I am having a problem while downloading applications from the Android Market.
Whenever i try to download any application from the android market it says "Download was unsuccessful".
I cant figure out why this is happening.
Previously i used to download it successfully.

View 2 Replies View Relatedmy problem isn't downloading apps from the market. My problem is that I cannot log into my gmail to use market. What happen is I would be prompted to enter my user/pass, which I do, then I would get security check (enter the words in the twisted picture) and then it'd keep giving me different words after I've enter them even though I am very confident I got them correctly. It'd just keep giving me new words to enter. Anyone know how I can fix it?

Couple of days back I picked up the Sony Xperia X10 Mini Pro at the Dubai Duty Free only to realise after I come home that there is no Android Market application installed on the phone! This is absolutely ridicious, why would I buy an android phone if I cannot access the marketplace? Also if this is the case, it should be clearly highlighted and not sold in places like duty free where you have visitors/travellers and not always the residents of that particular country purchasing the mobiles.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone a few days ago to remove all the useless apps that the phone comes with. I basically got ride of a code reader, some stupid games, and a bunch of "trial version" applications. I just noticed now that I can't download apps from the Android Market anymore, and this is probably what caused it. Everything else on my phone still works perfectly. When I try to download an app from the Android Market, I select the app to be downloaded, press "Install", then press "OK" when it gives me the list of what the app has access to. Once I press "OK" a popup appears that says "Your Item Will be Downloaded". That's it. Nothing appears in the notification bar, and the download doesn't go at all. So I guess my question is. what would I have deleted to cause this problem? I unrooted my phone again since. Maybe a google app or something? And if so, I need the APK for it! Yeah, yeah I was an idiot, I know. Don't mention it. Here's what I've tried so far after searching this issue: - Cleared the cache and updates for all Google-related apps
View 34 Replies View RelatedWhen I'm at home, I keep my 3G data services turned off. I have a wifi connection and the 3G connection isn't very good inside my house anyway. For some reason, every time I open Android Market, it tells me I have to turn on data services, even if I'm connected already to wifi, and then it keeps interrupting because of the poor 3G connection. Is there any way to force this application to use wifi? I have no problem with other applications.

This "7c02815a-e245-102d-a194-6ec07c99d928.apk" file for bluetooth file transfer and using data cable. I copied that file in my video folder (for self knowing folder I pasted) now I don't see that file in my mobile video folder. So how will I install? I have cleared the cache and uninstalled market updates and I am currently on 2.1v of android market.
I have updated my X10 mini to Android 2.1.Every thing seems working fine except the Android Market app.I can search, and browse Android Market.But I am failing to download ANY app from the Market.The download icon does appear; but after a while it says "download paused".I searched through different forums and found that one very common suggestion is to boot the phone by pressing "Power" and "Home" key.No luck by booting either. Can some one please suggest some remedy for the problem?
