Kindly help, the phone is only 4 months old, suddenly stopped working, screen fully off, red light flashes when power is flashed, also produces sound when vol key pressed. recently downloaded new song. repair shop in newton abbot say no soft ware to flash it.

Does the phone have a light source? for instance if u wanted to take a picture where there is no light u would need a flashlight.

From SE Macedonia they told me that my phone cannot be repaired. My gurantee is not valid because they told me that I've broken the motherboard.

View 11 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if there is a way to turn on the photo light from the still camera screen with out having to go through the advanced settings. This is a huge pain when you are taking a photo and have to go through several steps to turn on a light that should have been an automatic flash to begin with or at least have a quick toggle button on the same camera screen. This is nuts not to have this at an instant when it is so important to have to take some pictures. Someone please help or tell me if this is fixed in the new 2.1 (I cannot tell since I live in the USA and we are getting the shaft on the new update--everyone else is getting it before us and no one will say when we are getting it)

View 12 Replies View RelatedJust wondering why the X10 mini pro doesn't have the end call button at the top like the X10 Maxi (power button)?The lack of having this feature is absurd. The easiest and most logical way to end a call is to press the top lock screen/power button. I recommended this phone to someone and they got a massive shock when they realised they had an active call going for over 8 hours! Could you please add this feature in your next update, if not could you at least have a visual clue to let the user know that they have an active call when the screen is off, eg notification light blinking purple or something.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI took my X10 to the SonyErricson shop to get the local sim working and GBP 60 later they managed to stuff the phone. The local sim now works but but the phone is useless as it does not power up When I put the SD card in. The authorised shop started speaking in Arabic telling me they could not help. I suspect they did not do a good job unlocking it or screwed up the os somehow. I tried to use the "Update Service" software and this says: "Failed to Detect Product" I have a catch 22 situtation as I cant power up and I cant use the phone without the sd card. I just want to reset the os so I can get back to defaults.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy last phone was a Nokia N86 8MP. Like the x10, it to had a 8.1 MP camera. Unlike the x10, the images on the Nokia seemed a little clearer, but what really sets the Nokia's camera apart from the x10's is the flash. I recently tried taking a photo with the x10 in a dark room, although the photo light seemed bright, you couldn't see anything past 5 ft, the same applies in video mode. With the Nokia that was never a problem, the flash was bright enough to light up the entire room and so was the video light. I suggest, if it's legally possible, SE have it's testers look at the Nokia N86 8MP and borrow, if not improve upon their camera, flash and video setup.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to connect my Xperia to my pc via USB port nothing happens. The problem started after I updated my phone's software not to 2.1 (as its not available for my phone as yet) but another update that the software said was available. Upon completing the update I then reconnected my phone to the USB port but then my computer said there's no drivers installed for my phone. I've tried letting windows search for drivers but no luck with that. I find this strange when previously everything worked fine and I could browse the files on my memory card, but now all I get is no drivers are available. I've tried searching for drivers on line, but there doesn't seem to be none. Is there any way to solve this problem?

I've tried using different security protocols and they all yield the same result, it cannot successfully obtain an IP address. Occasionally it would work, but most of the time it doesn't.
