I OWN A HTC HERO AND VERY MUCH LIKE IT,
BUT I CAN NOT OPEN E-MAIL MEDIA FILES, OR POWER POINT PRESENTATIONS. WHENEVER I RECEIVE AN E-MAIL WITH MEDIA FILES OR PPS I AM DOWNLOADING IT SOMEWHERE I DO NOT KNOW BUT COULD NOT OPEN IT. DO I NEED A PROGRAM FOR IT?
Android :: Application That Displays Multi-page TIFF Files?
Jan 18, 2010Is there an application that displays multi-page TIFF files? I use an electronic FAX service that emails incoming FAXes as attachments in TIFF format to my Gmail account. The Gmail app (on the Nexus, at least) displays the first page of the FAX inline; furthermore, the "preview" button will open the TIFF file in either Gallery or Astro, and those also show the first page of the FAX. However, I haven't found a way in any of these applications to view the second and succeeding pages. Have I overlooked something, or is there an app that allows this?

Nov 5, 2009Just curious to see what programs people are using to create wallpapers for the Hero. I'm using a program called Android Converter. It's a music, video, and wallpaper converter in one. I guess it gets the job done as far as making wallpapers go, but you lose a lot of image quality in the process. So what's the Android forums advice on a program to use?

Jun 29, 2013My searches all bring back ways to transfer files using my Windows Explorer on my PC Interface via USB and on Android "Es file explorer" using wifi.
I use ES file Explorer to view shared folders on my PC via wifi. I want to do the same thing only faster through USB. Similar to how you connect the android to your pc and it shows the internal sd and external sd in windows explorer.
For example... I want to browse my vast collection of "Justin Bieber's Monkey confiscated by German customs for excessive spanking" pics on my pc to find one that looks good as my android wallpaper. I dont want to use wifi and cant load the 74GB of pics from my pc on my 8 GB SD card on my Android to go through them.
Sprint HTC Hero :: Sometimes (Pandora) Program Stopped Responding
Mar 17, 2010Is there anyone else out there having trouble with Pandora staying connected? After I tune in to a station that I like and leave my phone, I will notice that my music has stopped playing. But, (sometimes) when I come back to my phone, the music will start back up. Then again, more times than none, when I come back to the phone, the program has stopped responding and I will have to restart the entire program.

Oct 22, 2009I installed Handcent because of the battery drain issue, and like it a lot, but now I cannot turn off the OEM Messages program. I tried going into the Settings>Applications>Manage Applications to turn it off, and it doesn't work. I also did the "Use Handcent as default SMS" when that box first pops up. I get two different ringtone notifications too. Although I switched the ringer to the same one both through the phone's settings and through Handcent's settings.

I copied over all the folders that were in my old memory card and created an additional folder called 'music' and added a few mp3 files in there. When I try up the phone and look under music I do not see the new song files.Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I might me doing wrong here?
