View 12 RepliesAlot of x10 users seem to be using apps that are eating at their battery, but most people do not know which apps are causing this. So I created this thread for all X10 users to list any apps that they know eat battery very quickly, thus helping others, so they can remove the app(s) and gain more battery life

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am X10 owner but can anyone tell me how to save text messages that come in to my phone. This phone is nowhere as simple as an old nokia or SE. Also how do I forward messages that I receive. Don't mind saving them on the phone memory or SD card but need to be able to get to them and ensure they are in folders - inbox, sent items etc.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm the new owner of an X10 and I'm, so far ;-), really happy about it. I still have an issue that prevent me to throw away my old Palm agenda. I have a Google Calendar that is synchronised to both my Palm and now mu X10. I notice a strange "one hour shift" issue with my X10: every appointment after the Daylight Saving Time is shifted from one hour on the X10. I figure that this is related to the way the X10 handle the daylight saving: the automatic setting for the time zone is GMT+02:00:HMG+2:00 whereas Google calendar says correctly that Paris is on the GMt+01:00 with a one hour shift due to summer time. Is there a way to fix this issue that prevent me from using the agenda?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'd like to charge my phone with the power off. However, while it charges, no matter when or how many times I power it down, it automatically powers back on.Because I normally charge it while I'm asleep, I don't like hearing any notifications, etc.Is there some way to turn it off and keep it off while charging?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyone of you noticed that x10 (after update) no longer stop charging when connected to USB charger? During v1.6, the charging indicator turned off and cp used it's power source when fully charge now, it's charging endlessly.

View 7 Replies View RelatedJust wondering why the X10 mini pro doesn't have the end call button at the top like the X10 Maxi (power button)? The lack of having this feature is absurd. The easiest and most logical way to end a call is to press the top lock screen/power button. I recommended this phone to someone and they got a massive shock when they realised they had an active call going for over 8 hours! Could you please add this feature in your next update, if not could you at least have a visual clue to let the user know that they have an active call when the screen is off, eg notification light blinking purple or something.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI took my X10 to the SonyErricson shop to get the local sim working and GBP 60 later they managed to stuff the phone. The local sim now works but but the phone is useless as it does not power up When I put the SD card in. The authorised shop started speaking in Arabic telling me they could not help. I suspect they did not do a good job unlocking it or screwed up the os somehow. I tried to use the "Update Service" software and this says: "Failed to Detect Product" I have a catch 22 situtation as I cant power up and I cant use the phone without the sd card. I just want to reset the os so I can get back to defaults.
View 11 Replies View RelatedPreviously my Xperia used to turn in by itself while charging i figured it out as an Intelligent Charging Circuit system, then i updated my phone and it stopped turning on while charging, even after 2.1 it is not resolved.although it stops charging when its powered on and fully charged but it dont when its off it neither stops charging nor turns on by itself, is it a problem if it is how can i resolve it.

View 2 Replies View Relatedi was wondering about the hydra kernals. I installed the latest overvolt hydra kernal. My question is when you go into idle, does it underclock for you? Or do you have to install undervolt to do that? Also can you install both overvolt and undervolt at the same time? (not literally at the same time but have both kernals at once to get the most power and battery saving?)

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've just started using my X2 as a music player and as expected that uses more battery than how I normally use the phone.I've plugged the phone into my laptop (with a genuine SE cable) and stopped everything I can in the task manager. The "backlight and power screen" says the phone is charging but the percentage is going down not up.The phone is just sitting there in standby with nothing running (as far as I know) - certainly no bluetooth or wireless.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWith only Helix Launcher installed and brightness turned down so far I have been running solid "so far" for:
1d 9h 21m 17s since last unplugged
Cell standby 46%
Phone idle 44%
Android System 4%
Display 3%
Bluetooth 2%
45% battery life left.

I went to the store where i Bought it and they replace with some new, but it is still the same, i dont know if my xperia is bad as well...I didn't wanted to root it because i'm not sure if I need to change it ..... I'm really dissappointed, anyone have or had this same trouble? I always charge the battery 8 hours...
View 4 Replies View RelatedSomething strange happened a few days ago.I fully charged the battery in the evening. Then the next morning the phone (X 10) had switched itself off because the battery was completely empty. And I hadn't used the phone at all after charging it.I hope it's one of those things that happen only once but it was very strange how the battery could empty itself like that.Anyone have any idea about how it could happen?
View 6 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to use x10 mini's battery in x10 mini pro??
i know that x10 mini battery is not removable since it cannot be opened!!!
but wat if u need to replace the battery of mini... should we replace the phone or do we get a new battery??
I now have a problem with my battery. A few hours ago, my battery level was around 35%. A few hours later, it remained at 35% indication. Since this couldn't be correct, i restarted the phone. Now, my battery indication was 100%. False again. I turned the phone off. It wouldn't restart. I tried the 'flash device method' by holding back button and putting in computer USB. No help. I tried SEUS. After that, phone switched back on, with false battery indication back to 100%, which is impossible. I noticed that during all this 'fun stuff', my battery refuses to charge. The LED indicator remains green without flashing, the settings screen doesnt say 'charging'. I know that the phone won't charge below 95% battery. So, the phone thinks the battery is 100%, therefore won't charge, and I'm pretty screwed, especially since I fear that once my battery drops dead, the phone won't be able to charge ever since it will think its 100% full.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just ordered the Xperia X10a. Customer Retentions gave me a great deal on it (Great deal = entirely 100% free, I figure I really couldn't beat "free" :P) and so I said "Yes, that sounds lovely" (not an exact transcript of my reaction). I now await its arrival in the mail. So I've been pretty damn excited about it. But then I did the ONE thing I told myself not to do: go trolling on the internet for all the negatives. I knew there were going to be negatives, that's the nature of smartphones, there's always going to be something if not multiple somethings. But I have to admit I was unprepared for the sheer amount of complaints over the battery life. Now I'm depressed (not really, but you know what I mean). Did I just order myself a lemon? I mean don't get me wrong, you still can't beat a free phone I suppose, but is it a free mobile phone, or a free "I need to get to a wall outlet so I can charge this thing because it discharged after only an hour and a half" phone, which isn't exactly all that mobile (ok, well it's mobile, just not mobile + useful at the same time -- I admit I was sort of hoping for the latter. Pipe dreams, what can I say).
View 24 Replies View RelatedI found this in a blog, and thought I would share it with my fellow X10 users Most people complain about the battery life...well the people over at xperiax10.net have tested 2 mugen power batteries along with the stock battery. Check the link for the great results Mugen Power Xperia X10 Battery Review ? Part 2 | Xperia X10 Blog. I thought this may help some people that may want to purchase a battery that will last longer, but are unsure which to buy.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi noticed since going to 2.1 my battery wont fully charge. it stays plugged in on average 7 hours while i sleep and each morning its been around 90% full but no more. i know the battery will charge and discharge a little while charging but this one doesnt wanna go any higher.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've been playing with my phone since the update to 2.1 and I suddenly noticed, by looking at the notification area, that my battery was getting critically low - but I hadn't had an alert, either onscreen (I don't think) or audible to tell me so Could I have switched it off accidentally, and if so, where can I switch it on again?
View 10 Replies View RelatedMy X10 doesn't like charging to 100%, whenever I leave it charging for long periods of time (ex. overnight) the battery will never be at 100%, it will stop at around 95%, then it will stop charging (the icon still shows charging but the battery life slowly goes down). The only way I can get it to 100% is if I unplug the charger for a few seconds, then plug it back in, then it will charge up full.
