last 3 days programs don't want download to phone. In notices from top panel i see message "download 'program name' completed successfully", But icon is /! - completed successfully. If expand top panel, messag is "failed to download, please try again"

i have an xperia x10 and i was very happy with it until y reset it now i cant find app that i could find before the reset and i think it is because the update, what should i do? Couple of days back I picked up the Sony Xperia X10 Mini Pro at the Dubai Duty Free only to realise after I come home that there is no Android Market application installed on the phone! This is absolutely ridicious, why would I buy an android phone if I cannot access the marketplace? Also if this is the case, it should be clearly highlighted and not sold in places like duty free where you have visitors/travellers and not always the residents of that particular country purchasing the mobiles.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone a few days ago to remove all the useless apps that the phone comes with. I basically got ride of a code reader, some stupid games, and a bunch of "trial version" applications. I just noticed now that I can't download apps from the Android Market anymore, and this is probably what caused it. Everything else on my phone still works perfectly. When I try to download an app from the Android Market, I select the app to be downloaded, press "Install", then press "OK" when it gives me the list of what the app has access to. Once I press "OK" a popup appears that says "Your Item Will be Downloaded". That's it. Nothing appears in the notification bar, and the download doesn't go at all. So I guess my question is. what would I have deleted to cause this problem? I unrooted my phone again since. Maybe a google app or something? And if so, I need the APK for it! Yeah, yeah I was an idiot, I know. Don't mention it. Here's what I've tried so far after searching this issue: - Cleared the cache and updates for all Google-related apps
View 34 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm at home, I keep my 3G data services turned off. I have a wifi connection and the 3G connection isn't very good inside my house anyway. For some reason, every time I open Android Market, it tells me I have to turn on data services, even if I'm connected already to wifi, and then it keeps interrupting because of the poor 3G connection. Is there any way to force this application to use wifi? I have no problem with other applications.
