How do I import my bookmarks? I want to have a separate screen with a few bookmarks but how do i do it? I have a bunch in my google bookmarks but how do i get them to the stock browser and he phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI added some bookmarks to the Bookmark Widget that i don't want any longer, but i can't figure out how to delete them. I found another post about the G1 where it said to long press, but that only allows the whole widget to be removed and not individual bookmarks.
I've tried changing the name/link of the bookmarks and all that does is add another bookmark. Please help, now i have too many bookmarks i don't want.
When I am using the brorwer and I go to a website, and after I am done looking at whatever it is I looked at I just just hit the home button and it take me out of the browser. Now when I go to use the browser again it pulls up with the last website I was looking at. I hit the menu key and usually have to tap bookmarks and then tap my homescreen bookmark. Is there an alternative way to load my homescreen ?

In this phone it is reading as zero. In any other phone 100+.The only work around that I can think of is to upgrade my Outlook client, export to a CSV file, import into Google mail, sync across and then import into the People folder.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got my hero about a week ago and since then I'm still trying to import my contacts from outlook, but no picture imported although in outlook they appear with picture. All my contacts with picture in outlook were backed up from my old iphone. I tried to synchronize my hero with those contacts, but no picture. After that i tried to export contacts from outlook in a *.vcf file, uploaded them into google contacts, but still no picture. Also another problem: i deleted all my contacts in google and then synchronized my phone with it, but instead of downloading them from the hero, it appears that google overwrites the phone contacts. Is there any way to overwrite google contacts with the phone ones? Or at least merge them?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought the HTC hero a couple if weeks back and I'm still trying to get used to the symbian to Android change. I have a couple if things which I would like to ask. 1. There is no option to close an application. I read that android closes the applications as and when more memory is required. So there is no chance one can close an application manually? 2. The phone only imports the picture and birthday into the contacts. Is there a chance I can import the email address and the telephone number? I require that more than the birthday info. 3. The WiFi signal seems to be very bad. Not sure if it'd an issue only with me. The location where I have full signal in my laptop and my Nokia N82, I only have one bar of signal in my HTC hero.

When I try to add web pages they neva seem to show up, and wen I do add one and want to delete it, their is no button to delete the bookmarks.
