Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Way To Turn On Photo Light

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn on the photo light from the still camera screen with out having to go through the advanced settings. This is a huge pain when you are taking a photo and have to go through several steps to turn on a light that should have been an automatic flash to begin with or at least have a quick toggle button on the same camera screen. This is nuts not to have this at an instant when it is so important to have to take some pictures. Someone please help or tell me if this is fixed in the new 2.1 (I cannot tell since I live in the USA and we are getting the shaft on the new update--everyone else is getting it before us and no one will say when we are getting it)
