View 5 RepliesI have integrated the downloader activity (Google provided) into my application.. On the whole a very straight forward process. A problem I have though, is, after the downloader has completed the window disappears and nothing happens. If I hold down the HOME key I see my app and if I click on it my appss window comes up and runs correctly. Also when I run it subsequently it works correctly. Has anyone else experienced this? It certainly looks like the downloader should trigger my app when it is done; I am not sure if the window is just not getting focus or someething. It is a fullscreen GL app.
View 2 Replies View Relatedwhat music downloader does everyone consider the best? Ive looked at the similar type posts and my answer still isnt really answered so i thought id give it a shot for future reference for everyone!
I had Imusic on my g1 but for some reason i cant seem to find it for the nexus i have seen mp3 downloader and i was wondering if this one was as good or not.
Every time I try to delete a contact marked as a "favorite", it will disappear for a few minutes and then re-appear again.
View 2 Replies View Related(Root Users only of course, unless your using Home++)I think I have tested them all out and I like "drocap2 for root users" the best; "Screenshot It" is nice but I can't stand the icon. Here are both the "Screenshot It' and "drocap2 for root users" icons in the status bar: 1. "Screenshot It" uses a green Android botwhile 2. "drocap2 for root users" uses a camera image Which Screenshot App do you use?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have had a lot of smart phones but never used bluetooth headsets and have a few questions. Can you get a bluetooth earpiece for answering phone calls that lets you answer from the headset once paired?
Do all the earpieces support streaming or playing music/sprint tv audio/Google listen? Are they all mono or do some single earpieces have stereo? Is there an industry standard for noise reduction that I should look for in the feature list? Any other tips if I just want to buy one and be satisfied its the right one?
I finally have hardware working the way I like it at home (stereo inputs), at the office and gym (bluetooth headphones), and in the car (aux input or bluetooth to head unit). Now I'm ready to pay for an ad free music streaming app. The problem is deciding which one to get. I've messed around with the free versions of Pandora, Slacker and TuneWiki as well as FlyCast for streaming FM stations. I'm not crazy about the latter two as I prefer to create a customized "station" that plays exactly the music I'm in the mood for. I've also used Grooveshark on the computer, but I have no idea how good the Android app is without a Lite version to test.
Pandora, Slacker and Grooveshark charge roughly $3/month for ad-free music. I'm curious to know what others think about the various services, or one I have not mentioned. I don't mind paying for a good app, but I can't justify paying for all of them when one should suffice. So what's your preference? A reason besides "It's the best" would be an added bonus.
so I have all of my .mp3's on my PC by artist, then subfolders, albums. I have retagged them all. I have a total of 15 artists, 26 albums, 340 songs. I dragged and dropped the folders over to the SD card under "Music". I then fire up the music player and my "Now Playing" screen, at the very top, under "Now Playing" it's only showing 1/100. I can scroll through the albums, but it's not listing all of them. How do I get all albums to show on the now playing screen? Or is it even possible? This is driving me nutz!

View 11 Replies View RelatedI am running DC's latest 2.1 and I have two music apps in my app drawer. One is a speaker and the other is a pair of notes. The both seem to open the same music player. In looking in the system/app folder one is HTC and the other is Android. But as I mentioned they open the same app. Any explanation on this? Can I delete one?

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhat a great phone the HTC Hero is. So how do I get some of my large MP3 music collection on the phone?
Easiest way possible. I hooked up the HTC via the sync software and USB cable and I see F: mounted, but I cannot browse it.
So when I first got my sprint hero when I would go to the music it would open up in such a way that I could finger swipe to flip through albums. Somehow...I've done something so when I open up the music from the icon, it just shows me the current/last album and song I was on. I've clicked all the little icons on the bottom, and they show various top to bottom text menus...but nowhere I can find to get back to make it where the albums are seen in that distance where you finger swipe left/right to flip through them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to sync music and also PLAYLISTS onto the Hero? I know I can easily drag-n-drop files onto my Hero's SD card, and also use programs like MediaMonkey or Windows Media Player to sync music, but I can't seem to sync playlists. I have to manually create playlists on the Hero music app on the phone, and that is a pain.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got a new 8gb memory card and want to dump a bunch of music to my Hero, but the music player seems lacking in many respects (functionally) despite looking nice (aesthetically). Has anyone tried other players that both work well and look stylish? sidenote - I was unable to format my memory card with it plugged into my network printer due to not having an adapter, but when the card is mounted and the hero is connected through usb it is reported as FAT32 in the open window. Do I need to worry about formatting? I wasn't sure if there would be any performance gain by doing so. Its a Transcend 8gb class 6.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've looked all over and I couldn't find any posts regarding this, but are there any music programs that allow you to use a hardware button to advance a track? For example, in my BB Curve I could hard press the volume up button to move to the next track, and hard press the volume down to go back a track (without even looking at it or taking it out of my pocket)...
I dig the stock Hero music app the best I think out of Mixzing, Rockon, Wikitunes, or whatever - mostly because it is in the lock screen where I can advance to the next tune without having to swipe in first...
But its still a pain in the neck, when I'm on a running on a treadmill to pick up the phone and hold it up and press the correct button on the glass, as opposed to just reaching in my pocket and pressing a hardware button like I could on my BB Curve, or any other MP3 player...
