I recently tried to add a bookmark, but it never showed up in the widget I have. Is it because there are too many? If so, how do i go about deleting current bookmarks?

I added some bookmarks to the Bookmark Widget that i don't want any longer, but i can't figure out how to delete them. I found another post about the G1 where it said to long press, but that only allows the whole widget to be removed and not individual bookmarks.
I've tried changing the name/link of the bookmarks and all that does is add another bookmark. Please help, now i have too many bookmarks i don't want.
How do I import my bookmarks? I want to have a separate screen with a few bookmarks but how do i do it? I have a bunch in my google bookmarks but how do i get them to the stock browser and he phone?
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I am using the brorwer and I go to a website, and after I am done looking at whatever it is I looked at I just just hit the home button and it take me out of the browser. Now when I go to use the browser again it pulls up with the last website I was looking at. I hit the menu key and usually have to tap bookmarks and then tap my homescreen bookmark. Is there an alternative way to load my homescreen ?

I forgot to ask as well.I've searched online and the "chin" hero seems to have a little dent where you can prop it open. View 3 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone last night following the guide and the help of a wonderful forum member and it went smoothly. I'm still on 1.5 and will stay here awhile 'till I get the nerve again to do a 2.1. I need to get used to the fact that I did just root my phone.
With all that said I have root explorer on my phone. I was going to use the list of safe apps that can be removed and I was going to cut and paste them into a backup directory in case I do something wrong. Does this sound safe and cautious? Or I was thinking about using Fresh Kitchen but I think I have to have that Rom on my phone and I don't want to go there yet. I would appreciate any suggestions on the safest way and easiest way to get rid of those apps.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am currently running both IM & Gtalk for IM'ing purposes, but I am trying to move to eBuddy just so I can have everything in the same place at the same time. I am running a rooted phone Fresh 1.1 and I am using pre-kitchen. Problem: I have tried deleting IM multiple times using Kitchen, but every time it reboots IM is still there. Debugging is on and I have made sure I am logged out before I tried uninstalling. Also, I am trying to get rid of GTalk since I am no longer going to use it either. But it does not show in the Market > My Downloads. Is there any other way of deleting it that you may know of?
View 2 Replies View Relatedok, so i downloaded zenexp, and its prolly the best rom Ive used so far. only problem Ive ran into are the widgets, they all have this tacky bubble around them. i flashed the update.zip and it worked until i change themes, they all go back to the bubble-style widgets.

And noticed there's not always an option to Uninstall on these and some others.

Are there some "core apps" or "core programs" that can't be removed?
A brief search on this matter on related threads seems to indicate only on "rooted" phones.
I rooted my phone and my husbands phone about 2 months ago. We LOVE it.. now I'm having a major blonde (no offense) moment.. I can't figure out how to remove apps we don't want..how to remove apps thru command prompt and nothing I try seems to make it communicate it w/the phone..maybe there's an app I can download instead?

Is there a good way to remove screen with an air duster? Using a specific method? I will be heading into the Sprint Store tomorrow to see what all they can do, but I don't really want to have to re-root my phone again, especially if I get a phone that may already be setup to not be rooted (New firmware/software package) perhaps.
