone on silent. but then you miss incoming calls. also, my htc weather widget doesn't work either. keeps saying "no weather data available", no matter if I have the mobile network on or Wi-fi. anyone else having this issue?

If I happen to be in front of the phone, I can see the screen change showing an incoming call.If I am listening to Pandora Radio, when the phone rings, Pandora stops, but the phone never rings.If I am not near or looking at the phone this results in missing the call.If I shut off the phone and re-boot it appears to ring fine, but at some point later in the day or week it will quit ringing.I normally never turn off the phone. Should I start to re-boot every day?

I can barely hear the ring tone much less the notifications and I downloaded songs but that doesn't increase the volume for them.

The only tome I had any frustrations was getting the clips unhooked also removing the cracked piece from the super strong adhesive. View 1 Replies View RelatedI attended a seminar and simply turned the volume all the way down (i.e. Menu, Sound & Display, then Ringer Volume). But when I got out of the seminar, and went back to Ringer Volume, it's now grayed out as is Phone ringtone, Phone Vibrate, Notification Sound and all the others below until you get to Emergency Tone and below, where those are back to being bright white. i.e. now when I touch the grayed out Ringer Volume, it does nothing and I'm stuck with vibrate only.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm moving over to Sprint.I'd rather not pay the $10 4G fee (or whatever you want to call that $10 fee), so I'll probably stick with a 3G phone.Is the Hero the best option? What I really need the phone to be able to do is voice calling, text, email, web browsing, etc. I'm not a power user, so I don't think I'd use the full power of the Evo anyway, so that's another reason to stick with the Hero.And if I understand correctly, I'd be eligible for upgrade pricing after 1yr with Sprint.
