Ever since the OTA update everytime I go to update an app or install a new one it goes to download and I get a force close everytime. When I click back on the market its like 50/50 if its actually still downloading/installing the app. Otherwise it'll just forceclose again when I retry to download it. Nothing else on my phone broke from the update but this is kinda bugging me..

I uploaded an upgrade to my application and opened it again to see if everything is correct or not. I was surprised to see 8 screen shots instead of 2. I deleted 6 images and save it. but when ever I reopen I see 8 images. When I tried to download updated version of my app on my device thorough Android Market, it kept crashing. Did any one else faced same problem? version of the last upgrade is 4.

I have searched and haven't found any solution to this problem. I have done a soft reset (battery out for 3 minutes) but it still happens. I'm going to call Sprint to see if they know what is up.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a G1 Android that's been rooted. My problem is that Market and Gmail crashes on launch. I also cannot get to the Data Synchronization page. It displays the page for a split second and then instantly closes out. Is there a way to reset the apps? I've tried factory reset and upgrading to a newer version of Cyanogen mod without success.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to understand remote services at the moment and everything works fine, i can start the service and know how to communicate with it through the AIDL-interface. My problem is that the service seems to still run in the same process like the activity it was started from, because the activity crashes too, if there is an error thrown in the Service.
I set the service process to remote ( android:process=":remote" ) so what am i doing wrong? Or what do i have to do to unbind the service-process completely from the activity-process?
I am creating an application that checks the installation of a package and exits after launching the market-place with its id.
When I try to launch market place with id of an application say com.mybrowser.android by throwing an intent android.intent.action.VIEW with url: market://details?id=com.mybrowser.android, the market place application does launches but crashes after launch.
The application com.mybrowser.android doesn't exist on the market- place.
MyApplication is my application.

However, when I try to launch the market place for a package that exists in the market place say com.opera.mini.android, everything works. Here is the log of this case:

my first 2 rebooted about 5 times a day. my 3rd one i did the leaked ota right when i got it and it was freaking awesome. Except the speaker was crackling like it was blown. Now my 4th one is rebooting by itself. I'm tempted to do the leaked ota and see if that fixes it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Incredible has recently started to crash frequently and it seems to keep getting worse, now at least once or twice per day. It never crashes while I am using it, but I will go to check it later and it is dead. This is getting frustrating because I am missing calls without even knowing the phone is off. I either have to pop the battery or plug into power to force a reboot. Im not sure how to figure out what application might be causing the problem or if maybe it is a hardware issue. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this, or know what I might do to start troubleshooting?
View 2 Replies View RelatedLet me start off by saying I've been searching Google at home/work/while sleeping trying to find answers to my problem and haven't come up with anything that worked for me. In short I am running Skyraider 2.5.2 Sense and the camcorder is not working. Everything else, GPS, Flash, wireless tether, camera work perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Below are the steps I took since I first took the plunge into root.
Wiped cache did factory reset
Rooted phone with unrevoked
Installed Skyraider 2.5.2 Sense to verify I liked the build.
Used Unrevoked forever to siwtch S - OFF
verified S - OFF
Flashed radio to 2.15.00.07.28
Verified that SDcard is/was formatted with FAT32
Confirmed everything worked but the camcorder
Wiped phone
reverted back to 1.00 radio
re-installed skyraider
Confirmed everything worked but the camcorder
upgraded kernel to 2.6.32.15-king-HAVS-Oc-Uverik@Ubuntu #3

Normally I wouldn't worry, but when it does crash, and I'm not paying attention to my phone, it suddenly sucks the battery big time. If it happens overnight while I'm sleeping, the battery will be dead. I just checked my phone now; last check was about 2 hours ago, it was at 90-odd percent, and now it's at 55% and com.htc.launcher is asking to be force closed. I check my battery usage, and sure enough, it's the culprit. My phone is also very hot, perhaps because it's overusing the battery. I want to avoid a factory reset. Is there any solution or known cause for this problem?

This literally happens to me EVERY time I try to use it, it didnt always do this so I'm not exactly sure when it started. I've done the normal reboot etc, does anyone have a fix/reset for this thing?
My market app is saying "a server error occurred..." and my options are to retry or cancel. Is there an apk of the newest version of the market available? Im running 2.2 skyraider oc'ed if that makes a difference.

I see an update available in App Brain for it, but the market link it takes me to is the free trial page. Today, App Brain pointed me to the google maps 4.4 update. Market didn't alert me of this update, but the market page for it seemed legit.

Yea, I've manually installed the newest version that's on the market on other devices but It'd be much easier to download it from the market and set it to auto update. Are we eventually going to get a Flash 10.1 app on the market or are we stuck having to manually update?
Been using SwiftKey beta since Swype stopped working consistently and I got a notice this to upgrade to a final version (directly in advance of the Market release next week. I registered for Google checkout this morning and I can login to google checkout using my domain.com email address. I go to buy an app and it asks to log in to my google account. I enter my info and it shows me that my calendar, contacts, and email are syncing. It takes me back to the buy button which puts me into a loop.

I can download free apps no problems but when i try to purchase any, I put my card details in, then click the buy button, a processing note comes up stating; "saving card details" then after about 15 seconds it says; Attention server error. and it does not process the transaction.
