Sprint HTC Hero :: Syncing Music Playlists
Dec 21, 2009Is there a way to sync music and also PLAYLISTS onto the Hero? I know I can easily drag-n-drop files onto my Hero's SD card, and also use programs like MediaMonkey or Windows Media Player to sync music, but I can't seem to sync playlists. I have to manually create playlists on the Hero music app on the phone, and that is a pain.

Feb 21, 2010I am using TuneWiki and I am having a hell of a time with playlists. Not making them, that is a snap using Winamp, but getting rid of them when they are not wanted. Sometimes playlists seem to self generate from file transfers (am pretty sure I could find those root files on SD card), but some are just not used anymore and are empty. If I could consistantly delete them in TuneWiki it would be no sweat either, but no all will give that option when I hold my finger on them. So where are they stored on the SD card, and if not there how can I get rid of them?

Jan 16, 2010So I was originally using Double Twist which was great until I changed up a couple of playlists. So I deleted all the files off media card and I am now using Salling, which is way better. But now when I go to Music I have Double Playlist one with music and one empty. I have gone through the sd card and don't see anything in there or any reference to Double Twist, any ideas how to delete these empty playlists?

Also when I try to remove applications using the settings > application manager, none of them have delete or remove buttons...

Jan 29, 2014There is an annoying playlist on my Nexus 5 on Play Music app. It is under Auto Playlists and is called "Last added". I can't seem to delete it, which is annoying. I don't know if these auto playlists will go away after some time by themselves, but if not, do any of you know how to delete the playlist?
Btw, I used iSyncr to transfer my music from Mac to phone, and I didn't have that playlist before.
Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 : Mediascape Playlists - No Option To Delete
Apr 20, 2010While transferring songs onto the SD card, there were M3U playlist files in those folders. After deleting them off the card, they still appear in Mediascape. Doing a long press on the playlist only brings up the slide with the album art (like on timescape), and no option to delete.
Is there anyway to delete these?

I'd really like to find a way to automatically delete stuff on the Hero as I delete stuff on the exchange server. Is there a way to do this without involving another program?

Jan 11, 2010Well so I am trying to delete a massage thread and my hero goes crazy.After I press delete thread the message app is unresponsive then I get an error and I can't even get online. I have to reboot in order for the phone to go online. A.d guess what the messages I wanted to delete r still there. Oct 18, 2009I added some bookmarks to the Bookmark Widget that i don't want any longer, but i can't figure out how to delete them. I found another post about the G1 where it said to long press, but that only allows the whole widget to be removed and not individual bookmarks.
I've tried changing the name/link of the bookmarks and all that does is add another bookmark. Please help, now i have too many bookmarks i don't want.

And noticed there's not always an option to Uninstall on these and some others.
Is it possible to remove, delete, uninstall, or get them off the device?
Is there any way to remove the pre-installed Sprint programs?

Nascar
Are there some "core apps" or "core programs" that can't be removed?
A brief search on this matter on related threads seems to indicate only on "rooted" phones.

Aug 9, 2010I use Handcent for my SMS text app. I have about 6k texts on my phone now. Haven't deleted any since 2.1 came out and I needed to format. Sometimes my phone CRAWLS when receiving or sending a text. I mean it'll take 2-3 minutes just to send or receive a text. Handcent will hang for that long. When I power down the phone it usually improves responsiveness in Handcent but I'm wondering if I should delete the threads? Will I notice an improvement in text speed? I have no idea how much space a text message uses but I'm also wondering if I'm wasting internal memory space too. I don't have many picture messages. They are mostly just text messages.
