My market app keeps crashing when I click the icon. Only option is to force close. I removed some apps the other night, but just some games, and such. I have searched and haven't found any solution to this problem. I have done a soft reset (battery out for 3 minutes) but it still happens. I'm going to call Sprint to see if they know what is up.

Handcent is crashing on me (com.handcent.nextsms) when I try to compose a new message or view an old text message with Fresh 2.1.1 (which I just installed today) anyone else having this issue?
Stock messaging app just says "Loading...." forever when I try to view an old txt.
I backed up from old sms and mms from Fresh 1.1 and restored them in Fresh 2.1.1.
I have been experiencing yahoo crashing when I close a conversation. I get a fatal error then it shuts down.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC Hero, rooted, latest Cyanogen with LauncherPro Plus. But I don't know if it's a rooted issue so I posted here. Sometimes scrolling slows to a crawl, sometimes it takes a minute to go back to the home screen, LauncherPro crashes a lot, the lock screen takes a few seconds to unlock. Other times all of that zips through. It's maddening About 24 megs of free storage on phone. What could it be? And the phone reboots a lot on its own also.

I forgot to ask as well.I've searched online and the "chin" hero seems to have a little dent where you can prop it open. The Sprint Hero looks pretty solid... but I know you have to open it to replace the SD card so my question is how do I do it without ruining the molding?

However if i try to open the xml file without using the layout editor of ADT plugin everything is fine....it will open as an editable file..the problem started only after i updated the latest version of ADT...before that everything was working fione.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI constantly see the same apps opening throughout the day. I think I have narrowed it down to when I get a text message it opens up a few other things. I have installed Handcent and disabled the stock message app i think. I have closed all apps and recieved a text and here is what opens everytime. Voice Dialer, com.coremobility.app.vnotes, sprint navigation, and still the Messages app opens even though it comes through Handcent.

View 3 Replies View RelatedThis afternoon, I wiped my phone and am starting from scratch. Lock 2.0 was giving me some issues and with all the installing and uninstalling of app's I've been doing in the past couple of weeks, I just decided to start with a fresh slate.
Before I back and download Lock 2.0 again, I wanted to inquire with others out there on their experience with the App. I love it, but I wasn't sure if I didn't set it up correctly or I didn't understand how the app worked because it never did replace the default lock screen after I installed and configured it. I always had to manually launch it, unlock the screen and then it would take over.
Not exactly what I had in mind for my money. Was thinking it was a full replacement for the default lock screen. Maybe I didn't read the fine print well enough.
Also, what's been the experience with Open Home on the Sprint Hero?
I'll come clean and admit I'm a Mac super-user stuck without an iPhone (I love Sprint!!). I carry my iPod touch and my Hero with me pretty much everywhere. I am LOVING my Hero though! It does exactly what I wanted it to.
I like to get in and customize to the nth degree, but not at the expense of crappy app's that mess up my stuff.
I am about to get my Hero back and was wondering if Open Home & Sense UI played nice together? Will I get to use Open Home & HTC Widgets? I have been using it on my Moment, but not sure if I even need it with my hero, just want to be able to use different icons & skins. Would I be better with Pandahome or DX?

We are both unable to see pictures sent to us as part of an email (like pictures in a joke). And she is unable to open pictures as email attachments in her Yahoo acct. We have played with settings and Goggled this problem, to no avail. nothing works.

View 17 Replies View RelatedAll of the tickets are electronic tickets (pdf) saved in my gmail, and I thought I would be able to open up the files and just let them scan my phone. Yet when I tried to open the file, it pulled up the PDF viewer app and then told me it wasn't able to open it. Why is this? I also just tried saving the attachment to my sd card from the gmail app and open it from there, but I couldn't figure out how to save an attachment from an email to my phone. Any help here would be great.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have used the stock sms, Chomp sms, and handcent sms and they all seem to have the same problem. I can send a pic through them, but when the person responds to the text, its says download, I press that and its unable to DL it says. My friend sent a pic twice on handcent, the same one, and it came through the second time only. Sometimes no pic will work at all. With hancent it resizes automatic, thats great, but still the same issue. Man I love everything about this phone but this is really annoying.

When I click back on the market its like 50/50 if its actually still downloading/installing the app. Otherwise it'll just forceclose again when I retry to download it. Nothing else on my phone broke from the update but this is kinda bugging me..
View 7 Replies View RelatedI installed the wireless tethering app today and decided to play with it for the heck of it, I was able to set it up, and when I went to my laptop and hit refresh I was able to see the network, I then tried to connect and it would not connect, as it said something about a 13 key ascii so I checked to see and checked the password and still could not connect got the same error message, i then decided to disable the encryption and then refresh the network and tried to connect again, I was able to connect but was not able to open a page up, now i don't know if that was because my reception was not great but still would not open a web page, any suggestions, another note, it rebooted the phone about 3 times and froze the phone once, I am on the AOSP Mod ROM V 0.9.7. I know the Cat mentioned he got his to work, just curious if it was with this Rom or the CM6 one, any input would be great, just want it as a backup incase of in a bind.

I've chosen the social scene in my settings because it leaves a page open for IM & email but I'm wondering if its possible to customize a NONrooted phone to keep more "pages/screens" open, like facebook kept open or the web browser?

I deleted 6 images and save it. but when ever I reopen I see 8 images. When I tried to download updated version of my app on my device thorough Android Market, it kept crashing. Did any one else faced same problem? version of the last upgrade is 4.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a G1 Android that's been rooted. My problem is that Market and Gmail crashes on launch. I also cannot get to the Data Synchronization page. It displays the page for a split second and then instantly closes out. Is there a way to reset the apps? I've tried factory reset and upgrading to a newer version of Cyanogen mod without success.
