I just installed 2.1 for HTC Hero and I was wondering if someone knows a good music application to download songs like imusic or music junk. I do not think those applications are available on 2.1 so someone know any good one?

Do all the earpieces support streaming or playing music/sprint tv audio/Google listen?Are they all mono or do some single earpieces have stereo?Is there an industry standard for noise reduction that I should look for in the feature list? Any other tips if I just want to buy one and be satisfied its the right one?
so I have all of my .mp3's on my PC by artist, then subfolders, albums. I have retagged them all. I have a total of 15 artists, 26 albums, 340 songs. I dragged and dropped the folders over to the SD card under "Music". I then fire up the music player and my "Now Playing" screen, at the very top, under "Now Playing" it's only showing 1/100. I can scroll through the albums, but it's not listing all of them. How do I get all albums to show on the now playing screen? Or is it even possible? This is driving me nutz!

View 11 Replies View RelatedI am running DC's latest 2.1 and I have two music apps in my app drawer. One is a speaker and the other is a pair of notes. The both seem to open the same music player. In looking in the system/app folder one is HTC and the other is Android. But as I mentioned they open the same app. Any explanation on this? Can I delete one?

Easiest way possible. I hooked up the HTC via the sync software and USB cable and I see F: mounted, but I cannot browse it.
I've noticed something weird with the stock music app....when I open the app (get the coverflow type view) or use the widget, the cover art for each song is horribly wrong. HOWEVER, if I enter the list view and go to albums in the app, the right art is show beside each album. As well, I installed MixZing music app, and it shows the right albums.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo when I first got my sprint hero when I would go to the music it would open up in such a way that I could finger swipe to flip through albums. Somehow...I've done something so when I open up the music from the icon, it just shows me the current/last album and song I was on. I've clicked all the little icons on the bottom, and they show various top to bottom text menus...but nowhere I can find to get back to make it where the albums are seen in that distance where you finger swipe left/right to flip through them.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got a new 8gb memory card and want to dump a bunch of music to my Hero, but the music player seems lacking in many respects (functionally) despite looking nice (aesthetically). Has anyone tried other players that both work well and look stylish? sidenote - I was unable to format my memory card with it plugged into my network printer due to not having an adapter, but when the card is mounted and the hero is connected through usb it is reported as FAT32 in the open window. Do I need to worry about formatting? I wasn't sure if there would be any performance gain by doing so. Its a Transcend 8gb class 6.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the sync from the sprint site (the current one they now have up) thinking I might need it for when 2.1 comes out (whenever that is now) I started the installing of it then I got some kind of warning saying that something wasn't compatible and it could ruin either my comp or something. How do I fix this I uninstalled what was put on but not it doesn't even recognize my phone anymore so I can't mount to put music on or move pictures off

For example, in my BB Curve I could hard press the volume up button to move to the next track, and hard press the volume down to go back a track (without even looking at it or taking it out of my pocket)...
I dig the stock Hero music app the best I think out of Mixzing, Rockon, Wikitunes, or whatever - mostly because it is in the lock screen where I can advance to the next tune without having to swipe in first...
But its still a pain in the neck, when I'm on a running on a treadmill to pick up the phone and hold it up and press the correct button on the glass, as opposed to just reaching in my pocket and pressing a hardware button like I could on my BB Curve, or any other MP3 player...
I use the bluetooth audio in my truck on my drive to and from every work every day with Iheartradio on. Every time I receive a call when I hang up my phone automatically starts the music player and just starts playing songs. It's extremely annoying. I even deleted all my music off the phone hoping this would stop it, and now it just plays ring tones. I've used an app killer, etc. and it still does it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just discovered this today, and it has been mentioned in part before but I thought I'd share myself because it is an extremely useful feature, not to mention i had seen posts in the past that claimed this was not possible.Any app that produces sound, be it NAV, Voicemail or the music player can stream through your BT earpiece. I discovered it when my phone pocket dialed a strange combination of '?9797**' I have no idea how to reproduce a '?'After some reading I found that ** or p (pause?) will open the BT connection. The easiest way to enable it is to save a call contact shortcut of 'p' on the home screen. Just hit that icon prior to using whatever app you want and it will play through the earpiece. Hit the icon again to close the connection so you dont run into battery issue.Note you can dial ** to achieve the same (which will change into a p) however it will not work if you create a contact with **, you must create it with a p
