Does anyone use the Zagg full body shield and if so what do you think about it? I have the neoprene case with mine and the Zagg screen protector though I heard these cases cause dust to collect through the volume rocker and thus getting under the screen.

Looks pretty craptacular right now. I know I'm supposed to give it another 12-24 hours to dry and "cure" (although I seem to recall seeing the timeframe of 24-48 hours on this board, anyone vouch for that?), but I'm a little concerned.Sorry for the huge crappy pic, had to take it with my old phone. But you can see the smears and lines. Those are what I'm worried about. Anyone who's used a Zagg able to comment on whether those disappear in the curing process? I'll be sure to post better pics when it's completely dried for people.

I'm looking to ditch my case as it bulks the phone. Also, how's the feel. I've had a zagg before, but curious how it feels on the whole phone.
View 6 Replies View RelatedA week ago I received the Invisible Shield from Zagg in the mail and was very excited. I read the instructions, saw some installation videos on youtube and after 1 hour of preparation i was ready for the install. The installation process is a nightmare as you have to apply the solution while keeping the shield from sticking to itself and its a PIA to align correctly. I installed the back cover first and after many tries I had it correctly aligned but it didn't fit perfectly meaning there were areas that the shield did not cover completeley such as corners which are the most prone to damage. Next I installed the screen protector OMFG what a POS. It had bubbles all over even after using the squegee card. I thought I'd give it a few days for them to clear up as Zagg claims that within 24 hrs they disappear. They did not go away and it made the screen look bad especially on a white background. Needless to say the smaller pieces are also a nightmare to install. Anyways, today I saw my phone and got tired of looking at that Zagg crap and at the sticky feel it gives the phone and took it off and went back to what I had before.I had the siliicone case from the sprint store and the screen protector from the sprint store which had worked perfectly since november: not a single scratch and no dust problems. So really beware of the Zagg products, at least I got it for free so it didn't hurt to throw it away.

Does this only happen when the zagg is new and not all the way secure or did I make a mistake and need to peel of the back pieces?Just curious if anyone else have both the zagg and car mount and if so if people are having the same results as me.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI ordered a ZAGG full body max protector to replace my Body Glove case. I didn't know if anyone had any experience with covering the whole body with this thing? I went with the max vs the easy version because I'd think the corners are going prolly mostly likely to get hit if it's dropped and the easy version doesn't protect sides/corners. Obviously this provides no shock protection if it's dropped but it's a nice compromise between showing off it's sexiness and protection.

View 49 Replies View RelatedIs it just me, or are they hard to put on? I used one of the 50% off coupons to pick up a shield for 10 bucks. When I got it, it took me 3-4 times to put it on, and still there were bubbles, even after 24 hours of drying.I contacted them and they were pretty much no help as I did everything already that they suggested.So I went to Best Buy today to pick up another one and to have them them install it for $7.99. It looks FANTASTIC. It took him about 3 minutes to do! They did have their own bottle of some liquid not the standard one that came in the package. Anyway, if you have trouble or want it done right, have them do it!

View 14 Replies View RelatedFirst of all, yes I've read everything on the other threads about cases. The only problem I've had with the Hero in six months is settling down on a case. I've done naked, eBay cheapies, Sprint silicones, Otterbox, and now the Sprint Body Glove. No Seidio though. I like the way it feels kind of like the silicones but stiff. Yes it's thicker too. I would just like some opinions from people who are using or have used this case. I don't think I'm taking up too much room here since so many have moved to the EVO forum.

I was thinking about putting one on my new Sprint HTC Hero, but I remember it having kind of a tacky, gummy, sticky feel to it...kind of resistant to sliding your finger over it smoothly. That doesn't matter to me whatsoever when I'm not using a touch screen, but has anyone used one on a Hero? I don't want to buy one and find out it makes my phone harder to use.Specifically, I've just gotten pretty good at using SlideIT (wish I could try Swype), and I have a feeling that with an InvisibleSHIELD it will be much harder to accurately move my finger to the right spots on the screen at the right times. Has anyone had any experience with this?

I'll sell it for $10, shipped.I will say that I really liked the Phantom Skinz on my Eris. The only thing that I didn't like was it eliminated the "soft touch" feel on the back. Other than that, no bubbling, very smooth, did not interfere with the screen and great self-healing.

I recently wanted to get some addresses I have stored in contacts and found that they only show up as "show on map". The problem is, quite a few of my addresses are really long and you can't see the whole address under the "show on map" option, and I don't want to map it! I just want to see it so I can write it on an envelope. I guess I could map it every time I need an address, which is a waste of time, but even then, some of the addresses are in other countries and the map func. fails the address disappears before I get a chance to write down all the info. Is there a way to actually view the entire address without the map part?
On a side note, does anyone know why I can't sync birthday info for contacts from google contact's? Mine never show up, I only get Facebook birthdays.
And while I'm at it, even thought I use mybackup pro, when I have to do a hard reset, all my stored ringtones for contacts disappear and i have to program them all in again.
