I'm looking for a widget that I can have on one of the scenes that i can take notes on or have some sort of list.
I got such bad memories at times, and want to write something down to look at later as a reminder. So I was looking for a widget to do this, something similar to 3Banana app.

So everyone loves Sense and we have a dedicated thread to showing our home screens. But no one seems to talk about Scenes. Does anyone actually use them? I know I tried for the first few weeks but no I hardly even remember that this a function?
View 7 Replies View RelatedEvery time I change the screen saver on a scene, if I try to switch scenes, I have to save it as a completely new scene. I have more than I want now. Is there a better way to manage this?

I only use one my custom scene are these other scenes affecting battery life I just noticed these extra scenes and wondering if I should delete because I don't use them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor those of us Palm fans who have been searching for an application for notes/memo pad that can sync easily to the phone and laptop, the best one I have found so far is B-Folders. I have created notes on my laptop, edited them, deleted etc., then sync through WiFi to my HTC Hero easily. All notes are synced exactly, no duplicates, no weird stuff going on - and if I delete a note on my laptop, then it is deleted on my phone. It is phenomenal except that you can't yet sync using your cable (i.e. you always need Internet access to sync your phones). So this morning, Saturday 31 July, about 8.45 am, I emailed the company who makes it (Welcome to JointLogic!) and asked them when would we be able to sync with a cable i.e. direct to the computer without using internet. Less than 15 minutes later I got a response (remember, this is a Saturday morning): which was:
We are working on USB sync and we aim to make it available before the end of August. Until then you will be able to sync when there is a network connection. You can safely use public WiFi hot-sopts because the sync data is encrypted. How is that for great customer service. the app on your phone is free, but if you want it on your computer and to be able to sync, it will be around $29.99 but in my eyes, well worth it. There's nothing else out there like this as far as I can tell.
I'm working on customizing some scenes and I cannot find a widget/program/shortcut for "Favorites" - this is the widget that lets you select favorite contacts for easy access. For example, the Favorites widget appears on the 2nd screen of the "HTC" scene. I've gone through all the widgets and programs and cannot find this.

My idea would be a 1x1 shortcut I could put on my home screen to switch to my "work" scene. Then in the work scene I would put one to take me back to my "home" scene.

You can write notes fairly easily - but the only way to view, eg the last note, is to delete the top one until you get down to the last. Is there some way to flick through these notes easily? Otherwise i'll just go back to ak notepad (which is good, but you can't draw a note).

View 1 Replies View RelatedHaving downloaded so many apps, I tried to organise them by creating several folders onto one of the home screen and dragging installed apps into the appropriate folders (e.g. games into a games folder, social apps into a social folder, etc.). If I switch scenes (saving the current scene before doing so), and then switch back again the folders are where I left them, but the app shortcuts inside them have disappeared.
This only happens when I change scenes within TouchFLO. I don't get this problem if I change from TouchFLO to say aHome and then back again. Is anyone else experiencing this problem, or able to recreate the problem. I'm not sure if the problem is specific to my phone, or it is indeed a problem with TouchFLO.
How can i delete scenes / save a current one without renaming it?

View 7 Replies View RelatedSticking my neck out and asking a question that might see obvious, but, what is the difference between an App and a Widget?I assume the function differently or they wouldn't have different names.Yet, when I look at the stuff I have on my screens, they look the same.Someone told me to get rid of my Widgets to reduce lag.(I plan to keep my widgets because I only have 4, I think, three toggles and one weather.) But, why would Widgets create lag and Apps don't?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've seen on some peoples phones they have a widget for different sound profiles. Airplane, vibrate, and silent modes. This morning I dl'd more HTC widgets and I found on that said 'Profile.' The details say, "Quickly switch your phone's profile to normal, silent, or vibrate." Once it dl'd I found the profile for 'Airplane' was added to my Settings widgets, but I've found nothing for normal, silent, or vibrate modes. Am I missing something, not looking in the right place? Should I uninstall and reinstall and see if that helps?

I have looked at everything I can think of on the Add Widget screen and nothing seems to be the right one.
I saw that we had a new HTC widget available to download (called tasks, pretty much a checklist) and it actually sounded like it might be useful. When I tried to download it nothing happened, and its been saying Installing for a long time now. I would really like to use this but it looks like its not going to work, and since its not installed yet I can't uninstall it and try again.

If this is already posted but i couldn't find it. so today i figured out how to get the stock facebook widget to work again because every time i opened it up or tried to post something i got an error number/null (i forgot what it exactly said) so what i did is go to the market and look for the facebook app and install it. its going to ask to uninstall the old one and reinstall it. do that and once it is complete, uninstall the updates because for some reason the widget would not load and voila the stock widget works again if you guys already know this feel free to delete this post. And FYI i too also mainly use the touch.facebook site but sometimes its nice to be able to post something without going to the browser and it just irritated me that after updating to 2.1 a stock widget kept failing but i thought i would share this with all of you

I was able to use the Sense UI Email Widget.
I have sense installed CM6 and LP. I looked to recreate the Sense UI Email Widget, but couldn't find it. So I thought, ok I'll upgrade to LP+ and that will have the Email widget.
Nothing. I have searched the market for Email Widget as well, but don't find anything similar. So what are you, running LP or LP+ using for an Email Widget similar to the one in Sense UI.
Yes, I have the email "shortcut" or "icon" but I want the full 4x4 page widget like I used to have.
This is in reference to the one that comes with the phone. I like it because you can select a single calendar to show events from. I sync 8 calendars on the account I have my phone associated with but only want to see events from one or two on a widget. This widget seemed to answer that issue however anytime the phone is turned off and back on all that shows is the widget background with no data. If I delete and re-add the widget everything is back to good.
