I saw somewhere in a thread a widget someone had that was 1x4 and it was pretty sweet looking..had bluetooth, gps, wifi and something else..i tried searching for it in the Market but i cant find it..

I keep having the same issue with this hing...how do I add websites n how do I delete ones I Dnt want. Why is this thing so hard to use. When I try to add web pages they neva seem to show up, and wen I do add one and want to delete it, their is no button to delete the bookmarks.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI just got a Hero the other day, and so for I love it. The only thing I am having a problem with is the button pad. It is creaky, like if I press the menu button, and then press a button the the opposite side, say the back button, it creaks a tiny bit, like plastic on plastic. Sometimes it even clicks a little bit. Anyone elses like this? It doesnt really affect the operation as much as its an annoyance.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSticking my neck out and asking a question that might see obvious, but, what is the difference between an App and a Widget?I assume the function differently or they wouldn't have different names.Yet, when I look at the stuff I have on my screens, they look the same.Someone told me to get rid of my Widgets to reduce lag.(I plan to keep my widgets because I only have 4, I think, three toggles and one weather.) View 6 Replies View RelatedI've seen on some peoples phones they have a widget for different sound profiles. Airplane, vibrate, and silent modes. This morning I dl'd more HTC widgets and I found on that said 'Profile.' The details say, "Quickly switch your phone's profile to normal, silent, or vibrate." Once it dl'd I found the profile for 'Airplane' was added to my Settings widgets, but I've found nothing for normal, silent, or vibrate modes. Am I missing something, not looking in the right place? Should I uninstall and reinstall and see if that helps?

I have looked at everything I can think of on the Add Widget screen and nothing seems to be the right one.
I saw that we had a new HTC widget available to download (called tasks, pretty much a checklist) and it actually sounded like it might be useful. When I tried to download it nothing happened, and its been saying Installing for a long time now. I would really like to use this but it looks like its not going to work, and since its not installed yet I can't uninstall it and try again.

I was playing with the phone a couple days ago and came across a setting that let me decide what the power/end call button would do when pushed, IE: go to sleep, go home then go to sleep, nothing. I left it at the default and now I want to change it.

Until it stops working again.

I just updated to Android 2.2. On 1.56, I had a GPS on off button I put on my home screen.
Question: Is there a GPS - On and Off - Toggle Button on the UI Interface? - For Android 2.2?
If you use the "End All Background Tasks" button (the widget for this app I believe), it ends the weather functionality on the standard clock/weather widget. The weather does not appear to restart without trashing the clock widget and then replacing it. That basically renders the Kill All Background tasks functionality useless does it not? I'm wondering if it's like this for all background task killing apps as well.

I tried the lock screen and ended up locking my phone out due to too many tries in my pocket and ending up having to reset my phone to use again. Even with the lock screen on, the menu button still turn the phone on.

If this is already posted but i couldn't find it. so today i figured out how to get the stock facebook widget to work again because every time i opened it up or tried to post something i got an error number/null (i forgot what it exactly said) so what i did is go to the market and look for the facebook app and install it. its going to ask to uninstall the old one and reinstall it. do that and once it is complete, uninstall the updates because for some reason the widget would not load and voila the stock widget works again if you guys already know this feel free to delete this post. And FYI i too also mainly use the touch.facebook site but sometimes its nice to be able to post something without going to the browser and it just irritated me that after updating to 2.1 a stock widget kept failing but i thought i would share this with all of you

When the weather disappears I still have a internet connection. I noticed it today that I was having this problem. I contacted Sprint just to get this notated on my account. I have sense installed CM6 and LP. I looked to recreate the Sense UI Email Widget, but couldn't find it. So I thought, ok I'll upgrade to LP+ and that will have the Email widget.
Nothing. I have searched the market for Email Widget as well, but don't find anything similar. So what are you, running LP or LP+ using for an Email Widget similar to the one in Sense UI.
Yes, I have the email "shortcut" or "icon" but I want the full 4x4 page widget like I used to have.
This is in reference to the one that comes with the phone. I like it because you can select a single calendar to show events from. I sync 8 calendars on the account I have my phone associated with but only want to see events from one or two on a widget. This widget seemed to answer that issue however anytime the phone is turned off and back on all that shows is the widget background with no data. If I delete and re-add the widget everything is back to good.
