Mar 9, 2010I tried several alarm clocks on my droid, and they all seem to have a problem. if I set alarms for 6:30, 6:41, and 6:52 am. Each with a different sound. If i snooze alarm 1, alarm 2/3 never goes off. i thought all 3 would be seperate, but it seems only 1 can be active at a time. unless im doing something wrong. this happens on the default alarm clock and, better alarm clock.

Nov 9, 2009My clock widgets have all shown the correct time and place since I received my Hero. On Saturday, all of a sudden the clock is off by 5 hours but showing the correct location. I restarted my phone and the correct time would show up, but as soon as the phone sleeps and I wake it up, the clock is off by 5 hours again!!! I checked the settings for the clock and it is set to the network time and gps for current location. I had to download a clock widget off the market because I could not figure it out. Anyone?

Sprint HTC Hero :: Uploading Ringer From Computer To Phone?
Jan 27, 2010I'm having problems uploading a ringer from my computer to my phone. I sent the ringer using funformobile.com just like all my other phones(storm, instinct, etc.). It downloads the ringer but I can't access it. When I try to open it after I send it it says "no app can be found to open the file". What am I doing wrong???

Android :: No Sound From Ringer / Alarm
Aug 16, 2010This morning when my alarm was supposed to go off, it didn't. I happened to wake up. I could see the alarm icon flashing on the screen. Later I set a new alarm and no sound. I tried dialing my phone and got no ring tone. I checked on the settings and everything was correct. No silent mode, etc. So then i shut the phone down and restarted it. Then everything was working fine. But..the alarm sound not working or phone sound not working is not good. You could not tell its not working until its too late.

Basically I use my phone as an alarm to get up for work. My old Nokia N96 I could set the alarm and then switch the phone off at night and the alarm would still go off on time. This does not seem to be the case with the X10i. It doesn't even go off when the phones in airplane mode which is poor. I just don't want to have to leave my phone on overnight in case it rings and i wake up.
Are there any good alarm apps that allows you to turn the phone off and the alarm would still ring at 6.30 for work?

May 27, 2010I never had this problem until upgrading to 2.1. I have my clock process excluded in my task manager, I check the volume level every night through Audio Manager and even in the clock app - and it is not going off. I set alarms for everything, so this is very frustrating.
I can set a test alarm for two minutes from now and it will go off with no issues at full volume. But if I leave it alone for awhile, the alarm won't go off. I think the most reasonable thing to assume here is that it has something to do with the clock not updating until you turn the phone on. I don't know what to do.

May 20, 2010This morning my alarm went off like every morning, got up picked the phone up and hit dismissed. The alarm screen went a way but the sound did not. I pushed every button possible. I could not get it to stop and i could not turn the phone off. Finally I had no other option but to pull the battery. Any one else experience this with the new 2.1 update??

Jan 17, 2010I read that the flip clock is a battery drainer, so I figured I'd switch it out. I like the HTC weather, but I sorta want a digital clock.
HTC's alarm settings etc. are great, I'd like to keep those setting as the clocks that are on the market I'm guessing won't have as many features if they're free.
But can I swap my HTC clock widget yet still have HTC run my alarm? I'm not really sure if I can do this or not, but I didn't want to download/install a clock over the stock one and need to get it back, so I was wondering if anyone had done this before.

Oct 13, 2009Been trying hard since sunday to figure out how to add custom alarms to the alarm clock. I just miss alot of my alarms and want to be able to continue to use them on the Hero. so far everything I have tried does not work. I even created a "Media" folder with 3 sub folders "Alarms", "notifications", "Ringtones" even by placing them in these folders still nothing. I have been able to use the media player to add my music as a ringtone, however the music I have placed in the ringtone folder does not show up either in my phone.

Aug 23, 2010Before the update I could hold down the volume button and go from from an audible ringtone down to vibrate and if I kept pressing the button, it would completely turn the ringer off. After the update once it gets to Vibrate it will NOT turn the ringers off now.
