Sep 25, 2010I recently purchased an Xperia X10 from Rogers. I connected to my wifii and try to get free apps. It shows as downloading for ever but nothing happens. Do I have to debrand my phone to use.

Nov 28, 2010I am having a problem while downloading applications from the Android Market.
Whenever i try to download any application from the android market it says "Download was unsuccessful".
I cant figure out why this is happening.
Previously i used to download it successfully.

Oct 22, 2010my android market still doesn't work. Been a week now. I know I've only got 595mb left on my 8gb SD card, but the things I've tried to download have been smaller. Do I need a minimum left on my card, or something? Whenever I try it just says "so and so has been unsuccessful in downloading please try again."

Nov 29, 2010my problem isn't downloading apps from the market. My problem is that I cannot log into my gmail to use market. What happen is I would be prompted to enter my user/pass, which I do, then I would get security check (enter the words in the twisted picture) and then it'd keep giving me different words after I've enter them even though I am very confident I got them correctly. It'd just keep giving me new words to enter. Anyone know how I can fix it?

Apr 12, 2010I'm experiencing problems when trying to download apps from the Market over WiFi; I can browse the Market perfectly over WiFi, but when I try download and install it gets stuck, until I turn WiFi off and activate a 3G data connection, then everything works. Sep 24, 2010I'm getting reports that my app does not work on X10. Got a couple of 1-star ratings because of that, but nobody contacted me by email and I can't reproduce the problem in an emulator. It probably means 1.6 android. Anybody wants to help in testing? The app is a game called Slitherlink (Demo!). I don't know if linking to apps is allowed here.If you can test it please drop me a line. If you manage to get an FC I will ask you to install Sendlog (or any other tool capable of sending a log) and to send me the crash log.

Sep 4, 2010I have just done a factory reset and have only set up my market and downloaded net monitor.For some reason the phone is always downloading when it is connected to wifi. I am talking about 12mb per night. I thought it was one of my apps so I did a factory reset, after the reset the phone is still downloading at a rate of about 150 kb every 5 min. what is this should I be worried?I've also noticed If I am connected to 3g instead of wifi it downloads much less, maybe 50kb per night.

It seems to send 2 items, then the sync shuts down and says 'failed'. I'm doing it via wi-fi, not using the 3G network, does that make a difference?

Oct 22, 2010having been notified that my x10 mini required an update I connected to PC using PC companion. The update failed halfway through and could not be restarted (battery was fully charged at start of update).
The phone now will not switch on and only displays a triangle with an attention symbol in the middle of it. I have tried the reset (home button and power on together) and also have tried to connect to PC companion to re-try update, however because the the phone only displays the triangle i cannot connect to PC and therefore cannot load software update. I effectively now have a very pretty paper weight.
