Took update and all is well, however i now notice if i want to attach a pic to my text the app says too big to send. I looked in setting seems there is a 1 meg limit. Handcent would autosize the pic so I could send. So my question is can I change the setting in the native app or just revert back to handcent.

I recently bought a HTC Hero with sprint. i took a picture and tried to send it via text message..i receive error of " Message size limit reached...sorry, you cannot attach this your message" Also, i cannot view a picture message sent to me. i tried also saving it to my 4gb card but cannot find where to view the files in my sd card...

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo today I got a message from a friend and in the message log it just tells me who it's from, the file size and when it expires. I have an option to download it but it fails every time. I doesn't give me any details that I know of it just says it was unsuccessful. The weird thing is that yesterday I got a pic from the same person and it worked fine, thumbnail and everything. What can I do to get this picture? Or make it work correctly in the future? They say they sent it the same way as the day before.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I both have HTC Hero's (Sprint) and recently have been having problems sending and receiving pictures in our text (from each other as well as other people) If I send a picture to her, her phone will vibrate and the notification light will blink, but nothing will show up.
Now if I send a second picture the first one will show up on her phone, and if I send a third, the second one shows up and on and on. It happens the same way if she tries to send me a picture. The phones worked fine when we bought them in December. This problem has just started in the last month.
I had installed a mobile defense guardian? App the other day, forget if that was the exact name and noticed after that. That I wasn't getting picture messages to show up right away anymore, now it seems like they have to send the same picture 2 or 3 times before it will actually download and I can view it. Wondering if there is some known issue or a fix to get it back to normal and working right again. I'm looking at one now and it just says it's downloading, never leaves that, doesn't show a picture.

How do I attach a contact to a text message or an email?
I'm using Roadsync email
How I do it now is: Navigating to the contact I would like to forward, edit it, mark and copy the phone number, paste it into a text/email, write the name of the contact and press send.
Features I also would like to see in the future:
Have the Roadsync application use the "Full Name" field instead of the "File As" field, when syncing contacts with MS-Exchange.
im running cyanogen mod and im having problems receiving picture text messages. it loads shows it for one sec then go's off real quick.

Is there a setting where I can make the phone repeatedly give me an alert and/or vibrate when I get a text message? The initial list of message threads loads fine, but when I select one I get "loading" for a very long time. This has never happened to me before, and I have been running 2.1 since it was released. It will stop working out of the blue and start back up. The only reason I know that it stops is because the person I am texting shows me that they never received a message from me and I never got one from them. My phone does not tell me I cant receive or send it just stops and I never know. When it starts working again it does not ever send the messages I didn't receive.

Is there a way to make your phones screen light up when you receive a text message? Also is there a way to set a reminder like every few minutes that you have a text message? Say if you receive a text message while you're away from the phone then two minutes later the phone vibrates or sounds to remind you that you have a new text.
